As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

As it hasn't been found since the beginning of the year and the CO hasn't been to check on it, this should be archived.

Had a free day in hand between a stressful week and the In Laws 80th tomorrow followed by a Expo next week, so this was a chance to grab a few caches that have been sitting there far too long.
So in the company of Mr MCC at 5.30am and setting off we headed north for a morning (only having leave passes to mid-afternoon) to see what we could find in the area before the muggles were up and about and we needed to locate caches in slightly less muggle intensive areas.
Today we managed a total of sixty five finds and only 2 DNF's. Not bad considering we were back home by 2.30pm.
A big thanks you to all the CO's for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches. We had a great day with lots of laughs and fun

Sorry for the repetitive logs. Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Quick look and no luck. Expected workers to have gone home by 6 pm but too many still about

We tried this one a while back and had no luck, a look today, and there it was, I was sure we checked there last time, guess a quick "man look" didn't cut it

I decided to have a bit of a Sunday drive around and grab some easy park n grabs. Thanks.

27-Nov-16
I came on a Sunday so that all the nearby workers would be absent. I still took too long to spot this one since I was looking for a nano. This cache is surprisingly well hidden considering where it has to be. TFTC.

A big DNF for us, really only one object that matched the clue, but after a good search we came up empty

2513 Visited Nana today. After circling a couple of times I found it. Crouched and signed. Muggles with muggle dogs were approaching as I came back to the footpath. Security drove by as I got back in my car.

I came on Saturday morning. As soon as I started searching, some workers across the way yelled out, "What are you doing?" I had to stop and make a quick exit. Maybe after construction finishes.

We were on our way home to papakura from onewhero when we came back into reception and saw the new notifications. Just coming into tuakau and decided to do a wee detour to try for the 2 FTF'S on offer. We got notification that one had gone so headed for this cache instead. We had just got out of the car when a bright light shined in our direction and "what are you doing here" - we cheekily called back "the same as you" because who else but geocachers would be here at this time of night. When he replied "What? Security?" We wandered up the street to have a wee chat. Once we educated him a bit about geocaching and he saw us he said go back and search. He also mentioned someone else that had just been. We finally made the find after needing to PAF - geo instinct was right but just eyesight needed work. Second to find by a few minutes. Watch the loose fence wire here, especially in the dark. Well done on your first cache - it certainly gave us a good caching tale to tell.

Had got home and after having a pizza for dinner were settling in on the couch when the caches started coming in.

Saw this one and thought nah WAY to far for us.

There were a few more releases and one was in Takanini area so we headed for that instead, only to be beaten by a few minutes.

Mrs NZT reminded me of the other couple of releases in Pukekohe...... its a nice night shall we go for a drive she asked??????? No argument from Mr NZT so off we went!!!!!!

We added this one to our watchlist and made a beeline to GZ. Jumped out of the car and as I was searching had a light shone at me.... What are you doing. I thought it was another ftf hunter but turned out to be a security guard for the nearby construction site. I yelled back I was treasure hunting and he asked why we weren't doing it during the day.

I continued searching and on my 2 pass made the find, took back to the car where Mrs NZT took the log out to reveal a blank log.... YAHOO FTF!

I placed the cache back and we took a U Turn and headed back. As we were driving away another car approached slowly and I was thinking that's gotta be another cacher at this time of the night in a secluded area but Mrs NZT was "just carry on don't worry about it" I think the security guard run in had her worried a bit!

As we were leaving Pukekohe we received a call from Mr HeMaLuDy asking where this cache was.... turned out it was them that we had passed so rudely 5 minutes previous! A few hints and they made the find.

We decided icecream sundays at McD's was in order before we all left for home!!!

A great adventure and another (FTF) for team NZTravellers

TFTC!

Well i did not see Nana but i did find the cache. No security guard here as it was just daylight. I decided not to go for this one last night as i knew there would be security and with all the stealing going on at present from work sites i didnt want to spend the night in the back of the police van. Oh and a little scared of the dark on my own way up there. Huge development here in this area of Pukekohe and well worth a visit to see how our little town is expanding. TFTC. signed log as JB,s.
