We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Ingenia White Albatross Holiday Park in Nambucca Heads, the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort on the Gold Coast, the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort in Yamba, and the Big4 Leisure Tourist Park in Port Macquarie. Planning to collect some caches around our accommodation stays, and also stop-off for some targeted caches along the M1 Pacific Motorway route. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base. This was the 2nd of 11 finds for the day (day 1), and 2nd find of the holiday. After finding "Herons Creek Round About" we drove the very short distance down to this nearby cache, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced the spooky "on theme" cache camo as we found it. TFTC DiMorgan.Find #7160
Up from Sydney for casual geocaching in the Mid North Coast and staying a few days in Port Macquarie. Another DiMorgan geocache. While Mr Gaztek has been referring to her as clever and tricky, she now becomes just a little creepy. Glad it was a sunny day when we stopped here. No surprise GZ was muggle-free. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Quick and easy find with Crying Cowboy as we cache our way towards Gladstone for a few days caching around Tamban Forest, TFTC
Up trip up north this weekend with deni_f this being one of our finds. TFTC Di Morgan
Find#2244Found today after working my way with Shaneo58 on the way to Wauchope for a caching weekend. This was not what I expected at GZ. Have never seen anything like this Cache and log in good condition. TFTC
Heading north on a mini roadtrip to pick off a few caches. Hmmmm.... Now that's not what I expected. TFTC
TftcI had a spare couple of hours while waiting in Port, so I headed down to Herons Creek for a change.A little trek through the soggy grass soon had cache in had and signed.
Our second day staying at the Kendall showgrounds, and after the rain overnight, it is a lot cooler to go caching, no doubt the mozzies will be out for revenge after so many hot days.I am sure I saw this skull somewhere else Bill. Ok, I will give another Fav point.Total Caches Found 15375TFTC DiMorgan
Very cool and unique!! Great hide. Was quick to find once I spotted the geotracks left by others. TFTC
Always fun to find another body in the bush. A favourite point from me. Outnabout for some solo caching. Its always a great day for caching. Well my trip up to QOGM has officially started and I’m taking the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there.
It has been a while since I have driven up the Hume to Sydney and some people say that it is a very boring drive but I enjoy it.
So after spending a couple of nights in Lane Cove it was time to hit the M1 and A1 and head north to the last of my target caches The Frying Pan.
After finding the Pan and a little celebration I was then in googles hands to get me to up to my next destination.
Spent the night in Taree so now back on the M1 and A1 to head to Byron Bay for the most Easterly cache and a few LGA’s along the way.
First one for the day and found the right exit ramp and soon noticed the Geo trail in.
What a great use of something that the previous owner doesn’t need any more.
A fav goes out to you for this one.
Thanks DiMorgan TFTC.

Luckily there was a handy path in to this one so we didn’t really need to bush bash.
We have been staying on the coast at Harrington to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
We are now heading north and grabbing a few along the way.
The container was found after a short search, once at GZ Something a little different, so happy to give a fav.
Thanks DiMorgan for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Very cool cache & camo. Plus someone kindly hung a pen nearby in case you've forgotten your own.

GPS not working but followed bush track. Very clever. Definitely a favourite! Thanks!
Bit of skullduggery going on here, very wet couldn’t sign but something in the log will suggest we found it.TFTC
This one is definitely the best one we have found, I definitely eased my hands after this
We had an idea of what to expect, and it didn't disappoint. Took a big stick to scare away any slithery critters. Logbook was a little damp. TFTC
While travelling south again with ilook4geo, we decided to take a short detour off the highway and learn some interesting things about Herons Creek. The signs around the area are really good with a lot of interesting facts and stories. The caches were not too hard to find and were an interesting assortment of cache types and hides.
This was an easy find as the camo was very obvious. The log was rather damp.
Thanks go to DiMorgan for this fun series. We really enjoyed coming here.

Loved doing this series with goingplaces2. The hides varied, the containers varied and it was a lot of fun. TFTC.
A few caches around the Lorne area, and as far across as Port.
Nice hide. Went to the wrong spot first, but soon realised my mistake.
Thanks, Robmc.

I went with Fitzy_1965 for a long weekend drive up the east coast to Port Macquarie caching along the way and visiting several new towns and villages. A highlight was a get together with Pprass & Kat after a few mega 4wd climbs in the afternoon. Day 2 found us caching around Taree before heading to Wauchope for the afternoon. Several fun trails on hills, but a complete camping fail, so we ended up hiding from the rain in a Pt Macquarie Hotel.
These well camouflaged caches provided a real challenge and a great opportunity to see the information made available.
Thanks for the cache DiMorgan

21,933. Found during an epic trip up to Port Macquarie and back with albida33 over a 4 day weekend. Often signed as F65 A33.
With a loose plan on paper we headed off early yesterday from Goulburn and aimed to be around Taree for our first night in the swags. Drove straight through to north of Sydney (including through the new NorthConnex tunnel - awesome not having to do Pennant Hills Road ever again) and arrived in Taree and set up at the Taree Showgrounds. This morning after breakfast we packed up and hit the caching trail. This was the next find of the day. A nice quick find on a nicely set up cache at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks DiMorgan !! It's all in the name - lol.

After a quite odd year, Hawko2017 and I decided a road trip to Byron Bay for a mates birthday bash would be a nice break. And if we could find a few caches on the way, that would just be gravy.
We’d targeted Herons Creek today, as there seemed to be a bunch of caches with lots of favourite points.
End cut & paste;
More or less what we were expecting from the name.
We entered the undergrowth at the wrong point, but eventually managed to discover the GZ and exhume the container.
Tftc
Another favourite point for DiMorgan.
Thanks for the sensational range of caches in the area.

Found with nissan 65 on my way home from looking at a house at Glenreagh. Thankyou for the cache .
Following the car gps all day, but these drive bys, are difficult to stop at as the gps is a little slow. I was wondering about the name, but seeing the container, all was revealed. TFTC. 9/9
Found it! What a cool hide!! I wasn't keen to look as it's very wet and there's water laying everywhere. But determined Geohubby forged his way "ahead" ... and was totally amused by your cache. So, wet feet 'n all I had to check it out. Great job. Very well done. And we love the area and the historic signs TFTC
Found tyftc. Having a week caching our way from newcastle to brisbane. Find #1/1636
Found by Mary and David at 10:20. We were looking for another sign. Perhaps this one? No, trust the GPSr, and there it is. Where on earth did you find that? Our grandchildren would especially love this one and, yes, another FP. Our thanks to DiMorgan.
Found with littlemissleft and littlemisslonglegs
Nice hide collected as part of the mystery at the museum
