Very cool cache with a very entertaining field puzzle. We had to twist and pull for ages getting stuck at multiple dead ends before finally figuring it out.Thank you for the cache that was a little more challenging then its sister.

Super windy today. The cache was like a musical instrument

Weve been staying at Bunjils Lookout prior to our trip to Tassie. Today we are going to a friends house in Lara for dinner so decided to cache around Lara and Little River. We found some really good caches and had a great day out. Even snagged a new LGA, epic. This was our first find of the day and I struggled to get this one sorted (struggled to even find it to begin with ) but gentle persistence paid off. TFTC

This pair of 'amazing' caches have been taunting me on countless trips up and down the highway so today I decided to see if I could remove those pesky icons that I watch fly by at 100 km/h. Wink This was first and once at GZ, I soon spotted the container - but how to sign the logbook? With a bit of patience and, of course, much jiggling, I finally had the logbook in hand at 16:00 and a large smile on my dial. Smile

All deserving of a fave point methinks. Big Grin

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Sims_family.

This had me worried how to get it out without damaging it luck was on my side, with patience
Thank you for both amazing tubes

Over the ditch from NZ sorting family affairs. Of course I can make time for some caching which will also help with this month's Fave Challenge very clever cache which, considering the amount of dumped rubbish around it, has survived detection! Fave-ing ..hope this helps you towards the challenge too

Straight off the Spirit of Tasmania to this cache. A fantastic one to start the long weekend on the way to Rutherglen for the Mega. TFTC!

Find #13261

It's been a while since I have been down for the Geelong Christmas festivities and with it looking to be a nice day, I headed down early for parkrun first at 8am.

After the nearby event, I headed off for some smiley's with RoamingHowie, OzHockeyChick and horror.fan.jm.

After some ice cream in town, we headed towards the final event for the day.

Massive thanks go to Sims_family for placing this one.

It’s almost Christmas and the good folk in Geelong have decided that’s something worth celebrating. I think they might be on to something!

Given the celebrations, I teamed up with OzHockeyChick for the day and we left the big smoke behind, trekking all the way out bush to country Geelong ?!?! A day of Christmas and caching festivities lay ahead.

A great little field puzzle here on our way to the Christmas dinner event.

Thanks Sims_family for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Back down in Geelong once again to greet my new granddaughter into the world, so while there’s a brief interlude, what better to than pick up a couple of caches!
After picking up it’s brother down the road, I thought I’d give this one a go too! Wasn’t long before I had what I searched for. Signed but log is full!

*The Mostly Local Puzzles And Multis Tuesday Afternoon Adventure #2*
We had a short afternoon available to us after SueHut's midday appointment. I had solved a few nearby puzzles, and was keen to find them. This, like the previous cache, was not one of those, which may give an idea of how my planning panned out for the day.
On the other hand, this is a cache well worth the hijacking of my intentions Very Happy Take a fave. P.S. Our next stop was "aMAZEing Tube I", because SueHut hadn't done it yet. And *that* was bordering on criminal.
Thanks heaps, Sims Family!
PPS Sorry for the double-up. You can't add faves after the fact any more!

Well this was cool. Thanks for your effort in creating this.

This one took a bit longer, but I got the hang of it. Pin was loose so it could be cheated but it still works. Tftc

22-Feb-22
Heading for an event in Geelong after work, I stopped off to find some caches enroute.
Having found the simpler version to the North, I was again impressed with this handmade field puzzle, with the higher difficulty level.
Nicely done indeed.

Nice game to get the tube out great job

06-Feb-22
After our success at the previous aMAZEing Tube, we couldn’t pass up stopping for version II. Steve said I could have the honours extracting the logbook, but as he watched me struggle (I was being very gentle) he took over. Wasn’t as easy as the first one, but he got there.

Thanks for another fun cache Sims_family.

Down in Geelong today, and out for dinner tonight with some friends.
On our way home I made sure we detoured to these 2 caches (my other half who was driving wasnt as impressed as it was after 10:30pm). This one was the first that I attempted, given the time of night, tiredness we certainly took out time to find the gz. This one certainly took a lot of time to solve as I hit a lot of dead ends. Fav point from us!

Great Field Puzzle Thanks.

Found - first cache back after a long break thanks

Thought I had the hang of it after doing the other cache down the road, but very quickly realised it was just a tiny bit trickier. Worked out a method and the bison was very quickly in my hand. So much fun to play. Beware of braches, almost stabbed myself with a low one.

Today 10th if july I find myself out caching with Stemicmitsar once again and remember that I haven't logged my caches from our last trip...... what poor form from me.

Out caching today with Stemicmitsar for se caching shenanigans to clea up some caches that we struggled with last time we were down this way and pick up others of interest. Eitherway had a great day all in all, thanks for the cache.

*Cache find # 11816.*

After spending the day in Geelong with buhfuhguh, it was now time to head for home but we decided to make a slight detour so that we could have a look at this one.
We headed into GZ, Michael got there first so he had the job of extraction, after a lot of twists and turns and avoiding the pitfalls we had the cache in hand and the log was signed.

**Thanks to Sims_family for placing this cache.**

We decided to start the weekend a day early and head off to Melbourne. Mr Dromaniax is doing the Bloody Long Walk on Sunday. That starts at 6.40 am, so trekking from St Leonards to Melbourne was very unattractive at that time of day, staying in Melbourne and catching up with friends and family beforehand much more attractive. We have often wondered about this road as we were passing by on the freeway and with some extra time, we took the detour and grabbed a few caches. This one was a great deal of fun. Easy to find, and reasonably easy to solve (We will have to do the more difficult ones soon. The cache is in excellent condition. An FP from us for the innovative physical puzzle. Thank you for this cache Sims_family

After a late lunch at Lara (unfortunately so late the cafes were closed lol) we headed off here to find a couple along this road. This was another very cool cache which took a while to access, with a few dead ends along the way. GMelb was the lucky one in the end, then JMelb returned it

Day 3 of a dedicated geo-weekend away with Kestal and Scratches...today we were headed from Geelong to Melbourne and other places in between. Very glad to be out of sight while doing this. We all had a go with no success before Scratches gave it one last try and slowly and gently she got further then we had been before and voilà...we had ourselves a cache. TFTC Sims_family.

01-Mar-20
Scratches, Eskies5 And I continued our way through our list as we made our way back to Melbourne the long way on our third day of our leap year weekend away in Victoria from Qld and NSW. This was next and we were a little relieved we were well hidden from all the passing cars as we all attempted this one. After a short while Scratches had an ah-ha moment and soon had the cache and log in our hands. Great hide and TFTC Sims_family

01-Mar-20
After parking the geomobile and making our way to GZ, Kestal, Eskies5 and I each made promising starts with the puzzle then got no further. After a few more false starts a technique was discovered that finally resulted with success and signing of the log book.

02-Feb-20
When I saw there was an event at Leopold it gave me the excuse I needed to head to the area and find a few of the puzzle caches I had in the solve pile and pick up any others that were on route, I had a great day caching the area and attending the event where I caught up with some good mates. This one took me a bit longer than the other one, very tricky and well deserving of a Fav.

Thanks Sims_family for the cache.

This was my second stop today.

I made fairly quick work at GZ.

Before long the log was retrieved.

I signed and moved on.

This one took a little more work to free the log but we got there in the end.
Thanks for a second harder cool hide.

13-Dec-19
Staying at Little River for the weekend so I can attend the Christmas events that are down Geelong way.
Got down in the afternoon after fighting the 4 o’clock traffic leaving the city and I had a bit of time to find a couple before it gets dark.
A great idea that is fun to do and as the cache page says this was a little bit trickier than its twin brother that I just did.
Just took a bit more patience to get to the prize.
A fav goes out to you for the great field puzzle.

Thanks Sims_family TFTC.

As Bunadoorian and I were so close - we couldn't resist finding this one. Bunadoorian so wanted to have the fun of the field puzzle as I had done the one nearby - but was so disappointed that the important bit was missing and so the cache just pulled out. TFTC Sims_family.

Again we all piled in here and this time had a fair idea what to do, but with a few extra twists and turns. Love these type of caches as we have a larger version back at home.

A last minute decision with becca85 was made to gather our kids together (AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 & boo09) and reform TeamClarmensma to hit up Geelong for a few quick caches. Our first point of call was this event where we got to chat with others and see some cool camo including this cache. It took me a couple of minutes but I got there in the end. Love it. Way past my skill set to build something like this. Thanks for the cache. Adding a fav point.

Opened and logged this one at the evening event. Very clever. Smile
Apparently we'd not had enough of each other all day on Friday, Team Clarmensma again teamed up (myself, GemmaSistema, boo09, neisha07 & the Sistema boys) for a last minute drive to Waurn Ponds and an evening caching around Geelong.
Got home just after midnight due to caching for the 2nd night in a row. Wink
