### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there BastiansQuest,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Out for a few caches and this was the first for the day. Find quickly with good coords but as others have said there's no lid.
Thanks BastiansQuest for the cache

A quick find, but maintenance is needed. There is no lid to the cache and the log is a soggy mess at the bottom of the container.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find.

Given current restrictions I set my sights on picking up this and the multi in the series today. The restrictions both work for and against me when I focus on the northern suburbs. On the one hand I've only got a smattering of accessible multis left in my 15km zone. On the other, lighter traffic means the drive from the southern suburbs is almost pleasurable.
Quick find at GZ and clue for the puzzle noted.

@4.20pm thanks for getting us out of the house on this long day of home schooling. Cheers
I have been trying to catch up on my logs during the current Covid lockdown so this log is a tiny bit late. I dropped by this cache today after visiting a friend who lives close by. I parked in Scotia St near the entrance to the lane and then wandered down the lane to GZ. Thanks to the spot-on co-ords I found the cache after a brief search and signed the log at 4:40 pm. TNLN but I did remember to jot down the clue to the final cache, Alley Rats - 4.
Thanks BastiansQuest for the well-hidden cache and for showing me this interesting lane.

Nice to collect the second one in this lane. Rat free from what we could see but a few barking dogs!!
A very quiet alley. Not much to say about it really ...will be back to finish the series later. Tftc
Love this alleyway. We met several curious kids peering over back fences and told them we were looking for treasure. Found it!
It was very fun to find and we think it was very creative that there was a magnet
Recognising the need for exercise while employing social distancing in line with current health directives, I figured that a couple of these along this lonely lane might fit the bill perfectly. This was first and once at GZ, I was soon signing the log at 12:50.
TNLNSL noted clue and a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks BastiansQuest.

There's some good alley fruit potentials here: olives, figs, passion fruits, and lemons. A true alley rat would be in heaven. These alleys remind me of the alleys in Ascot Vale, the old bluestones, narrow, and lots of old established trees overhanging. An easy find, I used the hint as the kiddo muggle traffic had increased and I needed to be fast to avoid them! Thanks for this series Bastians Quest!
Put in a new logbook as other was full. Thanks for letting me know, xook.
All good with cache.
All good with cache.
Found a toy stuffed into container and lid almost twisted off with the persons attempt to get item in there. Have fixed up and put back.
Best people put appropriately sized swag into containers. Small ones like this don't have room for anything except the log book.
Cheers
