The council removed the sign this was attached to. Will work out another for this end of the beach.

Still not there

A few DNFs on a D1 I think would warrant checking by the CO.

As this was a D1, and coords seemed accurate, we only spent about five minutes looking. I think this one needs a CO check. Nice beach but rubbish surf today.

Came to try my luck in this holidays.. Too many muggles, I didn't have a chance for a decent search. I really didn't understand why most of the people ignored the sign.. Well.., I'll come back some other time. Thanks Wordheard.

I was working on the computer but could not resist an invitation to drive over to Macmasters beach which hosts my favourite beachside cafe. About 15 minutes after the listing we arrived at GZ to find Brother Colin already hard at work and he soon held the cache given the ample clues to where it might be hiding. We signed and talked for a while until Opa Shrek also arrived to give us almost enough for an event. It was good to meet up with them and talk, much better than heading straight home to work. Thanks Wordherd for the hide, you could not have chosen a better place.

{*FTF*}
I was sitting at my computer solving (or trying to solve) a few puzzles when the notification came through. Big Grin
So on with a pair of shoes and I was out the door. Smile
I was first on the scene but Mr&Mrs Fish arrived before I had found the cache. Smile
It was found very shortly afterwards so we can share the First to Find. Cool
Thanks for the cache.

OMG, you've got to be quick on your feet when you go for a FTF.

Just as I was making a sandwich for lunch today, I heard the tinkle of my phone heralding the arrival of a cache close to home. So naturally, I jumped in the car as soon as I finished, and headed over to Macs, which is only 5 minutes or so from home, very much expecting to get a first to find ... after all, I got there less than half an hour after publication. The only problem was that Brother Colin and Mr&MrsFish were already at GZ having a chat ... and they had already found, logged and put back the cache. So 3TF for me ... serves me right for having the sandwich first!!

A nice consolation prize though ... the opportunity for a geo-chat will fellow cachers ... it was good to catch up with you, Mr&MrsFish and Brother Colin. And thanks to Wordherd for placing this cache here ... and providing an excuse to come to what is probably my favourite beach along this stretch of the Coast.
