I am leaving the area and couldn't find anyone to adopt this cache, so I am archiving it.
Replaced the cache with one that has a waterproof log.
Also, the road works have moved down the road, so GZ is all clear.

We drove up to papakura today from hamilton on this beautiful Saturday morning to partake in the drive rush stunt course. It was a lot of fun! We managed to get a quick three caches while waiting for it to start. This one was a bit awkward to get to as there was road works and a timed red light sitting right where the cache was hidden. Had to wait for the timer to finally go so all the cars could go past and I could rush round and grab the cache before it stopped again! Signed and returned. Thank you for the cache!
This one turned out to be trickier than expected.
The road is temporarily only one lane with a traffic light installed right beside GZ which means retrieving the cache requires standing right beside the passenger window of anyone waiting at the lights.
We almost decided to give up and come back once the road was back to normal but thought we would give it a go. So we waited at the lights and as soon as they turned green pulled off the road a few metres past GZ, waited for the traffic to clear and then ran back to quickly grab the cache before any more turned up.
This was successful but there wasn't time to sign and return the log before another car arrived and by now the lights were red again so another queue began to build up.
We waited patiently in our car until the light was again green and repeated the quick sprint back to GZ to re-hide the cache before the next batch of traffic arrived.
We are pleased to say our mission was successful and we headed off into the sunset, the muggles none the wiser apart from a dog barking from a nearby property.
Our most difficult Grotty so far, but also the most satisfying. TFTC.

Heading through here this afternoon, stopping for a few caches along the way, cheers
Out caching for the day in the Ardmore area. I have found a number of GROTTY caches already, but they seem to be everywhere. Thanks Agazo.
I checked on the cache today and updated hint to coincide with the location of the cache.
Supposed to be heading south to tauranga but....All good here but not at ground level but who cares. Thanks for the placement.
Find number 4587. A busy road today. A few planes taking off as well. Even a guy mowing in the next property. Grabbed and signed while I watched the coming and goings. Thank you for the placement.
#6293. A busy morning but my plans changed in the afternoon after a meeting I was due to attend was cancelled. So making my way back slowly to the airport stopping here and there on the way to grab some caches. This was one of them. The traffic on these rural roads was outrageous later in the day. Couldn't believe how many cars there were, all driving bumper to bumper. Had to give up stopping at several caches as no where safe to pull over. This one was a nice easy park and grab. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks Agazo for the cache.
Jumped on my bike to do some trip in the area. Ended with 33km on the clock. Found some caches. This one was one of them. Nice and plesant. Thanks for placing them and maintaining..... The hint here! Uff I did not use
I was out this way for work today and needed to grab my daily find in order to keep my current geo-streak alive. So that is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. After parking as close as I could, I made my way to GZ on foot... luckily the road was quiet at this time and I made a nice and easy find. I took the cache back to the car to sign, and then once the coast was clear I put it back in its spot all ready for the next finder. So thank you once again Agazo for setting up all of your caches. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
thanks for the nice wee hide found with abcdf4 today while droping some zephyr parts to a fix it place.and decide to kill some caches to while we where up hear.
Had headed to Papakura to get some veggies so decided to take a little detour on the way home to pick up some caches.
Parked up nice and close and spotted it as we approached.
Signed log and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache.

With an afternoon start to the work day down Manukau way I thought I would take the scenic route this morning and find some hides. With a grim sounding weather forecast the focus was on park and grabs. Though, as it turns out, I didn't have much in the way of weather issues during my two hour, or so, finding stint. I parked up, crossed the road and made an instant find. Cache is pretty obvious, but I doubt anyone but cachers will walk past here. Cheers for the cache placement!
We set out to collect 18 caches in Grottyland this afternoon - and in fact all but two caches we found were from the GROTTY series.
Grotty 84 has one of the longest hints we've ever seen. Fortunately it made sense to us, and the hide was confirmed when we parked up near GZ. Quick find thanks.

Been a while since I've done a GROTTY but as luck would have it we were in the right area for one today. Spotted on approach as I crossed the road but can't imagine anyone is going to be walking by anytime soon who isn't looking for a cache. TFTC
Thanks for moving the cache away from the wasp nest, there are still a few flying about but not enough to cause trouble. Nice quick find. TFTC
Hunting for souvenirs (Planetary Pursuit) the second... Did quite some GROTTY caches today. Easy-peasy. It almost jumped on me.
Found together with Greenkiwikids and signed as "Team Piraten!" TFTC

Hunting for souvenirs for the Planetary Pursuit I found this cache together with Piratenschatzsucher!. THANKYOU!
Was in the area this morning picking up a couple of GROTTY caches before work and this was the last. Nice quick find but have never been out this way before so gonna have to come back and visit the airfield in the daytime. TFTC
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
In the afternoon I made a Little tour together with my hostkid to collect some Caches around the Ardmore airpot.
That one was the first one and we could find the Cache without any Camouflage on the ground so we put it back under the gutter.
Thanks for hiding!

Nice quick park and grab. Have found heaps of these.... need to check them out. TFTC
Not much time to cache at present so taking the chance for a smilie today. A nice quick find. TFTC
I located the cache quickly but had trouble keeping my mind on the job because they were having stunt training in cars. Handbrake slides and sliding in the water. It looked like fun. I hasten to add it was in a controlled environment. Mind back on the job and log signed returned and onward to the next. TFTC
Had a free day in hand between a stressful week and the In Laws 80th tomorrow followed by a Expo next week, so this was a chance to grab a few caches that have been sitting there far too long.
So in the company of Mr MCC at 5.30am and setting off we headed north for a morning (only having leave passes to mid-afternoon) to see what we could find in the area before the muggles were up and about and we needed to locate caches in slightly less muggle intensive areas.
Today we managed a total of sixty five finds and only 2 DNF's. Not bad considering we were back home by 2.30pm.
A big thanks you to all the CO's for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches. We had a great day with lots of laughs and fun
Sorry for the repetitive logs. Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Out with Cat & Dragons on a caching finding mission, what was the clue again?, never mind the cache is here!
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is three. Thanks for replacing the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.
Can't say this place is grotty, nice view to the runway, several little aircraft have come and gone, it's late in the afternoon and I still have several more caches I want to get. Cheers Ron.
This one must have vamoosed when they did some reconstruction here. I have replaced it with a new cache.
Having the alarm go off reminding me that today was a dot day sent me searching for caches to fit the bill... thinking that I might get a chance to locate a cache during the day, had some further away than this one, but alas, no opportunity arose , so this one was a quick find after the kids were sorted to bed...
Had a couple of cars pass whilst at GZ but managed to remain undetected....

A nice quick park 'n grab while taking a scenic drive through the country this evening - TFTC!
Thought we would head out this way and grab a few caches for the day, tackling mostly GROTTY finds, but also whatever else popped up along the way. Another quick park and grab for the day, thanks for the hide.
A quick and easy find for me today. With my landmark 5000th coming up I am really grateful for these as they are helping rack up the total quickly. TFTC
A favourite for the series.

On the road for second day in a row to pick up a few more caches in our quest to improve our "find stats" for 2016!
A quick find.

There was quite a bit of vehicular activity going on across the road. A defensive driving course perhaps? No one taking any notice of me though. Found cache after a bit of a look around. TFTC, Biggles.
I was in the area heading to a fireworks party so decided to pick up a few Grotty Caches on the way This was a quick find at GZ and the kids loved watching the planes come and go... we even saw a cool old Bi-plane take off TFTC!
Was at home injured (what else is new? ) but knew I needed a cache today for a souvenir, and as this one is close to home and I knew it would be a quick park & grab, I decided that this would be just the find I needed.
Parked just along from it, and wandered (I mean hobbled) to where I thought GZ would be. Turned out I had picked the wrong end and had to hobble a bit further. Teach me not to look at the cache page properly.
Upon reaching the correct spot, I had to allow a minute or two for half the cars in Ardmore to drive past before making the find.
Log signed, and back to the car I hobbled..... whew, mission complete!!!
Thanks for the convenient placement, Agazo!

Found today en route to Maraetai taking the whippersnappers out to the beach for the morning. TFTC
TFTC. After listening to the thunder rolling for an hour & a half the skies finally opened & soaked me......but I found it
We went on a trip out to Takanini area to find a specific cache, so while out there we went out towards Ardmore & found a lot of Grotty caches as well.
Thanks for placing this cache Agazo
Up for an extended weekend with tmann421 and EK.spygirl enjoying some of the local attractions and collecting a few caches along the way. A nice quick find for us here. TFTC and the series.
On holiday with tmann421 and Just-Lookin. Having fun seeing lots of new things and geocaching along the way. TFTC
Cache # 999 on our one year geocaching anniversary. This one is probably fitting as we have found many Grottys along the way . We headed out for the last two with the weather looking very bleak; cache was found without too much traffic around. TFTC.
Found ... decided to grab a quick cache on the way to work this morning ... easier than expected, as it was easily spotted as I walked up to it, but then having done so many of these caches, had a fair idea of what I was looking for ... log filled in & cache replaced ... fills in another hole on my calendar ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,417 for us.
8.15am - We have been caching in Auckland for awhile. Up this weekend to add event numbers to our challenge we are working on. Spotted a huge number of grotty caches so thought we would try and tick off as many of this series. Amazed and annoyed as to how much rubbish is dumped around this region. Residents should take a bit more pride around the area. Most caches were quickly found with a trend in hiding locations. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Visiting Auckland for the purpose of attending an event today... It's been a while since we were last here, and it looks like we have a lot of work to do.
From the outset, we unintentionally began picking up Grotty caches. Before we knew it, we were up to our eyeballs in it... While most caches were quick finds, visiting each location took its toll... We have seen some of the most appalling, filth laden sites in South Auckland. The joy of receiving a smiley is counterbalanced with the need to erase ones' memory of the things we've seen. We pity any caching visitors who may think New Zealand is clean and green. Their perception of this country will be shot to ribbons on this trail...
One of the more pleasant Grotty ground zones... Anyway, we came for a smile and we succeeded... TFTC.

Was armpit deep in spreadsheets at work when this cache was published, so didn't give it much thought and carried on working, later as I headed home in the rain I decided to check if anyone had found the cache and was surprised to see that no one had claimed it with a found log as yet. GZ was kind of on the way home and with MrNZT out of town at the moment I resolved to battle the Friday afternoon traffic and take a slight detour to swing by this cache. happily the rain stopped when I got to GZ and was quick to find the cache and a blank log. TFTC and another (FTF) for us! BTW spreadsheets were only at waist deep when I left for the afternoon, so progress and success on that front as well!!
