We parked at the end of Lynngold Street, which was probably the way to go as it allowed us to walk the short distance to the nearby multi-cache [Compton Park Multi - Parks & Recreation Series](https://coord.info/GCA5HPP), followed by this EarthCache (and of course we walked past the small and ratty/worn playground that was quite hot and sun-exposed. It then meant that it was a steep-ish scramble up the small embankment, where we admired the child rock in detail and up close. It didn't take long to identify the rock family and relevant example, and I quite enjoyed the spin that this EarthCache took for explaining what seemed like Geology's most fundamental lesson. Perhaps I'll need to revisit these family-friendly EarthCaches once again when baby Cottontail and Mopsy are old enough to develop their own education and interest! Cottontail and I took a couple of obligatory selfie photographs on the hidden child rock, and we then returned the way we came, finding a soccer ball along the way. Thanks [RoddyC](https://coord.info/PRC80AY) for the EarthCache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, baby Cottontail and I ventured south to Underwood and attended the [It's Kaffee Time at Underwood](https://coord.info/GCAZXFH) Event. We then joined [GurTheWanderer](https://coord.info/PRWMPWQ) and headed to Logan Central for a walk-around, and Cottontail enjoyed the playground in the nearby parklands. We toured around Logan Central following [Ugo's LACH Part 07 (Logan Central 1)](https://coord.info/GCAY8AZ) Wherigo, and closed out our southern adventure with a few geocaches and walks in Woodridge and Underwood. On the run back home, we met [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and baby Mopsy for a playground adventure, and a few final geocaches for the day.
My daughter Pinkypie05 and myself decided to do this cache to get our earthcache souvenir. Despite it being boggy from the rain and quite steep, I managed to get her to the top in her manual wheelchair. I then saw the other downhill path on the other side which would have been much easier . My answers and photo have been sent to the CO. TFTC!
Out here today with lisylou for the earthcache souvenir, it was easy to get to and a very peaceful walk. Photo and answers sent.
After Kolour's cemetery CITO we decided to head out and collect a couple of target caches. With an EC souvenir on offer, we stopped at this great spot.Answers and pic have been sent to the CO.Thanks RoddyC for bringing us to this interesting spot.
After the Cemetery CITO, Willis007 and I made a plan to find a few caches. Needing an Earthcache this weekend for a souvenir, this was the closest one for both of us that we hadnt found. At gz we enjoyed the view and took note of the rocks. Coming in from the back, it was a surprise to see this rocky area. My answers and photo have been sent. TftEC
Found with bennyboppers today out to get our earthcache for today. Nice quiet spot. Answers sent. Tftc
My mum Mnance101 and I decided to this cache for EarthCache Day. I have sent my the answers and photo to the CO. TFTC!

After finishing work. I decided to grab this Earthcache. I gather the information and sent the answer to CO.RoddyC thank you for placing this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
Schne Idee, sehr schn gemacht! Vielen Dank frs Legen und Pflegen!
We came here to check out this earth cache early this morning,as we are heading to a local event at Springwood. We enjoyed our short walk to G.Z. Found the spot interesting. We could see the kids playing sport from up where we were. Have sent photo and answers to C.O.
Our mission today is to complete a series of earth caches on international geocaching days. Out with legend and snigglepops exploring some south side places.
Out to collect some Cosmic Quest points on this International Geocaching Day with Legend WTGT and ILTW. Nice day for it.
Thanks for the morning trip down to Logan. Getting my steps and the geology lessons that I missed / ignored at school.
Out & about today chasing E caches for a challenge. My strike rate on earth caches is really not good but I hope I am improving. Answers & photo have been forwarded. Thanks for educating me RoddyC. TFTC
Thank you very much for working out this educative Earthcache and for luring us to this interesting place which we otherwise probably wouldnt have visited !!....../ ).....' /---' (_____.TFTC . Sent answers. What an amazing piece of history that I have never noticed before. This is my 2nd earth cache and it really does highlight the wonders in your own backyard and how fascinating these rocks are! Thanks for the cache and experience RoddyC
Out and about this morning to pick up a few south side caches on a brisk winters morning day in south east Queensland. Hopefully it warms up a bit
Found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero to locate the cache. Didn’t take long before the cache was in hand and pen applied to the log. Returned the cache to its hiding place and trudged back to the car
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Today we are coming down to Wynnum and Logan to get a few caches for two challenges. One challenge is to get different types of cache types starting with the letter of the month and the other is for LGA regions.
And yeah we now have the E for June!

An early morning start with nikid1 with a focus on a specific attribute for a challenge & then continuing on for a few more finds. This one was too close to the multi to not come for a visit. Answers have been sent to the CO.

Rocks. Now my favourites are polished or carved. Always nice to learn about our earth and to enjoy its peace and beauty. Thanks for bringing us here.
Caching with Chamad because I had some calendar dates to fill. This little outcrop of rock popped up so we studied it carefully and after agreeing (or not) on our answers, cache completed.
Needing an earth cache for the day Triple turmoil and I headed over to this nice little area. What a fun earth cache this was. We parked up and walked over to find our prize. Comments of “it looks like a cement truck just tipped its load” and “oh I think a gravel truck has just lost a load here” started us of laughing.
I remember playing soccer here in my 30’s wow this place has not changed.
We collected the answers and set off for a nice pic to remember our fun time here. thank you for the fun and cache here.

I’ve been on an Earthcache binge as of late since I really enjoy them, and I’m also working on a personal challenge to find them all in SEQ, so as you can imagine it’s an almighty challenge and I hope to complete it one day.
So after work I checked my map and noticed this one was only a few minutes drive from where I finished up for the day so I made my way over.
After a short walk I arrived at GZ and sussed out the outcrop to gather my answers. What a fascinating location, I must have stayed here for a good 30 minutes checking it over.
Thanks for giving me a reason to visit this location today.

Found with geodogDaisy and REMSJW whilst geokid_madison was in her ballet lesson nearby.
Had a few minutes spare waiting for a ballet class to finish so trekked in again with misssusan79. Message sent to CO.
We were heading back to Victoria and stopped to pick up a cache in the Logan LGA on the way. We jumped out of our geomobiles and wandered to the cache. It was quite a pleasant walk, and we made our observations. Back to the geomobiles, and one wouldn't start (A'Tiun, the one that had just come back from the mechanic) not a flat battery, nothing happening though. So the RACQ came out, and we had A'Tuin towed to the mechanic and another three nights in Brisbane. We live in interesting times. Thank you for this Earthcache RoddyC.
Out and about with Muggle65, looking at rocky things again. Thank you for the Earthcache
Catching up on visited Earth Caches. This one is easily accessible and a little fun, exhibit A at GZ I thought was an interesting specimen and stated so in my answers to CO.
Stopped in to investigate this Earthcache whilst in the area.
I enjoyed the imaginative cache description. Ground Zero was found to be deserted at the time of my visit, so I could investigate without any muggle interference or strange looks!
A nice example of the rock in question was observed.
Answers have been submitted to the Cache Owner (CO) as requested.

It was time to head back to Toowoomba but of course there was the need for one more, Davinells needed this one to help tick off a challenge. Parked the car and headed off to GZ to grab the answers and send off to the CO. TFTC and bringing me here today RoddyC
It was almost time to head back to Toowoomba, but I needed this cache for a challenge so I dragged Kestal along. We were able to park close by and found GZ easily. Took some photos and gathered the required info before heading off.

Today may as well have been earth cache day! I was hunting 8 of them in a single day to meet a challenge I was working on. Had to venture over to the "dark side" to grab them. It was more than 30 degrees outside, felt like it was 50 degrees, and there was heavy smoke in the air from the Fraser Island fires. Oh, you have to be relatively crazy to be geocaching in weather like this!
This was the fifth earth cache for the day. Answers collected, roses smelled, and I was straight back to the geomobile for some air conditioning relief!

Out and about today grabbing some Earthcaches I had spied on the map whilst visiting family on the Gold Coast. I managed to visit 5 different Earthcaches today which was great also picked up a few random traditionals that were nearby.
Love visiting Earthcaches when away, get to learn some more new things about different locations. Submitted answers and photo through to the CO who gave a very quick thumbs up approval to log - much appreciated A nice large outcrop here, I'm sure it gets climbed on alot!
Thanks for the Earthcache and geology lesson RoddyC

We are always amazed how unique rocks are isolated to other Mother Nature surroundings. Always questioning but how did this get there, why here etc.. Interesting spot to visit. Thanks Roddy.
We have spent a couple of days further south of Brisbane, doing a couple of walks and also collecting a few geocaches along the way. This one we had decided to use to collect a challenge souvenir for Earthcaching this weekend.
We enjoyed our visit to the area and certainly the rock type was unique and different to much of what we could see around us.
We have sent our answers to the CO.
Thanks RoddyC for taking the time to place this earthcache and geology lesson for us to enjoy.

The last cache of the day for NurseyJulia and I and really just an opportunisic grab while we were at the other end of the grounds picking up the trad.
We got a sideways glance from a muggle erecting soccer goal nets as we wandered toward GZ and I wonder what he thought when we stopped at the rock face and just stared...
Rock observed, answers compiled, photo snapped, we were done so it was time to head off.
Cheers RoddyC.

Out and about today with Gunnie69 for a few wonder souvenirs. This was a bonus extra EC. Answers sent to the CO via Gunnie. Took a pick of an empty field but the groundsmam nearby looked to be setting up for a match later today. Tft EC
