Logs
Walking around Eltham on a hot Sunday, I came across this cache. Its still hanging in there, which is quite common.
*Found on the 10 Aug 2024 @ 3:52PM.**Cache find # 15723.* Continuing on with my tour around the Eltham area after the earlier event, I came across this one next.Once at GZ I soon spotted something that lead my to the cache, the log was signed and I was off on my way once again. **Thanks to Legomango9 for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
TwoEms were hanging around Eltham. We came here once before on a sunny day, but a group of mugglesladies, prams and kidswere also hanging around this very spot and enjoying a rather long chat with each other, so we skedaddled to find some other cache in Eltham. We came back on a better miserable drizzly dayjust hangin around in the rainand signed our lonely name to prove itThank you for the cache.
Definitely sneaky lol.Be careful with attachment. I wasn't and spent 10 mins getting it back.
Should be easy but iI found it about 60 cm down a hole on a trunk. I thought it needed rescuing, but advice overnight and a return trip helped me feel differently: David
I thought I had no hope in getting it out and it had fallen down then I saw something connected to it.
Also a close parking spot and not far from the road.

Haha, well played! I spent far too long checking in about a 10m radius for where I'd normally expect a little bison to be hangin', resolutely ignoring what would have otherwise been my first port of call.
Eventually worked it out, and while a previous finder had mentioned that some kind of tool seemed to be in order to retrieve it, a closer search showed that wasn't actually the case at all, so a few moments later I had the bison in hand.
Signed the log, visited a trackable. Thanks for the cache and the fun,Legomango9 and Legomango's Dad.

Found it but could not find it. Looks like you’d need a retrieval stick with a hook or magnet to get it. Thanks!
I stopped by this one for a look while out this way this afternoon. The find itself was pretty quick but it took a moment or two before I spotted the way to recover the container, which I did at 14:40. Nicely done.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Legomango9 and Legomango's Dad.

Pretty tricky and very creative. Fun none the less and enjoyed every second.
Great hiding spot didn’t expect it at all in thought it was gras but it was wire
I had spotted this area surrounded by multis a few weeks ago and had put it on my list to explore one day as it looked like a good place to walk around. Having arrived today though I think I should have picked a better day. 30+ degrees! I don’t think this will be the full day I first planned.
This one had me fooled for a moment and I was thinking it was gone based on previous DNFs but sure enough it is right there! A clever hide and gets a favourite from me today!
The log is full but I managed to stamp in a spot beside a large cache log.
Thanks Legomango9 for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

TFTC One more day in our lock down streak, hoping to get to the end of August so these near our Research home are coming in very useful. Of course we will be our of reserves soon!
So what else to do on a drizzly day in Melbourne than walk some kilometers looking for caches.
Very straightforward find and no spiders webs to worry about in the rain

I had a fair idea where this cache would be and hoped I would be able to retrieve it. An easy way was found so all was well.
Our experience with a nearby cache helped my brother figure this one out. TFTC, it was a fun find on today’s caching adventure and we love your caches, Legomango9!
