Lovely reunion with Domsky, Snickersallan and Tenkae (Team TEDS ️). Signed the logs for the challenge cache in the area, found some other caches nearby and a suitable lunch at the Full Moon Restaurant for our lunacy.
Tried looking for this multi-DNFs. No cache here. Lots of broken glass and rubbish, not really a playground. No wonder there's no favourite point. A CITO event might be better than a traditional.

Extremely dangerous ️. Now for a long wait at the hospital to get glass out of hand.
Cache owner might need to check the cache!

The amount of rubbish etc here makes this a dangerous place for a cache, found tree but no cache
An afternoon bike ride in the area made me have a quick stop and find here.
Amazing how much rubbish and broken glass in on this slope.

Thanks to my ever willing geohubby for scrambling up the Slippery Slope to retrieve the cache.
I stayed lower down the hill while D.D went to make the find. The map wouldn't stay still to we could never figure out it we were on top of it, 4m past it, or had to climb higher!
Found with trickyt today. Trying out his new mode of transport. Had a little trouble here and had almost given up. Tried the obvious spot with no luck. lets have another look while retreating back to the transport. Well that is some quite tricky hide. All good with your cache.

I have a memory of being here before some time back. Obviously without success. Today with Stairman1 we worked our way up to the top checking about all the trees. Had started back down ready to give it a dnf when Stairman1 spotted it. Thanks FunkyMonkeyz
No luck for us three here today. Loads of broken glass, as advertised. Thanks anyway, FunkyMonkeyz.
Very good hiding spot when out with 70 grandma and she fell down the hill been in hospital for 4 hours but worth it. We did leave in till we found it. Grandma wasn’t happy that geo when before her #geolife people started yelling out us to help grandma but we would listen they had to call the ambulance for her. We meet her in hospital after the geo #geobeforegrandma can be a little slippery I think I’m not getting her inheritance #yolo
Very fun find, make sure to wear good shoes or you might fall down the hill like my friend did!
I unsuccessfully searched for this cache a few years ago and as I was driving past it again today, I decided to have another attempt.
15 minutes of slipping, sliding and struggling and I finally located the cache. Then it was a slide to get back down.

Went searching for this one with Mr9 and the geo-dog but to no avail. GZ is in an area I usually wouldn't let Mr9 explore at this time of year so we were a little nervous about snakes (which we didn't see) and spiders (which we did).
#4891 [12:18] found with blech today during waiting for take-away lunch thanks, my flip flops can confirm it's slippery slope
I was out today to get a cache to keep my streak alive.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. FunkyMonkeyz TFTC *471* streak. *2817* Finds

Grabbing some caches here for leap-day numbers.
First I found an I pad cover that looked like the lid of a larger container. Then I found the pet-preform
All good here
Thank you for hiding this one

Nice easy find. Out here in Sandgate for a walk along to waterfront. Nice breazy day and kites. Lovely
Today I decided to head out by myself to clean up a bit of green around the Sandgate/Shorncliffe area.
With today looking like a nice overcast day, it was the perfect day for caching. So off I went armed with my trusty umbrella and giant water bottle, I hit the paths and tracks in search of some caches.
It was a great afternoon out, not too hot, not too cold. Perfection I must say. All in all a great day to be outdoors.

Container was full of water and all the log sheets were totally sodden. Have placed a preform in cache spot as well so at least there is a usable log to sign.
Found this one in late June and forgot to log! Took the kid and I a little while to find it!
Quick easy find this morning. Great view - but it might make the Lorax sad!
Log is wet - I’ve replaced the plastic bag so hopefully the replacement log stays nice and dry.
TB visit
Thanks for taking me here!

Caution to the amount of broken glass in the area
Cache was wet , open and had obviously been tampered with. No tb’s in cache as suggested.

Out with Haltija exploring Brisbane after a conference. The container is a little old and in need of some love and the log is a little damp. Otherwise fun cache. Thanks.
Boy that sure *is* a slippery slope!
Thanks to the good hint we knew where to look. All is ok here.
Thanks for the cache FunkyMonkeyz. That was a bit of fun.

Cache was very visible today so tried to cover it up a bit more. The area is not very child friendly, so suggest leaving kids in the car as there are many glass shards as well as bottles around. It was not too steep a climb and we found it pretty easily.
Myself and others DNF. As the name suggests it’s a slippery slope, rough underfoot, wear enclosed shoes and be careful. We won’t be going back.
Had a decent day caching despite the rain with Moneydork and Oddiewan. We had some thrills and some laughs and definitely some smiles. TFTC
Caching with Semik and $dork on a not so raining BRISBANE day. Nice find log very wet

Found it after a drunken night out at the full moon. Tftc. No pen will be back to sign log.
Needed to find a traditional to fill in my calendar for a challenge today. I parked up ,walked down too far then walked up too far to a tree i thought looked like the obvious hiding spot but it wasnt. Walked a little bit down and spotted the cache. Container was a little wet inside so i dryed it out. Log book is just a little wet but was able to still write my name. I came prepared with a zip lock bag and log book that i popped in this cache . Only had an almost slip a couple of times . Lucky it was dry today otherwise it would be a very slippery slope. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy.
Found today but the Cache container was very wet.
The log book was completely water logged beyond being able to just dry it out.
I won’t post a needs maintenance log because I know how painful they are.

fairly easy find, cache is soaking wet and the area is covered in rubbish and broken glass, not really suitable for a cache.
Watch out for broken glass. Container has water at the bottom and the log is soaked. Took tb. Tftc.
Use to go to the church on the corner as kids and where I met my beautiful wife when in our teens, so this find brought back a lot of memories.
Had a container for our geo-treasures on us, so we replaced the broken container with ours, so it should protect the log and contents now. TFTC.

Decided to try this one after dropping the kids off and having 30 opening. I had briefly looked for this one in the past but only had 10 mins then Today widened my search and bingo up popped a cache. TFTC note cache is still in same poor condition as indicated in other logs
With the hiking boots on,
this slope presented no problems
An easy cache find after a short stroll.
That cache container needs a new lid though !!
It is half hole [:o]

My little lad had been playing at his friend's home, but at some point there was some disagreement about what games to play and how to play them, and next thing he was reduced to tears. This was the cue for a time-out so that the kids could reset and feel happy about life again.
This was also a good excuse for me to look for a few caches in the area because we would be on our way back to Sydney the following day, and I had not yet had a chance to make a find around here.
Thus, with a little boy backing me up we stopped here at the little green patch and I checked out where the cache might be located. The name certainly gives a good indication, and I was wondering whether it would be better to approach this one from below, rather than from above where we now stood. Eventually, I opted to try from above and made my way down the slippery slope. It wasn't really a problem, and soon I spotted the container.
Alas, the lid is severely cracked and will not provide any protection from the rain. Thus, a quick heads-up about a bit of maintenance that would be in order.
Once the log was signed and everything put back, I made my way up the hill again so that we could continue our excursion to the jetty.
Note that the vegetation in this area is protected (photo taken elsewhere, but the sign is the same), so tread lightly when searching for the cache.

This was the first cache on a long walk today and I ended up with 36 finds and one DNF in this lovely part of the world. All the bottles here were not quite so lovely but nice to see these large Moreton Bay Ash trees holding on here on the slippery slope. After a bit of a bee dance I found it. The lid is cracked so it will be full of water next time it rains!
Thanks FunkyMonkeyz

Found it but cracked and water damaged. The trackbles are gone too. Sorry I don’t have a spare container
Today I headed out to Shorncliffe to get some caches which have unique attributes to help me towards qualifying for some of the new stats hound challenges. This cache didn't have said attributes, but was close to some that did. I have found a cache near here in the past so I knew the area. I approached from the bottom, got the where my GPS said GZ was and found broken glass...looked at the cache size, oh a regular, can't be here. Pulled myself up to where it looked like a cache might be hidden, but nope. Widened my search area and spied it on the way down. Relieved to find it after that hide. There is rather a lot of broken (and unbroken) glass in this area . TFTC
Yay! We regained some confidence after a terrible fail along the foreshore finding nothing. This little beauty popped its head up.
We need some numbers for a milestone and the sun was shining so Mrs B and I left the kids at home and headed to Sandgate to find a few caches. Unfortunately, the sun had gone by the time we finished but we still enjoyed a morning without the kids.
This was our first stop for the day and a quick easy find

Out with Selva Girls today clearing areas and claiming smilies. I had found the cache which was in this spot previously, and I have to say I enjoyed the scramble about as much this time as I did the last. Broken glass and hidden bottles, despite being in the description do not make for a very safe gz in my opinion, however I guess you can fall out of tree looking for a cache too, so live and let live. Happily this container was lower down and easier to find than its predecessor so it took much less time to make the find and add my name. Thanks for the challenge and the cache FunkyMonkeyz.
As I was applying sunscreen and popping on my trainers in the car, He-Squirrel wandered down the slope towards the presumed target. By the time I joined him he felt as though he’d completed an exhaustive search, but wanted to try searching for it from the bottom up...We’re going to have to return on another day though because we took a wrong turn, so began collecting the caches on our new trajectory.
Worked from the bottom up GPS was all over the place. But Mrs canuck spotted this one on the way down. TFTC
Spent a long time looking for this one with no luck. I'd recommend not looking for this cache with the amount of broken glass on the hill. I slipped several times, on my last fall I slid onto broken glass and cut my leg in 3 places. Maybe if the CO could move the cache to a different area where no broken glass is? It's very dangerous. Did approach it from the bottom but could not find.

Out for a loop on the bike and a coffee stop nearby. I've ridden past this so many times so it was time to cross this one off the list.
Second last day in the Clontarf for a while, so converting a few more smilies across Bramble Bay. Attempted earlier today from the top, but decided it would have to be better from the bottom, so came back and tried again. Mr D went up, but still no joy.
Thanks FunkyMonkyz for the hide, but no joy today,

Great to be out caching and this was one we targetted and found. Thanks to FunkyMonkeyz for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Left trackable and took trackable but not the one listed on the cache page it was one marked as missing.
Awesome cache! Def the worst of slopes with that much glass on there.
Tracker bug left! Happy hunting!

We attempted this one from the bottom, as we thought it may be easier this way. There sure is a lot of broken glass here. Looks like people really like to throw things over the edge and even saw a pair of gold slippers. We narrowed the search down to couple of likely spots, and pretty soon had the geocache in our hands which is a good size!
Thanks for hitting us this way and for the geocache. We are loving our meander around Shorncliffe and Sandgate today.
