Replaced the cache exactly where the hint says it should be. It is a simple hide and a simple hint.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the ninth day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was so hot. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Despite the good hint and a high and low search with a stick, a DNF here. Lots of leaf litter though.

20-May-22
We gave this one a good search but ni luck. The giant orb spiders and leaf litter got to us after a while.

Beautiful stop. Thanks

A quick find. What a lovely spot. Added bonus was a snake skin in amongst the leaf litter. TFTF.

Yay, we found it! A bit dubious to go in to start with, through fear of snakes in the very tall grass. But luckily there had been a vehicle drive through which squashed the grass down and made a handy path... maybe a kind hearted cache owner perhaps? A quick find with the good hint and nice to find a cache in such an out of the way location. TFTC

Finally able to tick this off thanks to its replacement.
Last visit with Low1 produced a DNF, so I’m happy to it’s back in action thanks to a Good Samaritan.
Visited 3 TB.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

A very long search here with 2 sets of eyes yielded zilch.
I’d be surprised at how far this cache is buried under leaf litter and mulch given the time since it’s last find.

25-Jul-20
Not this time.

Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.

Moving day today from Batchelor to Pine Creek. Quite interesting driving through bushfires alongside the highway either side of the road. We were unable to stop for a few caches that we wanted to.

To tackle this one we unhitched at the highway and came by GeoCruiser without the 'house'. Well after 20minutes of looking by Mr Felix and having prickles clinging to all parts of his clothing it was time to send out a 'prayer' Mrs Felix noticed we had phone range and sent out an SOS. Phew the prayer was answered Surprised [8)] and a clue came our way.

With the grass being so long this is anything but a 1* difficulty. Even the terrain is probably 2*

Anyway full credit in the awesomeness of Tassie Trekkers for finding this one without help! This is pure evil. [:(!]

Today we headed towards Darwin using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. With the geo van in tow, we headed to GZ and we both looked at each other and said, not another FIG TREE. After reading all the details of the cache we spent a long time searching for this one, uncovering 2 snake skins and beating off those green ants, then finally Mr "T" made the find in its hidy hole. With a blank log sheet we will claim [*FTF*] @ 12.45.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Even our second try on our way back to Pine Creek, we had no luck. What a pity. Best of luck for the next geocacher. Tftc
