Lots of gorgeous Scribbly gums here. A nice little stop on our way north for warmer weather.
On way home after Capital GeoBash Mega, doing some caches on the long drive. Like this one to fill out my Jasmar list of older caches, TFTC
A quick stop over here to find this cache which is a new LGA for me. Cache found without problems. Thank you gazza959, for placing Uragallah for the geocaching community.# # #14679 # #
Canberra Geobash Road Trip 2024. Day Three: Goulburn and a couple of new LGAs.Came at this one nearly sideways! A new LGA to boot! Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, gazza959 ~~
Day #3 Geobashing After arriving in Canberra yesterday and checking in at Canberra Park, today OzHockeyChick and I left Canberra again to head out east and grab some LGAs, challenges, favourites and other selected caches.A new LGA! This was a quick trip across the border to add a new LGA. The lack of signage on the freeway for this road made for an interesting turn .A big thanks goes to gazza959 for taking the time to add Uragallah to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.

A small diversion off the highway and a quick find. Thanks for the cache gazza959
Found it with Everlasting, travelled to Sydney and thank you for leading us to your cache
Nice one! Cache is pretty dirty but the inside is well protected so no problems!! Made sure to close it up well again! Had to grab this one in a bit of rain. Crikey! Back on the road again aliendoods are on the move.
Third day of our trip and we have now left the Rutherglen Mega. We had planned to leave earlier for Sydney, but with 2 NSW events on offer, we had to delay our departure. Events are the one geocache type that I usually fail challenges on. So good to get our first interstate events and increase our numbers too.
Nice quick find after jumping the ditch and avoiding the yound blackberries.
Thanks for the cache Gazza 959

Cache is fine, though last finder could have been more careful with its closure.

Can't miss an opportunity for 3 caches, especially when they are off the main highway on the old road. This was the first.
It was time to move on from Goulburn today, but only a short distance to Mossvale.
We did the usual however and stopped to pick up a number of caches along the way, some with short diversions needed.
We also did one waypoint of and Adventure Lab and fully completed another en route. This afternoon we did some further caching as we looked round town. A lot were quite wet, but as Gippslanders from Victoria we understand that is what happens when you have weather like we have had.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache gazza959.

Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Cache is in urgent need of repair. Returned as found. TFTC
Urgent maintenance required- container disintegrated. Also there may be a trackable that needs rescuing?
On my day trip to Campbelltown with family... decide to stop by here to grab some cache on the day trip, nice hide quick found and placed back where it belong. TFTC gazza959
Yep - it’s there. Enroute to the MEGA. A great time to be had in the Gong. Bit of a late log but that happens!! TFTC
Always have been intrigued by the street name as I’ve driven up to Sydney before. Heading up for the geomuster was a perfect time to see what was around the area.

Found by Mary and David at 11:50. A busy place with multiple trucks being filled with gravel not far from GZ, Freeway full of trucks too. Hope the weather improves for the forthcoming Mega. Our thanks to gazza959.
I had driven past this cache before so today I was determined to get it and I did.
On my way up to the Penrose area to do some caches. A quick detour to grab this one on the way. A quick find, thanks gazza959.

Today was the day to head home from the Clear Water Mega event . We picked up a few caches on the way home to continue the run of finds, and make our journey home more satisfying.
Reasonably quick and easy find.

This will be our last find for the day. We’ve travelled from Gundagai & will be stopping in Campbelltown. This ends our road trip from Toowoomba to Melbourne & then Melbourne to Sydney collecting smiles as we go. We were last in Sydney 2 years ago - departing on the exact same day as we are now arriving. There are a plethora of new hides for us to find, this one was one of them. Tnln sl TFTC gazza959
Farewell Canberra & Goulburn, it's time to turn north & head home to Brisbane but that shouldn't stop us collecting a couple more smilies along the way.
Yet another nice quick find largely due to great coordinates.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

A day trip with The Matetrix to Kiama for a family get together. A little cool and overcast to start, but the skies cleared and it warmed up nicely. Just one of many finds for the day. TNLNSL TFTC
And so day 2 dawns on our caching long weekend, the bodies somewhat weary from the crow adventure but not to be detered we set of for another highland adventure. Did struggle a bit with the small hop over the blackberries ...body screaming, but Im sure its good for me to loosen up. Happy to get of the highway and on to the old hwy. Tftc
**This Cache:**
Pulled up within 10m of the GZ and left my car running, jumped out and did a 360 scan of the area and picked a place to target and there was the cache! Sweet nice and quick here, and another great country side road I can take instead of the highway! Always good fun!
---
**The Day:**
Day 1 of an extended weekend caching trip, and a family member's 50th up in Sydney!
Started off from Canberra at 7am and reached my accomodation in Moss Vale at 6pm. Then cached for another hour between 7-8pm! Today consisted of a few short stops to grab new + missed caches on the way to the Southern Highlands region, and then a big sweep of country roads and towns, picking up every cache I could and using some specific caches to guide me around. Visited some excellent locations today and also found some very creative caches! Found a total of 78 caches for the day!
Thanks to all the CO's! See individual log about each cache above ^^

I drove to Sydney this morning and sought out a couple of geocaches to break the journey and keep the aging knees moving. All four were straightforward finds, being in an obvious spot on the coordinates. Thank you gazza959 for installing and maintaining this cache.
Found while taking a short break from driving. I parked at the suggested spot and walked to GZ. My unit was putting me over a ditch full of blackberries, so I started looking for likely hiding places. Soon had CIH. TFTC.
Oz Geo Muster weekend Easter 2018. Day 1. Today I drove the road from Canberra to Morisset via the Pennant hills carpark and the F3 carpark. A lot slower than expected. I did stop a few times but only two caches today.
Thanks.

OOPS. Missed the first turn off but found the second. People on the highway don't like you slowing down in this state. Lovely little road. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Nabbed this one on my way home from Goulburn. Missed the sneaky turn off but used the other entrance. Nice quick PnG. TFTC
#7867 - 08:35; Headed off to the Blue Mountains with Sol de lune and collecting a few newer caches along the Hume Highway as we go. I've managed to miss the turn off to this one on my last couple of trips up the highway, but not today. Made it off the main drag and then headed over to GZ. A bit further than I'd expected, but we got there and quickly had the cache in hand and the log signed. TFTC gazza959
Grabbed with LuckyL10n as we made our way north to the Blue Mountains for a couple of days GCA caching.
No problems and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed.
Thanks for another cache gazza959...

On a quick trip to Sydney and have missed the turn off many times. Not today! An easy find once the app settled down. TFTC
I stopped off for a quick find with my daughter. It was nice to get off the highway. TFTC!
Each year I follow the Aust Solo Speedway Championships which are held over four meetings. This year those meetings are at Kurri Kurri nsw, Undera vic, Mildura vic, and Gillman sa.
It only seems sensible to do some geocaching along the way. It helps to break the driving and I get a lot of enjoyment from it.
Please excuse this generic log as there are too many to do them individually, but I certainly appreciate the dedicated work of all the COs in providing us with this great hobby.

A quick find on the return trip from goulburn with kingfisher_au. A easy detour was made from the hume. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
As we were heading north, it was an easy turn off the highway on to this very quiet road. The cache was found in the logical place and as it had almost stopped raining, it was easy enought to complete the necessary duties. That done, we continued along this lane to find another cache. Thanks go to gazza959 for taking us off the highway, even if for just a short time.
A quick find with the geokids today. Have to be a bit careful with the turn in off the highway thanks for the cache
