Spent the weekend around mansfield and did a heap of caching on the way home to the south and getting to mansfield.Perfect weather for the weekend too.Saw lots of great things and found some really cool caches.This series along the rode were all easy to find but definately a great thing as it broke up the drive. Quite a few cool containers here too!TFTC

Caching around Yea and Yarck today I decided to do this series. Good old ABBA lots of hit songs and this was one of the best. A great idea for a cache which reflects the title. TFTC

Were staying in Woodfield for a few nights and finding some caches in the area. We loved this music themed series and very creative camos! All were located easily and in good order

This large feature of the site was awash with places to hide this one. We stuck at it and eventually found this well-hidden one.Thanks for establishing and then maintaining this series. A series is so much better than the odd one here and there.

With echidna44 as we made our way to Bonnie Doon. Took a detour to complete this series and it was so worth it! These caches made our trip so enjoyable, the song theme and the joy of finding the cool containers was so worth it! Would've loved this one to have a little money inside hehehe. It’s now time to head home after enjoying a long weekend exploring unvisited locations by way of geocaching. We thought we would tackle the K.G rd series as the quirky names piqued our interest.
The well themed hides kept us guessing at each stop.

After doing the fireworks for the Mulwala Ski Club last night we joined forces with The Drovers to try and grab a few caches before parting company. After parting company in Benalla we decided to take the scenic route home
Heading down we spotted this little series and decided that we should give them a try and we are so glad we did. The only problem we did have was every time we headed off to a new cache we wound up with that song stuck in our head until the next one we came too. We didn't realise that we knew the words to so many songs. We loved all the themed hides and the effort gone into them, they all bought a smile to our face.
We apologise for the generic log for this in no way takes away from the work that was involved in setting these up and we are leaving a well deserved favourite point on each one as a small thank you for the enjoyment we had.

At first we thought we might have hit paydirt and recovered some of Ned's ill gotten gains, but although the booty was certainly well after Ned's time it was still dated. Maybe valuable to a few collectors.

We have managed to organize some time off so we can head to the Wangaratta Mega. It has been a while coming with Covid difficulties and cancellations but we can finally say we are on our way.
Left home yesterday afternoon after cooking sausages at Bunnings all morning for our Rotary Club. Didn't take long to hook the van up and be on our way!
With numerous trips to Tumut over the years we have cleaned up most of the caches en route within a reasonable distance of the highway.
This time we took the opportunity to stay overnight in Yarck in a great free cam at the Rec Reserve.
This allowed us to leave the van there this morning and head off to do this series of caches.
Pleased to say that most were good-sized caches with well themed containers. Certainly added to the enjoyment. We appreciate your work!

We are on our way to Wangaratta for a few days geocaching using accommodation we had booked for the deferred Mega. Another detour. We tried to park as far off the narrow road as possible as there had been passing traffic at previous stops. I missed this one due the the direction I approached GZ but Lyn was able to spot it! Heading away for a few days camping. Met up enroute for a morning of caching with OZHockeyChick before heading off to reach camp. The KG trail (also OHC’s namesake) was the main target in our adventure.

Once again I know the chorus line but not the rest of the words... OHC on the other hand has taken the carpool karaoke to a whole different level

On my way to Yea, I spotted this little stretch of caches.

This series is fabulous and surprisingly I knew most of the songs. I sung the chorus to each, as I searched for the caches. The GPS jumped around slightly at some and may be attributed to the wind. All caches were in good condition and I loved the theme!

Money money money - something I have not used in awhile with the tap & go system being omnipresent due to contactless options and covid.

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.

If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.

TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.

Thanks very much for placing this series. Why else would anyone come up this road? But once searching we watched farmers, kangaroos and enjoyed the calm peacefulness. They were all pretty user friendly. And I enjoyed the theme. Hope you don't mind me copy and pasteing the responses.

Suscoe was heading home today but not before we found a few more caches in this area.
It was a cool start to the day, not as cold as yesterday and Eildon was covered in a good fog.
It soon cleared after Thornton and the rest of the day was sunny.
We have enjoyed these few days up in this beautiful area of the state.
So many parrots, cows, trees, hills and streams.

Off to the South-West there were what appeared to be a thousand or so sulphur-crested cockatoos congregating in a couple of large gums, and several dozen grey kangaroos. After admiring the stage show and logging our find, we set off back to Yea. TFTC

Finally got to have a couple of days off so I headed up to Molesworth for a few days of R&R and caching.
After setting up camp I ventured off for the afternoon.
I spotted this series a while ago and I was finally back up this way with time to find it.
Not an ABBA song my sisters drove me made with their songs.

There were not many caches on the program today as we had to cover quite a few kilometres, along with ilook4geo.
This was a series with very apt decor at each one. It was very difficult parking at many of these caches though, especially as we were towing our caravan.
Each found log duly had two more names noted on it and all caches were replaced as they had been found. Thanks go to nanna.c-super.pops for these creative caches.

On a travelling day today with goingplaces2 and just doing a bit of caching as well. This was a fun series and we knew all the songs chosen. Cache found, log signed, job done! Time to move on. TFTC.

Gunks and Trailstevos 'Summer' adventure. Well at least the rain is warm. Trek to Bright and surrounds taking in some places along the way. Great trail series. Loved all the hides. TFTC

Day 1 of 3 in the Beechworth Bright area for Trailstevo and I. 12 months ago we were here and had to get back for some unfinished business. We collected a few cache on the way up, all pretty much drivebys and then onto the Beechworth rail trail to continue on where we left off. Picked up around 30 on the trail and then stopped for a few solved puzzles in the area. The weather has been so bad here in the past day, but we were serious lucky to not get wet today. Luck to see an echidna and 4 tawny frogmouths sat on one branch. Has been a good outing today. Heading into Bright for dinner now. Thanks for the fun.

My third of a 9 day caching road-trip holiday. I had a couple of caches I was determined to find before making the last stretch to Melbourne, which took me away from the trails so my find total was a bit lower than I hoped. But the views from Mt Buller when the place isn't covered in snow were spectacular.

We were on our way home from an epic road trip through 4 states and some time on the Gold Coast when we spotted this series. Needed a few caches to get our 500th so came up to do some of these. What great themes, really enjoyed these caches and the effort that has been put into them.

This was our 500th and we thought these well constructed caches deserved a resident for a while, dropped a TB we’d picked up some 4000km earlier for another cachet to move along.

What a fun and well thought out series along the Kanumbra Gobur Rd The theme of it didn’t get to my brain until the second one when I realised just how appropriately themed each cache was and then the songs began to emerge from the depths of my ageing memory. I began to look forward to each new cache with anticipation and wondering just what I would find to delight me. It was a last minute decision to attend the Alexandra Event so after work on Friday Rapidlywild and I made our way to Alexandra entertained by the lightening along the way.
We had a fun filled weekend collecting many smileys and having some laughs and meeting up with fellow cachers, another Mega ticked off.

Time to make the journey home and pick up some smileys along the way.

Ended up doing this little trail with Goodlook. A varied collection of caches on this trail some giving us a giggle along the way.
No problems at this one signed, replaced and on our way to the next.

A fairly late decision resulted in myself and 1 party of the FurfacesLL clan headding south towards Alexandra Event. After working during the day Friday, the drive down Friday night felt never ending. We had a great 3 days stomping around Alexandra and surrounds putting our scribble in many caches.
