Went to check on the cache integrity this afternoon to find that the whole thing had been broken into, the locks smashed and the gun device stolen., including the hold-down chain.
So sad, it took quite a while to make. Oh well, maybe Werewolf II might appear sometime in the future but for now ... goodbye

16-Oct-18
After having a great time at the WAGB weekend it was time to head north with maccamob as they headed home and I headed towards Geraldton.
There were so many caches to choose to look for as we made our way to Perth that we decided on mysteries we had solved and caches with a lot of favourite points.

Mr Crackers has had an interest in guns for quite a long time so this puzzle was right up his alley and he soon had a set of co-ords that the checker was happy with.
At gz the cache was located and we fairly quickly found our way into the log book.

This was a fantastic hide, so well themed with the cache information, we wish we could leave it two favourite points.

Thanks you heiddiseeki for bring such big smiles to our faces.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Mrs Crackers, at 0931. We love facts and figures, so really enjoyed this puzzle and the accompanying notes. At GZ, the container and contents were simply amazing. Loved it! Certainly earns a FP from us. Our thanks to heidiseeki.

Second day of the WAGB weekend and out with m4yb for a few caches around the neighbourhood.
This one makes up for all the horrid silly, IMHO, cricketers, even though I hate guns! This one would certainly kill a werewolf and yes another fav.
Thanks for the hide and smiley geidiseeki

Day 4 of our visit to WA for the WAGB18 event in Dunsborough. Today involves attending a presentation, helping at a CITO and looking for some random caches around Dunsborough and Busselton as well as some great puzzles and containers - a varied day today! Many thanks to the COs who have placed and maintained their caches along the highways and byways that we will be travelling in the next week or so.
Another great hide heidiseeki - a FP given.

Well done what a Fantastic cache. A favourite from me.

06-Sep-18
Had to head down for work so thought I'd try and get enough easy finds for the souvenir. I fell short but not to worry still heaps of time to go

Have had this one worked out for a little while now so thought today a good chance to grab it before heading to my todays job. What a fantastic cache Smile TFTC

13-Jun-18
Have to use over $220 of fuel before end of the month and my car needs some kms added as lucky if it does 100km a month so decided last night we'd come for a drive down and head to Cape Naturaliste for a look since the weather was a little better.
Anything is better than sitting at home digging onion weed out of the lawn

Haha sadly this one took me a bit more than a minute to have log in hand. Could see something from the car so thought 'yep no worries' so walked over to cache. "Umm" back to the car to get info and then I was off and got the log easily Big Grin

Have had this one solved for well over a year, well with muggles help as not my thing but just haven't stopped to get it.
Saw your log about survey pegs so thought better get it while we were passing

TFTC and the cache itself is worthy of a fav Smile

Werewolf is back. Don't know for how long as survey pegs in the area indicate that relocation is not too far away.
Lubricated and anti-insected. Ready to go.

28-May-18
Temporarily off line due to mtce. Also lots of survey pegs in the area may point to a relocation in the near future.

Just love everything about this cache. A fave of course.
Day 1 of our caching trip to Busselton. Have completed the Arrows and now picking up others while in the area.
TFTC heidiseeki this is find # 4726 for us.

I cannot say that I enjoyed the puzzle...not my forte
But I got there with a little nudge from the CO & a big one from my brother who was a REME armourer for 22 years. Now the cache on the other hand. WOW, WOW, wow. Thought I was going to stumble at the last hurdle but just quietly thought it through. A definite fave from geohubby. TFTC heidiseeki

Thanks for taking me here team heideseeki. I was able to find this one with only one set of coordinates but couldn't work out the trick to open. Back home and bit more work on the dreaded southlings I had a idea that could work. Second try lucky and I could open this epic cache. Fantastic container, puzzle and concept. We are adding a favourite point we would add more if allowed.

12-May-17
I had tried this puzzle a number of times but just couldn't get the numbers I needed. Today I sat down and reread the instructions and saw were I went wrong. Doh.
Ventured straight out and found the cache.
Absolutely brilliant. I love the theme carried all the way to the end. A fav from me. TFTC

Noted Mistraluna's comment and today was the first opportunity to rectify the problem. As noted, many hexopods in and around the cache. The whole has now been saturated in the appropriate stuff which has rendered the thing free of creepy-crawlies. Should be ok for a while.

Had this one solved the day it got published but only just found it. Awesome cacheTFTC

** This is a late log **

The caches I am now logging are from a day out doing a maintenance run on the WAGB Arrow series with Mrs Jackylegs as my co-pilot. Found 4 of the 7 that were reportedly missing, so only had to replace three. And of course we had to grab a few smileys for ourselves while down there.

Since then, many more caches have been found and other geocaching adventures have been enjoyed too, so it is about time that I got down to work on all those outstanding logs, albeit somewhat late.

I appreciate all the effort each of the cache owners has gone through to create and place each and every hide and I do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my usual style of individualized logs.

Once the puzzle was correctly solved, it wasn't too difficult to find another very cleverly constructed heidiseeki cache. The cache didn't have any arachnid guardians that we noticed, but it did have an army of little black ants on duty inside the aparatus. We tried emptying them out as best we could, but suspect that some insecticide surface spray might be needed. Thanks for the puzzle and the smiley heidiseeki.

Teamed up with Mistraluna today for a caching day out in Busselton and Bunbury while she was also doing maintenance on the WAGB arrow series.
This was a reaaaaaally cool cache! At first neither of us managed to get workable coordinates for one reason or another. Then I tried and got Southings working but Eastings while viable didn't work out. Which is then when Mistraluna managed to get the Eastings worked out. Great teamwork there! So we set off to the cache and found GZ quickly. We opened the cache and how cool is that. Very fitting to the topic. We have taken a few fun photos and signed the log then closed everything back up properly.
LIked the creativity here a lot so will leave FP. tftc sl tnln

The numbers took a bit of re-sighting before we had the target in scope. Shot out to the GZ range to test-fire our numbers. Bullseye! Target in sight! One final adjustment to line up the scope and we soon had the silver bullet. Great puzzle, awesome cache. Wish we could award more than one favourite point. Thanks Heidiseeki for putting this one together.

15-Dec-16
We solved this last night but as it was a full moon, decided we should wait till the relative safety of daylight. No wascally werewolves wandering woods and laneways, less chance of entanglement in the sticky webs of the arachnid guardians and safety in numbers since I was joined by my beloved reluctant geo hubby (RGH as he is unofficially known).

Coordinates were spot on and the outer container was found immediately.
Opening the first container took a few minutes. The next ones were very clever, but a lot easier.

What a brilliant cache.
Well worth a "favourite" and the perseverance in reading the ramble and working out the clues.

Learnt a lot! Not only about werewolves, but should I need to purchase weaponry in the future, I will have a better understanding of what to look for to get the job done.

Love creative caches, and this one is right up there with the best that I've seen.

Tftc.

*FTF* Jointly with Mrs Ooh Yeh at 8.15am. Worked on this puzzle as soon as it had been published. Made good headway but stumped on two of the weapons (one of which has now been replaced). Contacted Mr Ooh Yeh who has far more expertise in this field than I and after running a couple of numbers through the checker we soon came up with the go ahead. Congratulations on the excellent container heidiseeki.
Fortunately we didn't have to use the 'silver bullet' other than to record our visit.

Sent the geowife down south to collect ...... Great cache container wife sent me a pic well worth a fav point......

Hearty Congratulations to you both. Sorry for the need for refinement of the description but all good now. We'll done. Hope it was as much fun as it was making it.
