I'm working in the area for a few weeks and looking forward to collecting lots of caches in this region.
Looking forward to collecting a few of BB's TS caches today, but I detoured slightly to pick this one up along the way.
This one was quite an easy find, I was preparing for something more difficult.

A fairly quick find here while on my way to Windsor this afternoon. It took longer than it should have though, because I was looking for a hiding spot that would fit a small container. Fortunately, however, the coords are good and so it didn't take long to spot a mint tin (which is a micro size) tucked away there.

Thanks for the hide kevinewer.

We took a drive out to the Hawkesbury River so that we could take a trip over the river on the ferry. This was something my little boy had wanted to do the last time we had been in the area and had seen the ferry. Alas, at that point we ran out of time and couldn't make a crossing.

Shortly after we parked nearby another car pulled up and parked in the road opposite GZ. I was wondering whether this might be another cacher, so I waited to see what would ensue. After a few minutes the car drove off again, leaving the coast clear for a quick find.

Streak Day #1284 - Needed an easy one today after being in the city yesterday resulting blisters on my feet so park and grab was in order. Stopped by here and co ords were off but the hint had assisted in where to look, so as soon as i walked over to the real GZ i spotted it. TFTC

Pulled up just past GZ. Looked around and around and looked behind the obvious. Hmm back to the car and looked at past logs and KRS's co- ords. Back near where i was looking... just about to leave and spotted it. Phew. Signed log and had to wait for muggles walking past. Returned where found TFTC

There was no problem finding this cache after carefully reading all the available information. The area was free of muggles and it was a quick and easy find. Our name was added to the log and all was put back where it had been found. Thanks to Cruiseforever for putting this cache into play.

After having another car service done early enough to get away and find some caches, i traveled all the way up here for the third day in a row.
Made a quick find while no one could be seen.

#3471 (7 of 11 today)

For this afternoon's caching, I decided to aim myself up Old Windsor Road and clean up the odd unfound cache sitting in a sea of smileys.
A few of the caches cleaned up were previous DNFs.
In the end I went for 11 caches and found all of them. HUZZAH!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked a hundred metres away or so and wandered to GZ. My iPhone put me in one area, but I spotted nothing. So I cast my gaze around. Hmmm, a bit far away but... CIH!

Took into the shade to complete signing duties, then back for the replace.

24/10/16. 12:53 PM. Cache #4332.
2nd of 4 finds (& 2 DNFs) this afternoon - Vineyard, Mulgrave, Clarendon & Richmond.

This new cache was my only non-Train-Spotter of the afternoon. Where my wife went to HS in the 80s. I came here after finally getting a smiley at "Train Spotter - Standard Gauge". Checked a couple of places and then looked at old logs; Canary's gave me the container and so with the hint it didn't take me too long. I get S.117 E.895 here. Signed, replaced; off to "Train Spotter - 5881 Windsor Class Loco". TFTC.

We didn't plan our drive today, we just had a general idea that there were new (to us) caches in the Hawkesbury area. When we got to Yarramundi, I looked at my unfound caches on the GPS and scribbled out a list of ones I thought we could look for. When I saw this one on the list, I didn't recognise the name, and had no idea which direction it was in. So I threw it on the list anyway, just in case it was in the right direction.

After a pleasant drive and five finds, we headed towards Windsor so that I could find the one at the paddle wheel. Bikerbuddy was navigating, and saw that this one wasn't too far out of our way. So we detoured to find it.

This time when we saw 'small' as the size we guessed it would be another micro, so it took us less time to find than the last one did.

We looked around after we'd found the cache and realised we were opposite Windsor High. I've been here a few times for eisteddfods, but have always driven in from the other side. I didn't recognise it from this side Smile

Thanks Smile

This was my last cache for the day, caching with Toriaz in this region after attending Webguy's event in Blaxland earlier on. We almost didn't come to this cache as it was slightly out of our way on our way home. But since Toriaz wanted to find another cache in Windsor I'd previously found, I suggested this wasn't too much of a detour. It wasn't. And an easy find. Thanks

Heading out for a day of caching after having spent the night camping at Cattai National Park. This one was a quick find (how often don't you say that...). Signed the log and continued on with our hunt.

15-Oct-16
On my first lap I couldn't find the cache as I was looking for a small. I tried further afield but the logs didn't mention bad coords. So I return to the spot that matched the hint and found a mint tin.

After finishing Pathology and taking a walk around Windsor for my morning exercise I took a drive around the area for three park and grabs that were released yesterday.
Arrived close to GZ and just as I was about to commence a search a car with muggles parked in the no parking area nearby. I waited them out and once they moved on I wandered over to GZ and a quick find was made. Replaced as found once the log was signed. tftc

Joint FTF 5.54pm with JJCC

With the release of some local caches this afternoon we meet up with JJCC in the nearby bus bay...luckily it was muggle free at the time of our visit. Searching around we couldn't see anything obvious so widened the search area. Retracing our steps we spotted something a little smaller than expected but realised that it was the cache container. With cache in hand we both signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in excellent condition.

The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust) and Vanlith The Youngling.

I was at the hairdresser so it was a race from Blacktown to try to beat the local cachers for a FTF but I missed it by 20 mins. I should have stayed longer and let my hairdresser blow dry my hair after all. SL #2723 on streak day #1559 TFTC

Joint FTF 5.54pm

Noticed a few caches released so we decided to go and have a look met up with Team Merlin. Parking nearby and walked to GZ. Searching the area initally not spotting anything until the cache container was sited. With cache in hand we both signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in excellent condition.
