On a road trip from Opua. Stopping at a few caches along the way. Cache and log are in rough shape but still signable. Thanks.
On a caching journey up to the north with Supernannny and Net61 to find some caches. Many kilometres were driven over a few days and many caches were found. Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements. After dinner in Manganui we had time to collect a couple of caches before heading to our accommodation in Cable Bay. A nice quick find here. The lid of the mint tin has rusted off but we were still able to sign the log. TFTC
During our Big Road trip up north, and then back to Auckland, we stopped off here for just one more before going to our Accommodation in Cable Bay.Might need some maintenance soon....!
On our trip through New Zealand today we looked for geocaches near Mangonui. Luckily we found a nice spot to take a few home with us. Thank you very much to CO for laying this cache. With warm geocach greetings from the Netherlands
Auf unserer Reise in den Norden hier gehalten und den Cache gesucht und gefunden. Danke frs Verstecken.
We passed the day north of Paihia. First in Kerikeri and then in Mangonui. We were lucky with the weather, sun shine the whole day.
Stopped here on the way north. Small ants have taken home in the box. The lid is missing, but the log was dry today.
Thank you for the cache

Second look it helps when you are on the right side of the bridge . Quite a busy road is K.road.
To celebrate Vanessa's (Nessvab) 40th (which was during lockdown) we are trying to find 40 caches on our 40 hour adventure. We started this morning at 8am in Russell and heading North to Coopers Beach via roadside caches & Mangonui. We love sudoku (the 1st one was easy, 2nd one was challenging) and learnt about KenKen to solve another puzzle. Ending today's adventure with the night in Paihia.
4 of 40 - cute little bridge and easy find. TFGC

On our caching journey up to the north with EyeSpyBen to sort out a few more caches and a couple of series, many miles driven over many days and many caches found, not to many dnfs
but lovely weather, Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements

Decided to kayak around the island to grab the two caches at the bridges. Once ashore and up by the bridge this one was easily located. I think it is no longer an island as we could not find a way thru on the side closer to Manganui and had to back track.

Out for the weekend with Team SEAC for a weekend of fun. Thanks for placing this cache, sorry for the generic message.
With the mega being postponed a plan was hatched for some of the Team SEAC crew to head north for some fun. Today being Mr Stik-a-cranes birthday it was extra special.
Nope this was definitely not the K-Road we know from Auckland but it does have a cache so its a good road to stop in anyway.
Thanks for the cache.

Out with Team SEAC on a long weekend raid of the upper north island. A nice quick find as we passed. TFTC
Team SEAC has planned a raid of the very far North for Labour Weekend. We drove up to our forward base in Cable Bay caching all the way. All our logs were signed SEAC to save log paper

In the area today with other cachers from Auckland, logging in as Team 'SEAC' to save log book space.
This is a trip up north as a replacement to our annual caching trip/mega postponed due to Covid 19 this year.
Correct... not the K'road we know from Auckland...
Thanks for bring us here.

Away in the camper for a couple of weeks roaming around Northland doing TMGT's and anything else. Yeah, certainly not the K-Road we know from our 50 odd years living in Auckland. Mrs S found this one while Mr S turned the geocamper around.
Thanks nalawod.
Thanks nalawod.
Funny little find, sister tried so hard but mum found it lol. Photo cause we didn't have a pen. TFTC
Original log is full, dating back to 2016. Today I added new paper as new log and signed it (twice: on old and on new). Check out my photo of cache search at Unwell Rd! Not good! Nothing was damaged. Will try find today.
Today I explored Kerikeri including its Saturday market before moving on to enjoy my time on the Wairakau Track. TFTC
Hilz and I picked up a French hitchhiker for this leg of the journey, taking her to the Cape. Little did she realise this would be a day geocaching also.
Spending a few days in the far north. Visited Taupo Bay in the morning before a round of golf at Whangaroa Golf Club in the afternoon. Quick stop here on the way back to our holiday home. Daily cache sorted. All good. TFTC
Quick find but had difficulty finding a place to park so hubby took off down the road trying to find a place to turn around
Travelling from Kerikeri to Cape Reinga today. Looking for smileys and places to swim as it’s so hot. Was tempted by a swim here but decided to head on to the beach. TFTC
Well what a great Christmas New Years we have had so far it all started off in Friendly Feilding have Christmas lunch with the family then next day Boxing day off to Danniverke for a weeks holiday together so special first holiday with the Grandson hes only 7 months old, then we didn't know what or where to go next so ended up going to Napier and then across the Napier Taupo road got a cache and a trackable, not easy to stop all the time with a large caravan on the back. We finally got to Taupo and said where to now so we kept going and then we got a text message some plans next week had been transferred to the end of January so we could go away for an extra week. We ended up in Walton Gold course for two nights to finish off the Kiwi and another puzzle series got 46 caches in total some were traditionals as well, got that sorted and then headed off today decided we would do the Route 66 trail and Smilie trail so we ended up in Orewa so we are here for a few nights. We set off this morning and completed the Route 66 series had some lunch about 1.30pm then we decided to get some more traditionals in the area and then slowly head off to get some smilie series caches. once we were back to our accommodation had some tea we decided to go for a walk along the beach front and get a couple of caches. Decided to see how many caches we could get in whangarei before heading north. Also looking for our minutes for a minute challenge back in Wanganui, so hoping to achieve that by the end of our holiday too. A fantastic day for geocaching today just hoping that it doesnt get too hot. Arrived at gz today and was a quick find here today, thanks for the cache. signed the log and replaced exactly where we found it. thanks again number 15 of the day
Snagged and tagged on our way past. Cheers
Its Sunday - day nine -Kaikohe - Hokianga -Coopers Beach area with The Seagnoid and Zara today. Toby and William at Motor Doctors again!
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Ahh... K Road. Been there once. Now I guess I have have been there twice.
Day nine of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Today it is Opononi to Cooper's Beach. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Merry Christmas from the Seagnoid!

Northland Day 3: Today’s journey brought us from the beaches of Doubtless Bay, down through the East Coast Bays to Kerikeri, by the Bay of Islands. Today’s highlights were primarily sweeping views of the harbours and bays of the East Coast of Northland, and while it did threaten to rain, the storm never did arrive to where we were and we had lots and lots of sunshine. Good and productive day overall!
The following is the specific log for each cache:
Interesting bit of a story here, it is winterless up here, so I can see why JAFAs want in. The cache site was all quiet today, so I could sign in with no issue whatsoever. TFTC!

TFTC... geodad and I have teamed up under one username "Matini264nJaimee83" previously "Matini264" and "Jaimee83", so are re-logging any that we hadn't found together, before deactivating one account. Have notified all COs involved for permission
Signed as Matini264 (half the team)
Sorry for generic log, there are a few to do!

I was in Auckland last weekend but didn't go along the other K-Road either. We just stopped here and grabbed the cache as we passed by. I decided my son should do a dash up St Paul's before we headed home. I only went part way up as we didn't have time for the slow climb I needed. I'd been up before anyway. I did a good workout none-the-less. TFTC
Found on a dash to Coopers for a few items while staying at Hihi. Quick find in its little hiding place.Tftc.
