This event was to celebrate a 1000 finds, but my attendance at the mega tipped me over by just a few. It was great to see everyone that came out to share in this celebration and to help make this a successful evening. Thank you to all those who helped me along the way in achieving this milestone and for the great memories of all the adventures that were had in the process. Congratulations mazza-g on finding a 1000 caches.

Even though the evening did become a bit chilly, this was a well attended event with a little game to break it up which had everyone spreading up to locate the cache.
May there be many more finds ahead of you both.

Attended from 6:20 to sometime after 8:30, I then moved onwards with a group of people to do the nearby night cache

We managed to knock off work a little early which meant we were able to attend this event.
Although we arrived only a few minutes after starting time we could see that the event was in full swing with a big group of happy, smiling faces. We soon joined the group and started catching up with old friends and also meeting some new times that new hadn't had the pleasure of meeting. We really the way the FTF prize was organized but not as much as we enjoyed the chocolate crackles.

I had planned to attend this event on the way home from work but as it turned out I had very little time to spare. The result was I made a brief appearance, signed the logbook, chatted to those who were there at 6.30 and made my apologies before heading off.

Having said that I was really please to see a few familiar faces and to meet Mazza-g for the first time. Many familiar names from caching on this side of town. Thanks for the refreshments and for the event. Sorry I couldn't stay longer and well done to you both on your milestones.

It was going to be a fine evening, so I made a last minute decision to grab a pizza and head over to this event. I arrived spot on time and already a gathering which made "finding" the event quite simple. Congratulations to you both on your first 4 digit milestone.

Congratulations to Jascat and Mazza-g on the occasion of your 1,000th finds.
A very well attended event on what turned out to be quite a chilly evening. The cold night air didn't stop several of us from sticking around and talking for up to an hour after the event was supposed to end. As always, it was great to catch with people I'd not seen for a while and also to meet some new ones.

Tonight was a great success.
Very nice to meet Marian and it was great to catch up with Judith at a more civilised hour, lol. Congrats to both of you on achieving your 'comma' milestones.
This is the first event I've been able to enjoy to the full. While the Minis relished scooter throwing and living in Tree City, I was free to meet a bunch of wonderful new friends and gasbag until dark. I happily stayed until the very end when I still had a promise of a playground to keep... a torch each and everyone was happy!

Congratulations to Mazza-g & Jascat on reaching the first significant milestone and by definition, you are well and truly hooked.
It was great to see so many familiar faces and play an event game we haven't done before. We were bone weary, having ripped up floorboards and decking all day, so retired early for a nice hot shower and a well earned red.
Thanks for holding an event so close to home. I look forward to the next one.

### 1000th FIND ###

So this event marked my 1000th find. I got there! Taking almost 4 years to reach this milestone and 500 were found in this year alone.
Thank you to all those attended on this cool breezy evening. I think it was a successful night and I enjoyed catching up with some familiar faces, meeting some new ones and putting faces to familiar names I have seen around in logs and as CO's.
Congratulations to Hamfish on FTF (he was there before I was and I arrived 1/2 hour before) and SteMicMitSar on finding the cache in the lucky dip game.
Congratulations to Jascat on making her milestone and thank you or all our caching adventures.
Thank you to all the CO's out there as without them the finds would not be possible.

I arrived a little late so as to avoid the peak hour traffic but it was worth coming. Definite congratulations to Mazz-g and Jascat on an auspicious milestone, and thanks for putting on an event for us to share it.

Somehow this turned into my 1,300 find! Good to have seen familiar faces and met one or two new ones. Congratulations to Judith and Marion and thank you for putting on an event for us all to help celebrate.

Mary & David were there. Congratulations on your first kilocache, and now n to the next and the next and... We love Events and, despite the cool weather and traffic on the Westgate and Monash, it was great to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Much to David's horror, Mary collected a large soft minion TB. We haven't tasted chocolate crackles for years - brought back lots of memories. We hadn't seen a prize game like that either, with coordinates to investigate. Nothing found at ours, but we won just by being there. Our thanks to mazza-g.
