A weekend in Tauranga with rattll, pulled in here to do some shopping, as new caching shoes are required. Whaddayaknow, there's some caches here! By chance, we'd parked the campervan right beside GZ, so, once our shopping was complete, I nipped out to get this one. Soon spotted the container, but no log inside. A quick rummage in our caching supplies in the van produced a waterproof log sheet, which I signed, and returned the cache as found. Tftc!
Working locally for a couple of days and was here for lunch so thought it would be rude not to attempt this one.Took me way longer than it should have as I suspected a different hide.... glad to find this and sign then log.TFTC
Mission Accomplished! "**Another hidden gem found! Thanks for the adventure and the awesome hide. Logging this find and moving on to the next.
Found this earlier with a friend after getting out nails done and didnt log it. Was a cool find!
Thought this was going to be a quick park and grab, but alas - foiled by muggles! Spotted this one as I walked up to it, but due to the muggles loading up their groceries into their car nearby I had to wait it out. Then they stood around and had a chat and a smoke and something to eat. In the end, I waited until they were pretty engrossed in their conversation and went for the retrieve. Quickly signed and returned whilst sitting on the nearby railings - not too comfy I tell ya. Anyway, nice cache - I always love these types. TFTC!
Quick park and grab with Kre8ive, high muggle area on Waitangi Day but managed to slip in and out quickly
A quick find while we were in the area, completing a ad lab and having lunch.Day 3 of The Wellington Anniversary Weekend tour with Mr-Mcgoo, Itchyfeet2020, TwigNZ. We are targeting specific caches -oldies, puzzles we have solved and ones with a D/T of 2.5+/2.5+ for the [GC30AD8](http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC30AD8) DGSC Challenge (West Coast) challenge. Of course, there will be days of laughter, no doubt at my expense ??????.During our time here, all found caches were signed as MINT, regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us have found it previously, or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Mc Jandals.
Having taken Friday off as leave, and with Monday being Wellington Anniversary, I am making the most of a 4-day weekend by spending it with friends in the Waikato in order to try to target a few specific caches up here and otherwise boost my numbers for January. Our crew consists of Mr-Mcgoo, Itchyfeet2020, NZ_B and myself TwigNZ, and so to save space on logs we simply signed our finds today with either MINT or Team MINT depending on log size.Today is day 3, and just like the previous 2 day there was a great deal of driving to a lot of beautiful places which make me want to come back and spend a lot more time at. One of the joys of geocaching for me is that I get to see places that I wouldn't have thought to visit otherwise, but often you just get a 'taste' of a place because you're rushing off to get another cache somewhere.I can't say that this was a beautiful location, but it had food available, and cold drinks, and a place to sit down and enjoy them. It also had a couple of caches for us to do, of which this was one.A quick find here. No issues to report here and we soon had our team name entered before the whole thing was replaced as found. Thanks for setting this one up.
Team MINT (Mr-Mcgoo, Itchyfeet2020, NZ_B & TwigNZ) are up in the central north exploring. We came up to Tauranga for a oldie in the Minden Reserve and then popped in here for the AL and trad. TFTC.
I check on this regularly as I often work nearby. Checked again yesterday and its definitely still there.
Navigator was glitching out.But we still had a good look around. But the more we looked, the hotter it got.Maybe next time
As is tradition we had to make our stop here for Patrick's pies, then walked over with pie in hand to check out this cache. Was a bit busy just before lunch so had to give up as the day was only getting hotter
A quick stop for food before heading to the mount. Had a good look for this while trying to stay stealthy. Had to give up the search to continue towards our destination
Had to stop off for some food so thought why not, let’s try find this little buggah, needless to say the rain kept me on my toes but after a good scan managed to find and log. Tftc
On the way back from the Falls we stopped off here for some groceries and retail therapy for mrs c. I'd noted there was an Ad Lab sequence and a Trad nearby so 7 caches in 15 minutes was a Welcome Hall. Walked the short distance to GZ and soon spotted the hide and carefully signed the log and replaced as found. Variation from a Mall LPC, nice.
After a drive up we headed to Mclaren Falls for our fist port of call prior to checking into the bach. Glad we did as this new to us place was awesome and a nice place to have lunch too. A drizzly walk along the track but nice to be here and caching after a few weeks with no finds.
The weekend is here and us capperz's are heading to the Mount for a 3 day weekend, travelling up early on Friday morning, and back home again on Friday. Not too many cache plans; a first trip to McLaren Falls, some new stuff at the Mount and a trip to Tauranga with a Wherigo in the sights. A few Ad Labs had the numbers ticking over and a few recent FPs have boosted my chances of knocking off this months Planetary Museum Maze, thingy. Thanks to all BoP cache owners for your hides. The weather was distinctly average, scenery great as always anywhere both new and familiar.

Pleasantly surprised when mr Pinocchio found this one for me. Great camo, TFTC
Log replaced. Plastic bag had been ripped off. Have sat log in cache. Please replace like so until I can come back with glue etc
We were doing some work nearby so arrived a little early and parked up close to gz, where we were able to watch until the coast was clear, then dash out to make the grab.
Thanks for putting this here. It blends in well with its surroundings!

Was doing the adventure lab in the area, so thought I would pop and get this one too. Didn't take too long to locate this one. TFTC
A short-notice work trip to Tauranga provided some fertile caching opportunities close to work.
So, whilst popping out for lunch, I took the opportunity to grab a few nearby.
Despite being the local retail epicentre, things were all quite quiet here this lunchtime.
I quickly found the likely host and proceeded to dismantle bits in my search for the cache. Nada!
But, oh, could that be it? Yes, it was easier than I’d made it.
Thanks Mc Jandals

This one surprised jägersmum as she hadn't seen this type before. I spotted it straight away do just ppinted her in thd right direction. TFTC!
Very busy area for the last day of the year shopping . Able to get in and out at a quite time. TFTC
I saw an opportunity to take my nieces on a quick cache hunt while visiting the mall. We happily made a quick find here. Tftc.
I managed to go the long way to this cache (way too many roundabouts and lane changes required) but we got there in the end. B found the cache while I got my coffee. TFTC McJandals!
Stopped in over here to replace Ezratar's soaked shoes from the McLauren Falls waterfall walk and then had some lunch at a cafe nearby. Decided to go search for this one whilst the Fairy half had a look at the shops nearby. Searched the wrong area first and then widened our search and quickly spotted the container (which we've now seen many of). Ezratar was still fascinated by it. Thanks for the cache.
Had found a similar one in the past so quick find. Not too busy in this part of the car park. Tftc
Neat little hide. Felt super bad for disturbing a cute lil jumpy spider who decided to make the cache its home though.
Have tried this one before but way too many people in the carpark to successfully scout it out.
This time was a breeze. Really like the simpleness of the cache.
TFTC.

What a brilliant cache! Took a while as GPS was a bit slow. Almost gave up and then there it was ! Loved it thanks
Passing through Tauranga and had to stop at Torpedo7 for some bike tools. Decided to park up nearby and collect as many of the local caches as we could. Nice easy cycle trails that took us in a large loop. This was the first find while Mrs Rubbishparty got some extra food for the picnic. Thanks
Well we found ourselves here in plan B; having been distracted from a riverside walk by about 100 dogs and owners at the scene of our intended walk. Then it started drizzling as well, so it was an easy decision to come shopping first! The carpark was packed, but surprisingly clear of people in this corner, so we could search to our heart's content. Well spotted by our hero, despite the great camo. Cache is all good. TFTC
Had been here a few times but didn’t look properly. I remember seeing one familiar and sure enough I had found it. Jumped back in my car to sign, just to realise I didn’t have a pen, so I shot into paknsave to get one because I wasn’t leaving until I signed the log. Cool find!
Convenient location for us. Awsome cache, first one of this type of hide we have found. Blew the kids mind hahaha Hubby was amazed too lol #NewbieFeels
Very cleverly hiding in plain sight! We had to wait for some muggles to finish loading things into the car, and then we were able to sign the log. A fave from us! TFTC
Out hunting with my daughter while my son is at the movies with his friends. Very tricky one to search for with all the muggles but eventually my daughter found it. Nice hide. TFTC
We had a very rare child free weekend so we booked a motel and spent the weekend exploring and caching in the area. We had been told that nearby here was some great places to try for dinner and we were not disappointed. After dinner we drove around the carpark to find this cache, we drove back and forth a bit (our own Tauranga Crossing) until we locked in the location, then we made the find.
We are getting better at these ones and found this one quickly. Trying to be stealthy with a car park full of muggles
Down from Whangarei to do a few days caching in Tauranga and trying to pick up as many of the solved puzzles as possible from my list. The weather today had turned for the worse, so there wasn't going to be much caching happening today.
That suited Mrs 0B8 fine as it meant she could explore a shopping mall or two instead. After the shopping duties were taken care of, the rain had eased off a bit, so I sneaked in a detour to this one on our way back to our accommodation. But wait, it's another shopping centre. Oh well, looks like tomorrow's first destination is sorted.
A nice quick find here, signed log back in the cache mobile and then replaced safe and secure as found.

Tricky! And fun! We looked for a couple of minutes in the wrong spot. About to give up and spotted it when we headed to the supermarket. TFTC
I was looking for something to kill some time while my wife was shopping and this was perfect. I grabbed my sons and we went for a walk to this nice hide. I've seen others of this type before so I spotted it as we approached however there were a few muggles about so wandered by waited for them to move along then went back for it. Thanks for the distraction.
Excellent spot. A bit of a challenge when the landscape has changed so much. Log book is pretty full now and a bit damp.
Find 85. An unexpected trip to the supermarket with parking oh so close to GZ we couldn’t resist. We approached with eyes wide open and with confidence now that we are becoming educated to MC Jandals hides. Finally we are one of those people that can say - a quick park and grab! Thanks MC Jandals we really enjoy your caches
