TFTC! a pretty straightforward find once you get to the right place i know its a brand new replacement log but its already a little damp with some water catching in the bottom of the container. id recommend a ziplock bag for the log to give it a fighting chance, if not a slightly more waterproof container. it wasnt too damaged though and still definitely signable!!
Sry didnt have a pen on me but I found it under the fallen tree near the roots
I searched a bit but all I could find is something that looked like it was once in the cache
TFTCrelatively easy findCO - the log is falling apart.Cache & location is in good condition
Away from my home turf and travelling with newly introduced GeoPartner today. A quick find on an early morning walk!
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 8. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. Stopped by here to claim the Lane Cove LGA. A bit wet today! All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers aquaman33! Found it! Easy find even with the rain love the spot although there was a lot of water damage done to the cashe. Forgot a pen to sign it though .TFTC!
Out for a walk and cache this morning after the rain cancelled our plans to cycle. A nice little park and part of Lane Cove where we had not been yet. Thankfully
Some fun little goodies in the cache. I left another wee trinket to join it's friends. TFTCSlib!

Found it while walking our dog. Added some bubbles! Log book looking a bit tatty but a few pages left. Thank you to the creator!
Cache was an easy find. This park has history behind it. Great little place. Thanks for bringing us here.
We think their is no no pad and missing items although fun walk to get there great for children
So cool! Remember to bring a trinket to contribute to the treasure if you want something out. Brilliant first find!
I am on a mission today to collect 16 lgas from the Sydney surrounds. I chose which caches to do, and the Elf in the car garmin is teling me where to go. Boy what a day. It started out really well, but around No. 12, the elf had a few to many eggnoggs, and glitched, and sent me back 2 previous caches, Which amounted to 2 tolls not needed to be paid, had about an hour of time. Anyhow, have a ....... I got it back on track, but somehow we have missed one, and the last one on Sout Head was just not going to hapen, due to the vry long walk to find a parking spot.
This cache was a quick walk in the woods. Needed a spider stick. Cache was clearly visible from the track, so i replaced it a litle better. Plenty of goodies for the kids in there. TFTC.

Thanks aquaman33
Stopped here with MummyPenny who made the find after confusing an angry bird. Thanks aquaman33.
Visited today to check on this cache and most of it was gone! So replaced it with a new container, new log book and some swag.
All good now!
All good now!
First Cache find! Was a lot of fun to explore the local area, nice and close to the path!
Found a thing that said “log book”, but there wasn’t much more to it. Might need repair. TFTC!
We were near the location and knew and we thought that it might lead to something
Pretty easy find, went out looking for one and found it in 5 minutes. Thanks

A short slide over a muddy trail brought me to the fallen tree. The cache location was very obvious. Rather than adding my name to the old, moist logbook, I added my name to the fresh sheet inside the mint-tin.

#14641 - 1:31:00 PM; In Sydney for a few days with the geohoney and after dropping her off for some retail therapy, I headed over the Lane Cove for a few caches. Located this one after following a very soggy path to GZ. TFTC aquaman33
Edging towards 9000 finds I grabbed a few before I make the big one later in the day.
Like others, I found the log lying in the open covered by a rock. It was soaking wet but I managed a scrawl. I had a temporary container in the car to put a dry log sheet in for now. Hopefully CO can get out to fix up soon. TFTC

A quick walk to GZ, where I found the log book sans container and managed to make my mark on a mostly dry page. Thanks aquaman33 for the cache
Was on the area and targeted this one. Like prior finders all that exits is a log book. Managed to make my mark. Thanks for placing this cache aquaman33 #1337
Grabbed this one and wrote my name in the book but a soggy book is all that is left. I imagine there was an outer container at one stage. I will also log a needs maintenance.
In other news this is a really lovely reserve except for the mozzies. What a cool history. TFTC

Quite obvious with the sun on it. Tftc, what a stunning area. Found with Amy!
I’m collecting LGAs whilst here in Sydney, and that’s Lane Cove crossed off, thanks!!
Grew up in Lane Cove and never knew of this little parks existence.
I recognise the sandstone though, it was used for the gutters on the street I grew up on.
Retrieved TB, will move to a TB hotel shortly.

Decided to grab one more cache in the area before heading home - parked at reserve entrance, a very nice stroll to the central area which had some interesting info on the reserve's former use as a Quarry. I am wondering whether the archway is original (if so, is in very good nick) or reconstructed.
Down the path to GZ where the cache was found very easily, cache was rather exposed (to the point where I would think a muggle would see it without trying, so replaced the cache with a bit more natural camo.
Cache in good nick - log ia bit tatty however cache is dry.
Dropped TB we picked up earlier
Cheers!

First find! Nice short walk, good for the kids. A bit exposed so tried to cover it up a bit more. TFTC!
Thanks, nice easy find. We forgot a pen! But did put in a little swap for someone.
Found on my second attempt! Tried approaching from the West the first time which just left me with wet feet. Tftc!
