Rockhampton our final day.
Today we had nothing to look for in the town region so we took a drive up north.
Lots of roadworks on the way out of town, eventually made our way to our destination.
The caches were all found on qyiet lonely roads. A few cars but nobody around.
Thanks for placing this cache Rainforest Cookie

TFTC,
it is expected to rain for a couple of days. Staying in Rockhampton to wash and sort out our refrigeration problems and came out here to have the one in the truck checked out.
Took the chance to sign this one while here without the van.

Found it was a bit difficult to find as it wasn’t in the camouflage tin I saw in the comments. It’s been put into a mentos tin. But log was inside still intact.
We are still heading south picking up caches as we go. We loved the safe parking here for vehicles that are towing. There was only two muggle cars parked here today. The flies were bad enough to nearly carry us away. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
Today‘s route startet in Yeppon and we were heading to Mackay. As there was not much sightseeing on the way, we decided to stop for some caches to get some breaks.
This one was our first stop and as there are not plenty hiding-places we could find the box quite quickly.
Regards from Switzerland.

A quick cache on my way back to Townsville. Thankfully a quick find as the bushfire near Yeppoon looks nasty with a huge smoke plume building.

Found by Mary and David at 09:45. After breakfast at The Boathouse with an old RAAF Course mate of David's from the early '60s, we set off towards Mackay. This was our first stop. Could nearly have a CITO here - people either can't read the No Dumping sign, or choose to ignore it. A nice quick find. Our thanks to Rainforest Cookie.
Caching in and around the area, we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

TFTC. We were driving from Yaamba to Calliope today. This was a quick stop and grab. A little difficult for a drive by in a rig threat measures 14.5 metres. A nice easy one.
I found my first ever geocache! I think this 3hr trip will turn into 5! I am hooked
During our great roadtrip through Australia we went from Cape Hillsborough to Rockhampton today and found a lot of amazing caches along the route. This was one of them.

On my way to Barcaldine for QOGM 2018 . Left Nanango at 0225 and this was the next stop of the day. Good quick find. Going to Rockhampton to meet up with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC some time this afternoon then heading to QOGM 2018 via the coast and across to Clermont. Now in company with RoddyC and this was our first stop together.
Found the log sheets shreaded on the ground and also found an eclipse tin. I thought this was the container so re used it. hi rang the CO to inform her of my actions.
I have either signed logs with youngoldfella or YOF as that is what I use on small and Micro log sheets/books to save space on the paper as I tend to write on the big side. Apologies for boiler plate logs as I have a lot to write up. TFTC Rainforest Cookie

Looking further west from our Yeppoon HQ we came upon this parking lot and wondered where the owners were. But nobody disturbed us as we made a brief search and came up with the goods at 12:30. Colorful camo. Thanx Rainforest Cookie
Another quick trip to Rocky
Stayed with friends in Gracemere
Had some time to kill on the way home ...
So decided to grab a few caches along the way.
Bypassed the Rocky hides, 2nd stop ...
No worries here, avoided the Redback's, signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache.
