Reperio 15:16Headed to Bathurst to enjoy half a day of caching in the area, and decided to try and clear out as many inner city caches that I could given today was quiet about the town. But for starters, I headed out of town to grab a few, and this one provided a nice start to day. Gratias Noonie1990As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Last find on day one of a three day solo cache raid around greater Bathurst. Thanks.
Sneaky hide. Pretended to take photos of the horses while we waited for lots of cars to go past. Tftc
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
Today we went for a drive down to Perthville & Georges Plains, stopping off at The Junktion tip shop at Orton, then returning to Bathurst via Cow Flat Road, Gestingthorpe Road, O'Regans Road, Lagoon Road, and Gormans Hill Road, collecting caches along the way. Also took a short detour down Hollis Lane for a few caches. This was the 4th of 20 finds for the day (day 7), and 124th find of the holiday.
Stopped at this one for a nice quick roadside grab of a very familiar hide style. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. There were lots of rolled hay bales in the field beside the cache. TFTC Noonie1990.

#5523- An instant find with thomo31 while heading past on our way to do the TRLT. Thanks
With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.
No issues locating this one, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the hide Noonie1990 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild.
We hit the road early and resisted the urge to stop along way. We decided to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area. We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure.
Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.

Over from Perth on work, so while in Bathurst I've spent a bit of time each day grabbing a couple of caches.
After lunch I planned a route out of town but grabbed a few on the way out.
Took a minute but soon found it. TFTC

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
I was on guard here against the muggle hoards !!
Not that it was necessary.
The high speed muggles couldn't care less about me being a bit amorous with the roadside furniture [:X]

#8837 - 10:10; After a night in Bathurst, it is now day three of the LuckyL10n, Sol de lune Geocaching Australia journey or destination tour as we pick up a few caches in and around the town before we head for home. After a lateish start this morning, we collected this one as we headed south on a trig hunt. A quick park and grab on the way past. TFTC Noonie1990
In the area at the end of a 3 day road trip with LuckyL10n and headed out this way chasing a couple of trigs points. Alas we missed those, however we certainly stopped to grab this one. no problems at all and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks Noonie1990....a good quick find.

This is one of those caches that is simply located in the only logical place it could be, so there was no problem in finding it. Log was soon signed and all was put back into its hidey hole again. Thank you to Noonie1990 for adding this cache to the local caching scene.
Found it. I was on the cusp of defeat & resigned to a DNF, but one last lunge with fingers outstretched & there it was. Yes! Previous finder must have long fingers to push it so far into hiding place.
Thanks
Thanks
Hill End and Mudgee weekend April 2018. I set out late on Thursday after a small car battery issue. I only stopped once before a night at Bummeroo ford. Friday took me to Orange via many spread out caches between Oberon and Bathurst. I spent the night at Macquarie woods. Saturday started foggy and then warmed up. I was heading to Hill end, and did make it, but I had to give up on the Bridle track due to a rockfall. Late in the evening I did find a spot along the Turon river and the very bumpy northern section of the Bridle trail. Sunday had me finishing the TRLT trail from Mudgee to Gulgong and a few missed ones in the middle of nowhere. The last day was a simple drive home from Sofala. A great weekend !
Plenty of roadside stops today.
Thanks.

Heading back to Canberra, after my much needed holiday staying with my parents in Caloundra ... been up here for several weeks (for Christmas, and most of January
Have been doing lots of "Geocaching Therapy" - found at least one cache a day since I left home, kept going until the day after I got home ...
TFTC - Wanted to keep driving, because it was getting late and I needed to get home, but I needed an excuse to stop for a few minutes to see if that made the sound work in my car again...(it was being dodgy... would randomly decide not to work until I stopped for a few minutes then and started the car again ... grrr)
Very quick find between not much traffic

I suggest to fitzy_1965 that we should go caching for his birthday. He chose the Bathurst area. So with a list compiled, my only request was to grab some unloved caches so I could finally complete a challenge cache. We managed to fill in a lot of gaps and some previous DNF's.....although I think we ended up with more DNF's for the day

In town for a SES Competition over the weekend, had a few hours to kill between the last scenario and dinner so grabbed a few smilies on the long way back to my accommodation. Quick PnG concentrating on the obvious rather than the arrow which was pointing closer to the fenceline. Heading there first however did allow me to spot the actual cache from a particular angle.
Easy find on a quiet Sunday afternoon drive. Bridge in town closed so not much traffic around.
Nicely hidden. Not quite where I expected. From memory the cache and log are fine. TFTC Noonie1990.
