Cache always needs replacing or maintained with wet logs, things going missing, not a suitable spot and don't have time to upkeep

14-Nov-23
Nice easy find, but the log needs replacing.

20-Oct-23
With over 250 finds in the rear vision, attempting many finds over the next few days. However this log book is stuck altogether as noted by others. With TBs Canadian Flag, Dosenjger, Piglet Travel and G.N.I.A Travel Tag in tow.

06-Aug-23
Wet and water see photo.
Find it and sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.

25-Jun-23
Quick find, log wet.

25-Jun-23
Didn’t take long to find. Log wet though. Tftc

12-Jun-22
Found it with the geocousins on the long weekend.

Couldn’t fill out the long as it was to wet

15-May-22
Tftc - came when the place was all wet

22-Apr-22
I should have realised today would not be a good day to attempt this cache as previous logs indicated very wet area and after a few weeks of rain, 3 clear days would not be enough to dry it out. However it didn't get really bad until I was over half way in so blindly continued on. The cache was 1/4 full of water and log soaked. As I emptied the water out a small friend wriggled out too. Photos attached.

18-Feb-22
Thankfully the tracks had mostly dried up as I imagine it is wet most of the time around here. TFTC

Watch for mozzies left a coin

27-Sep-21
Found it pretty easily ! Unfortunately the log was wet and a bit of water in the bottom of the box, forgot a pen so didn’t sign but we left a coin

10-Aug-21
Was a good find, had to be a bit shady, as there were kids doing the jumps on push bikes. So went around the other way. Cache and log in good condition. Coordinates very accurate.

23-Jul-21
Great cache Smile

01-Jun-21
A fun walk! Entry is best from the end of Warwick Rd. There was only 1 coin (a 50c coin). So we've added a couple of international coins and little fun swaps! Smile

I live near the city and ventured out to Richmond this morning for the Community Celebration Event in Smith Park at Pugh's Lagoon. It was a good catch up with geofriends then I headed off for some cache finds.
I made my way over towards this cache, having a great deal of trouble finding access to the walking tracks as the entry gate was difficult to locate. Finally found it and began my walk towards the cache.
There was no rain at home last night but it must have rained very heavily here last night as I found the grass very squelchy then only a short way into the reserve, well that was the end of it. The track and much of the surrounding area was under water.
So no chance to even get near GZ this morning.

17-Nov-20
Really didn’t enjoy this area. So much trash and mistreatment. Tftc anyway. Tnln

Came to Windsor today to do the Lab adventure and then move on to Glenbrook to do another one. Really enjoy the labs lately, but of course can't resist if there is anything else that turns up along the way. Mostly quick found traditionals today.

   CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Streak day 62
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

09-Feb-20
On a rainy day we could quickly find this beautiful box.
Thank you for the cache

Find # 5197
Found with sesblocker.
Great coordinates made for an easy find... however, the cache has been raised. There is nothing left except the container. We have placed a new log and rehidden. The coords are better than the hint.

An early morning stop with Splitty Miller JJCC in the rain looking for an alternate cache type today in order to fill in a day for the Tomorrow will be different challenge cache we decided that this traditional would fill that void. Dodging all of the puddles of water and garbage along the track, we eventually made our way to GZ where luckily a quick find was made. With the container in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. Thanks for the cache Geohunters100.

The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, Gold-Fin Trackable and Treasure X Trackable, Little P, Rama's First 100 Finds.

Found with guest muggles on school holidays. Is it private land??? Trespassing warnings around. TFTC

22-Jun-18
after the car just couldn't get any further due to the fact we are drving along a dirt bike or bike track not on purpose there is just no signs (other than the no trespassing ones of course) to dissuade you from driving in. As we walked up to this area I stopped to tie a shoelace and peered into a nearby stump - just in case the cache was there, it wasn't but I did find a nice little chunk of yellow Jasper which I appropriated, I now think I've left it at the lapidary club house, easy come easy go I guess. the cache here was covered in the barest camo - just one long stick which wasn't very effective, it was nice to find another good sized cache here, I signed and replaced more camo over the top which makes it stand out for other reasons. thanks for this cache too

Not sure if this cache is still legal but we found it today. Nice big box but there be very little treasure within. TFTC

Good to see another decent sized cache placed here in this bush reserve ... thanks Geohunters100! A straightforward find after wandering further along the track from *Agnes Bush* ... as the numbers on my GPS came down, I spotted what looked like a very likely hiding spot from the track.

#3869 (5 of 11 today)

In my quest to fave at least five finds per calendar day by the end of the year, only one day remained where I needed three finds - today.
So only needing three I of course massively over compensated and found 11 (out of 11).

I'd taken yesterday off after a dissapointing Wednesday, expecially as the rain had really set in.
But today it was fine. And I was going to cash in! And cash in I did.

Some really awesome coins here, but I had nothing to swap so left them all as it.

My phone gps had me 11m further into the scrub than need be.

After finding Agnes Bush l followed the tracks as best as l could to this cache - what a rabbit warren this place is! So many tracks, and yet, I still picked the wrong one! Only a little bit of bush bashing (on top of mozzie bites, which didn't help!) and cache was found after a fair look, thanks for hiding this. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC

I'm surprised it doesn't get muggled! Easy find.

After I had finished finding the cache I was sitting in the car, while it was parked in Eaton St, texting on the phone, when I looked up to see a tradie truck accelerating up the road, straight at me on the wrong side of the road! I thought I was going to die! I blew the horn and it swerved around me, about two car lengths away. That was CLOSE! My heart rate must have hit 200, and it took hours for me to calm down... 26/1/17. (Happy Straya Day!) 8:13 AM. Cache #4698.
3rd of 6 finds this morning - Agnes Banks.

Another little part of the Hawkesbury on my side of the river that I hadn't cleared yet. Started with the four in this triangular reserve.

After "A song by Dobie Gray", I continued in a straight line bush bash in reasonably thin but prickly terrain to here. Once I got to GZ, finding the cache didn't take too long at all. Discovered a TB inside. I continued with my bush bash to "Agnes bush" but soon found a track that made the going easier. TFTC.

Bikerbuddy saved me a circuitous walk to this one, pointing out a side track I was about to walk past. Good to find a nice sized container! Bikerbuddy said he thought there were fewer coins than when he found this one, and that a particularly pretty one he remembered was no longer in there.

Thanks Smile

We headed out to see family today the long way and picking up caches along the way. we ended up doing about 26 caches for the day and enjoyed the variety and the hides, some straight forward and some more challenging. thanks for all the COs for the caches and the smileys we collected along the way.

Nice day walking around this lovely area. Shame it has been trashed by people rubbish. Left the car at the start of the dirt track as the road is covered with rubbish and broken glass. Cache is in good condition. Found a mob of roos. Swap pirate coin for an american quarter. TFTC

Parked on the street and walked to gz with a quick find. Signed log and returned as found. Lots of birds calling even though it was a hot early afternoon. TFTC

15-Dec-16
One i found a track leading to gz, i saw that i could have possibly driven my car all the way there. Unfortunately i also saw all the garbage dumped in the bushes and decided or would be far safer to go by foot. It's a shame that some people choose to ruin such an area or of pure laziness.
Thanks for the cache.

#4036- Out with bikerbuddy this morning for a quick morning caching trip to pick up a few recently published ones on a day heating up by the minute. We parked on the side street and quickly found the vehicle- wide track towards the cache. Unfortunate that people can drive in here, as this whole area is very badly in need of a CITO. It's despicable what people will do to avoid tip fees.
Cache was found pretty quickly about 10m away from the location. try S 33 36.864, E150 43.049- though it is in a fairly obvious spot for a cacher once nearby,
Interesting to look at the contents, including the 'unusual' Aussie coinage. Nice big container too. Found the road less travelled (shorter and less rubbished) on the way back. Thanks

08-Dec-16
We turned off the Driftway onto Bonner Road and parked near the wide track that heads into the bush, and followed it in. It was like walking through a tip. Mattresses, lounge suites, bar room paraphernalia. It was all there. We wound around to the cache and as I headed off track I spotted the cache with about 11 metres to go according to my GPS. Not a problem. It was pretty obvious, anyway. We looked through some of the coins, including the special commemorative Australian coins, some of which I have somewhere.

We returned by a less used track - one you can no longer drive along - and therefore a track without rubbish. A pity it's so easy for people to dump stuff here. Thanks

One last cache after a morning scavenge hunting (GA current game over December & January) in the Blue Mountains. The trip home passed this location. Parked Agnes Banks side and walking in on the trail.
Cache quickly found at GZ (as corrected coordinates have fixed the error by early finders). Retrieved log and signed before replacing as found. tftc

Out early this morning before the heat of the day with AMGSARI.

After completing the nearby cache we moved on to this cache. At first I walked right past GZ only to find after a bit of a search the co-ords were off by some 18 meters.

Cache located with some very interesting Australian coins inside. Signed the log and replaced as found.

Quite an easy find, my GPS read (S 33 36.868 E 150 43.048) 17 metres from GZ. TFTC

06-Dec-16
I drove to within 100 metres and walked around to GZ.

After finding nothing I expanded my search and read old logs.

Eventually at 20 metres off GZ and much closer to the track than the places I had been looking I spotted the good sized container.

Can you please check the coordinates and this will be a much better cache, even with all the illegal dumping going on nearby.

TFTC.

05-Dec-16
This was the closest traditional cache to home so I grabbed the geodogs and headed to GZ. Wasn't sure where to park or which road would be the best one as the cache seems to be smack bang in the middle of the triangle. On the map looked like an access road from The Driftway, if there was I never found it. Decided to bush bash my way in but discovered I had the climbed through a fence, just glad it wasn't barbed wire. Eventually found some bike tracks but by the time I did I was close to GZ, I found the cache 17 metres from the published coords. SL #2830 on streak day #1614. I have some foreign coins at home but forgot to bring them so I TN but left a OzMega business card. TFTC

05-Dec-16
I was out and about with GazMag this morning and picked this one up to start off. Maybe it was the overcast conditions but we eventually found the cache maybe 16metres out in a position we had to walk past. Anyway the cache was found in good nic with a good collection of coins, some of which I didn't even know Australia made.

Yay! Woohoo! It was exciting to actually get a local (FTF) cache. We saw the listing pop up on the computer and decided it might be worth a rather hurried dash out of the house, as it had only been posted a matter of minutes before. A quick drive got us to the road closest to GZ and we spotted a track that would bring us even closer. Getting out of the geo vehicle we were off to find the cache. After reaching GZ we were rather puzzled as there did not appear to be any hiding places nearby. We then decided to work outwards in ever increasing circles until the hide and container were spotted. It was about 14 metres NW of the listed co-ordinates going by our GPS.
Opening the container revealed a treasure trove of coins and an unsigned log book. We were very happy to put our name in the FTF position at 2.25 pm.. The container was then repacked and replaced with the appropriate camo. We took nothing and left nothing. Thank you to Geohunters100 for this generous size cache and we are giving it a favourite point for the {FTF}. Our trackables were excited to visit this cache as well.
