Found whilst in Morisset for the Mega with Mr Roo - many puzzles solved before we came, so many puzzle finds found while here. Love the scenery around here. Glad I didn't find any leeches or ticks... Thanks!

2nd day of the geomuster with Tankengine. Today we headed around the lake grabbing as many caches as we could. We had a relaxing day. Grabbing the labs and also some puzzles and some trads. TFTC"S

After not finding the first one. Walked down to this one and after a search of the other item focused on the main object there. Saw where others had stepped and made a quick find TFTC

Found with AlphaDeltaIndigo, Moneydork & morry9.

The Easter long weekend finally arrived and the excitement surrounding the 'Oz GeoMuster 2018' (GC74CH7) had reached its peak. With a day pass up my sleeve, I wanted to make most of my limited time at the Mega Event, so made plans to leave first thing on Saturday morning.

Morry9 was keen to hitch a ride and the tyres hit the road at 6:30 AM to make the trip north up the freeway to Morisset. Traffic was a breeze, unlike yesterday from what we had heard, and we arrived at the Showgrounds before most campers had woken. Once we had checked in at the registration desk and signing the official log, we met up with various geo-friends for a chat and tackled the Lab Caches on site.

We had no fixed plans, so when we tendered an offer from AlphaDeltaIndigo and Moneydork to join them for a day of caching, we accepted without hesitation.

First up, we went for the 'Be My Cachentine' series, followed by random Traditional Caches pretty much until dinner time, along with the remaining off site Lab Caches (most important!).

We ran into alnic39 at one point around lunch time and we teamed up for the remainder of the day.

Also, along the way, I tried my best to pick up as much rubbish and recyclables as we could fit in the geo-mobile, for an impromptu Cache In Trash Out (CITO). There was plenty of trash to go around but the area is definitely better off now. The CITO Crusaders strike again!

Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners and thanks to the Oz GeoMuster committee for running a successful Mega Event. Here's to more in the future! It is great to have a Mega Event in our own backyard!

I would really like to have said a quick find here but it wasn't for me, I was focused on another structure. Instead of looking where the gps was saying when i finally went looking where the gps said I found it quickly, thanks for the cache tnln sl

Managed to get it this time. TFTC

More than 6 months have elapsed since my last visit, when I found that the structure at GZ had been destroyed by vandals. It's good to see that Council has replaced it. Since I knew the cache wasn't there anymore. I looked elsewhere this time and good coords led me straight to the prize. Thanks 3 ferrets.

New seat ??? The remains of the old seat have been just left there, not nice

No luck. We were distracted by the carnage of the original hide it seems, and our GPS didn't contain enough logs to show it had been moved..... will have another look one day.

Now this one took some time to find but it really was in the obvious spot. TFTC

The weather forecast indicated a weekend without rain so we decided to go towards Central Coast to find some caches. We booked two nights at Freemans camping area. This sounded like anice walking area and so it was - except for all the motorbikes and crossmotor bikes. Cache was soon found, log signed and then we got a call from PurpleCacheEater. Decided to eventually meat where we had parked. We then headed off to the next in the series.

In the heat of the day we found it a bit hard to bolt up to this one. A bit hard to get the log out without tweezers but Mr S. was up to the challenge. Tftc.

Found with BillHill531 and my eldest son on a day down here. Trying to find all the caches within thirty (or fifty) kilometers from home and there have been a lot of new ones in this area. Came and found the Summo/Gwando series, Carters road foot/bike path series, Mother duck series and all the traditionals in between. But before I could even get to logging these the Cachentine series has been published. I guess I will be back...
Thanks for the fun day and series!

Coordinates changed from:
S 33° 10.687 E 151° 34.120

Coordinates changed to:
S 33° 10.686 E 151° 34.124

Distance from original: 21.2 feet or 6.5 meters.

Moved close by after original location was destroyed by vandals. Good Luck !!

Passed by here today while doing this series.

I'd say the cache is more than compromised!! The structure has been pretty much destroyed by vandals and needs rebuilding. I checked the various parts lying around but no sign of the cache.

GZ has been compromised - will replace nearby ASAP

With some cooler weather i decided to take the little one for walk to find this series. I had never been down here before so didn't know what to expect. we really liked the cool bridge nearby. we found the GZ structure although it appears to have been damaged. not sure if the council will come and repair it. the CO may wish to move the cache to the other nearby structure just in case. Brought the entire geofamily down today and got the kids (3 and 4) to ride their bikes on a lap of the pathway. A nice spot. Might even bring the kayak down around the little creek and Bay Area one day.

This one was another quick find. Cache container is somewhat 'newer' than its surrounds so it was a quick spot. Log again took some extracting - another one that was determined to wedge itself in there. TNLN TFTC

Again, the coordinates were so good there was no problem identifying GZ and the container was spotted soon after. No problem with riders today, we saw no-one at all on our walk. Thanks 3ferrets for the hide.

FTF 1245. After a shoirt ride we dismounted and Mrs C soon had the cache, she also had the GPS mounted on her bike. Again, tweezers were needed and we didn't have any with us so we improvised. After a struggle we had the log out. Thanks 3ferrets.
