Thanks again Boxhill for the Xmas get together. Its a fine venue for cachers to gather, and the food is always reliable. Nice to see everyone, even if we haven't done many caches lately!

Me and the two geokids should be able to make it today.

Hopefully we (2 or 3 of us) will get the chance to call in, though it may be a park and grab, depending on the other family activities already planned.

I arrived in time to see CO arrive followed by sveral others. Great to catch up with a few folk and chat about certain caches and caching tools. Imparted a few clues on my simpler puzzles.

This would be our least ever time wise event. We're passing by and managed to catch up, albeit briefly, with a few familiar faces. Next year

Cache # 3,460 - another lovely gathering. Happened to be First to Event (with Astro Hunter and Violet Butterfly) beating the CO by a good 20 minutes, and the next arrival by at least 5. Thanks to the CO for organising. Met some new folks and of course caught up with older ones. Swapped 4 TBs. Have a Merry Christmas all!

#3163. A late log as I was up in Auckland for the week and didn't have my laptop with me. My third Christmas bunfight event. This is such a great venue with good food and a nice cold ale to enjoy. What a full house today. So many people I only had time to say hello to briefly. Nice to catch up with a number of the regulars and also to meet a few recent members. Good to share some caching yarns and hopefully glean a bit of a hint on those troubling caches that we all encounter. Thanks so much for organising Geoff. One trackable uplifted today.

It was great to see such a terrific turnout. I consider it to be a perfect venue for this type of gathering. I was happy to leave with a few tips about caches that have been causing me some consternation. I took the Community Volunteer Travel Tag that I plan to leave in a cache in the Manawatu area.

WOW another year and another Bun-fight, well there wasnt any bun fighting to be had today as far as I could see. I think that I have managed to attend all these event since the first one in 2010, well that seven great well organised events. Saw this one when it was published and thought that I was going to miss it as work had decided that they were going to have their Xmas event in Christchurch this weekend but decided that they would change it last minute and moved it two weeks earlier, this was great as it made it possible for me to attend this event.

Managed to get to the venue on time, accompanied by gonefishing and Mrs Yeetrees. Managed to catch up with a few old faces and quite a few new faces and managed to put the names to a few of the new cachers that have just started caching. Really enjoyed the meal at the venue, always a great spot for a great selection of food.

Many thanks to boxhill for organising another great event which I really enjoyed, and Mrs Yeetrees managed again to win a prize. Not quite sure how she does this but she does. Must take her more often to events that have raffles as she seems to manage to get something.

Definitely looking forward to the next boxhill event. Hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Happy New Year, safe travels and happy caching, only 8 more sleeps till Christmas. Thanks again for the entertainment and the enjoyment. TFTEC TNLNSL (11401)

Tomorrow being Sunday of course, as today is Saturday. I just forgot to change the date on the previous announcement.

Planning to attend before I take some younger geocachers-to-be out on their first geocaching afternoon.

Im looking forward to catching up with folk tomorrow. With one thing and another I haven't had time to put together a quiz or anything yet. But there will be some raffles with spot prizes of Christmas goodies.

Also a reminder that if you are coming along it's still not too late to log your intentions so I can let the venue know roughly how many people there might be.

Awww gutted, I won't be able to make it. Would have been really nice to attend as it will be my last event for a long while- I'm moving away from Wellington the following week.
