Great hide and found on the final day of our 4 day hike of the Kepler track. Thanks for placing on such a lovely walk.
Easy find, unsure how you would miss this beauty. Love the unique container.
Easyz but nice spot for a cache, thanks for hiding. Unfortunately the pencil was gone, so had to improvise with a twig.
Checked the wrong hint object first, but then very quickly found it and had a drink TFTC
This is about as much of the Kepler as I'll be completing in the immediate future, but thanks for bringing me along here for a teaser of what I can only hope to complete in the future. Cache was a nice easy find here, TFTC!
Staying at manapouri for couple days, thought we would chase some caches.
Visiting the South Island from Ottawa, Canada, and getting some caches along the way. Very beautiful! Arrived here from Queenstown yesterday. tftc
We made only a small stroll on Kepler. But my son completed it a week later.Waiau river was beatiful. And the forest too. Thanks and greetings from the Czech Republic.
# #7,004 #----------Walked over the control gates and past a few caches to this last one so I could work my way back slowly in the shade. This one was a really nice container, a great use of size here in a beautiful lakeside woodland. TFTC!!! ----------> All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ
Finding this cache was interesting and it is the longest distance of cache creep that I have seen. I arrived at GZ and couldnt find the cache so I looked at the previous logs. I walked back to the car park and stopped at the information shelter where I found the cache. Checked that was definitely the correct cache and signed the logbook. I left and went into Te Anau as I wanted coffee and cake. Wandered around Te Anau for a bit before driving back to Manapouri. Decided to divert and go back to the information shelter. I took the cache and returned it to its correct hiding place. This added a couple of extra kms onto my walking for today.
I was passing by and found this cache container sitting at the shelter at the Kepler Track information shelter.

Quick find here today to complete the trio on this small expanse of track. Took Mauler TB to move along the coast. TFTC!
Found it and I left a trackable in it! It came from the USA and originated from Texas.
A lovely easy one to find here. Gorgeous walk, but this is as far as time allows today. Hopefully we can walk further another time. Thanks DOC for placing a cache here in this beautiful spot.
I found this cache while on vacation in New Zealand Thank you for the experience Greetings from Germany
Thankfully this was a super quick find, and my last one on this part of the kepler track. I turned around at this point and began my meander back towards town and sustenance.. a breakfast lunch combo.
Also an entertaining cache container i entirely wasn't expecting
Now the cache name makes sense !
If only i could get the punchline of the last cache title/bad joke i know out of my head.
Thanks DOCFiordland for placing all these caches along the kepler track to keep us entertained while walking in a gorgeous part of the world.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we were parked up at the NZMCA Alpine camp site in Te Anau & were spending our time exploring the area, on foot & by bike ... we decided we would walk a small section of the Kepler Track from the Control Gates to Brod Bay & return … so when we had done that we thought it would be rude not to walk down the banks of the Waiau River & pick up the 3 nearby caches … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,974 for us.
#3,718: Drink Smiley!
I came to this one with DieMannschafft, the day before our Milford Track walk. We only walked a little bit of this track, but had a GREAT time!
Found in good shape!

Found the cache on a short walk into the Kepler track, while being on the way with 8ManAfter for the Milford Track. TFTC
Out for an hour from the flood gate. Stopped for this one on the way back. Such amazing lush bush around here.
We indeed did stop for a drink as it have been a while since our last. Nice big cache here
Day four, my final day on the track, and I’m going to be a bit sad when it’s over. Easy walking today so I spent a bit of time mentally planning future tramps and was also glad for a good run of caches on this leg to break the day up.
Is thirsty work this tramping lark but thoroughly enjoyable. A good spot for a stop, drink and cache.
In my enthusiasm I overshot the GZ but about 30 metres but having retraced my steps the hint made perfect sense and the good sized cache was soon found.
Thanks DOCFiordland

On a caching trip picking up some PWGT smilies and others along the way. An early start picking up a few caches on the Kepler Track. Taking the opportunity to find these as my pup wasn't my companion on this trip with my man offering to be dog sitter. A nice quick find at the hint object. It's a pass for the drink.. I had my own All good here tftc
Granny Pugsy spotted this one first!
No pen again unfortunately, so have photo instead
Nice container, wish I had a cup...

Came from Blenheim to tramp the Kepler with a friend....has been quite an experience - weather forecast was not good initially but I think we did quite well. After waking up to a white morning at the Luxmore Hut and walking through to Iris burn in 5-10cm of snow and then clear skies from then on....was fantastic. The views from the top was so amazing.
This is the last leg for us.... skipped right past the last cache (Whoops) - so made a big point of stopping for this one.

Overshot this as GPS did not keep up. Spotted a bit of it as we retraced our steps. Title makes sense now TFTC
What a stunning trail! Was interesting trying to focus on finding the cache with so much around to marvel at! Even caught sight of a deer!

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on our last full day in Te Anau as tomorrow we head south to Invercargill. The day started out a bit cool but it soon warmed up and remained fine until mid afternoon.
Great container -these make excellent caches! We were impressed by the DOC caches along here, the variety of containers and the good co-ordinates, which has not always been the case in DOC placed caches in other areas . Thanks for the effort and a fav point. TFTC.

#18849. Last find of the day (tried for one more, but had a DNF there). We've enjoyed the various DOCFiordland caches we've done. We've found the standard of DOC caches to be pretty variable, but the DOCFiordland cache creators obviously knew what they were doing. Many thanks!
A great day exploring the Kepler Track & completing an escape room with Ricardinho. A chilled out day before our half marathon tomorrow
An awesome series of very cool caches on the Kepler Track Loved finding all these caches

A quick find, thanks DOC!
Today may well be our last geocaching day in this awesome little town, so our goal today was a few that have been placed near the start of the Kepler track by the local DOC team and a couple on the way out and back. Not a great day early on, but it soon cleared late morning and we had a great walk. Finished the day off by completing one of the escape rooms at the local outfit that does those - great fun, would recommend! Thanks all COs.
