Current heavy rain made this rather tricky borh for parking and finding. But we persevered. TFTC
What is that terrible yellow stinking water at the side of the road? After successfully navigating the small ditch I made my way to GZ and a quick find of the container. The container certainly was difficult to open but eventually prised it open. The contents were a little damp and I drained a couple of mm of water. No serious damage. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
After an event in Cherbourg this morning, we joined forces with GreenGecko1, Muggle65 and Brislions to wander our way back home, picking up target caches along the way. Some we sought because of their type, some because of their D/T, some their size and some because they sounded interesting. This one was a bit of a challenge to get to with a large amount of water to navigate between GZ and the road. Once that was dealt with, the cache was quickly found. Thanks youngoldfella
I was out today caching with Muggle65 and GreenGecko1. I had only had two caches on the list today. After the event we headed to this cache. WallabyWanderers thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
Out with Muggle65, Brislions and DisSister for some caching fun today. Thank you for the fun
Out today finding some Large sizes to fill in some gaps in my stats. Cache in good condition.
Lots of water and lots of spider webs in here but cache in good shape. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella
Found with PapaGrouch. This was a bit of fun to access, if you didn't stand still for too long you could cross the mud, but if you stopped the vegetation would give way and you would start to sink. Then the cache was a bit of a challenge to get open, but it was good to get another large sized cache to add to my finds. TFTC
That’s a nice big cache. It took a big leap across the full and flowing drain to get to your cache tho’. It’s been a while since we found a cache guarded by a moat.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Stopping in Kingaroy for a couple of days as we bimble around before we head back to Ipswich.
Constant drizzly rain, causing wet vegetation and soggy ground underfoot made for an interesting days caching. We must GeoAddicts to be out hunting for caches in this weather. [:o)]

Well this was quite the adventure. Had to walk through muddy swamp and got half the forest stuck in my hair.
Thanks to the recent work in the area it will be best to come in from the back of the hide.
Quite a bit of roadwork has happened close to GZ clearing the trees a little further from the road edge. But despite this the cache was easily found once we navigated all the tossed trees and branches. It was dry and in good condition. Many thanks for placing this cache out here YoungOldFella. We are glad we came to Kingaroy today to buy a step ladder at Mitre10 where we managed to buy another few items AND had a nice lunch in their cafe.
It’s great being able to do the things you need to do AND find some geocaches as well.
Cheers and happy caching!

It's been far too many months since The Bromance last went on a weekend geocaching road trip so plans were made a couple of weeks ago for a journey north towards Kingaroy and the surrounding area. Unfortunately Crookedpete was unable to make it due to family commitments so it was a Bromance Lite+ trip of JezNDez, Swellerfungus and Seffnjarah.
Today was Day 2 of the trip, and after an overnight stay in a dingy motel in Kingaroy, we were up bright and early to begin another day of caching adventures. This proved to be a rather challenging cache on a number of fronts. First was trying to find a suitable park close to GZ. We ended up driving up and down the road a few times before ultimately parking in a driveway further up the road and walking back. Next was trying to find a way in to GZ past a steady flow of water running off the nearby field, avoiding the mud and spiders. Dez was happy to turn around and give the whole thing a miss at this stage but we persevered and soon found ourselves standing at GZ. The last challenge was trying to gain access to the cache container, with the lid not wanting to give way, and not helped by chilly numb fingers. Eventually we gained access and signed the logbook with The Bromance team stamp (although there may be a slight glitch with the stamp date). TFTC

Parking was not easy at this one, so we took the safer option and opted to park at the neatest driveway. Cache was found by the crew.
We are on the way to the New Year's event in Kilkivan. We use the occasion to collect some smilies.
We saw a Possum on the tree, he was still sitting there when we left.

Found on a sunny Winter day for a drive to Kingaroy.
while on a stopover for a few days.
Many good safe hides and not many muggles around today.
Cache condition is OK/good. Great big cache too.
Thanks for the cache youngoldfella,

Thanks for this one. There is plenty of swag but no travel bugs in this one. Last time I was here the table drain was full of water so I gave this one a miss. Anyway got the smile now so all is good here. Tftc
If possible, can someone let me know if the Surfing Antarctica TB is still in the cache?
Thanks!
Thanks!
There were lots of big trees at the big tree cache this afternoon, and lots of very long grass too. I did the anti snake stompy dance and headed through, over and around to find the lovely big container. Tftc youngoldfella
We are on our way to Blackall QOGM, our 6th stop on our trip is Nanango.
This morning we decided not to move to Kingaroy but instead took a day trip from Nanango.
Our main target was the dinosaur trail & a few others around town.
Certainly a big cache container, hard to open but when we did it held lots of swaps.
Thankyou for placing this cache youngoldfella

This completes our smiley collection for Kingaroy. A sizable container to finish with.

Enjoying a 2 day stopover in Kingaroy and doing some geocaching. An easy find just getting into was a little challenging. TFTC.
While camping in the Nanango area with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out & about finding some caches in the surrounding areas.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Hi there youngoldfella.
We are on our way to [QOGM](https://coord.info/GC7P875), the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster, which is being held in Barcaldine. We stopped off in Kingaroy today on our way westward so we could break our journey and log a few geocaches.
Our find total today was 9 caches & we DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels as we continue our nomadic wanderings around Australia. Thanks also for placing a large cache container here. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache (with swaps) here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
**Dropped Trackable:** "31 Roadster".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

What a stench here - maybe from the stagnant water? Lid was difficult to remove, so had to ask geohubby for some muscle. Was impressed by the amount of swag in this container.
After completing our tasks in Kingaroy I had to come here to find this Cache, we all do love a BIG container, and I wasn't disappointed by this one. The Cache was nice and dry after the rain that we have had. It was a pleasure to add our name to the log book.
Cheers

No trouble finding the cache and lid was hard to get off but manageable - do like larger cache containers!

The biggest snag here,
was finding somewhere to park,
close to where they make a lot of snags
First thing I noticed was the huge amount of construction work happening !! [:o]
Swickers is expanding the factory
Mmmm !! More tasty, non-vegetarian, snacks
In a shady spot,
I soon found this cache,
after me eyes had adjusted to the gloom

I cant believe how long it took me to find this one and the problems getting the lid off but I got there in the end, all perfectly dry. TFTC youngoldfella
Next, we headed to this one. We pulled up on the side of the road and had to wait for a break in the cars zipping past before we could get out of the car. Then we made our way across the road. Hmmm.....I think it will b e better to go in there. Brushing past a few trees, we were soon making our way to the cache, protected from passing muggles by the trees. At GZ, a nice BIG cache was located and the log signed. TFTC
Mrs RoddyC out today in Kingaroy. Ater the rain last night I was dreading the access to this cache but I guess because the ground is so dry the gutters have not started to run yet. Access was nice and dry.

For some time I've been meaning to get back to visit the Burnett region, and today was the day. An early start was made and a long 12.5 hr day was spent driving 650km through Blackbutt, Yarraman, Nanango, Kingaroy, Murgon, and up to Boat Mountain before returning.
Can't resist a large cache while I'm in the area. Took a little bush bash but its well hidden and in great shape.
Thanks **youngoldfella** for bringing us here, this find makes smilie #3356. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Having spent the night camped up on Mt Wooroolin, got an early start this morning cleaning up some more of the caches in the Kingaroy area.
An easy find after I found a way into the trees.
All with the cache

Had an afternoon stroll from cowie Dr all the way down tessmans road, nice big geocache now for the long walk back TFTC
Driving from our farm sit at Manyung - the long way round, to Kingaroy, pretty hot today, but thought this should be a quick drive by. Climbed into the bushes, both of us creating a few scratched, and very conscious of slithering things. Mr D found the hide - how could you not. Left a few more bits and pieces for the geokiddies. Thanks YOF
Thanks youngoldfella. another great cache for the kids. Willpunkey swapped for a badge.
Thanks so much our FTF. So exciting to see it come up we rushed quickly out the door!! With Sparhawke
Got the email notification about this new case at approximately 7:30 pack the kids up and raced over to try and find it. Found in the middle of the night without too much effort unfortunately somebody else it's on the log before us. Thank you for all the swag in this case the kids loved it took a little stuff and replaced a little stuff. This was our first time searching at night for a cash and I'm so happy that we found it. Tftc
