Logs
Up from Sydney for casual geocaching in the Mid North Coast and staying a few days in Port Macquarie. Our third DiMorgan cache in a row here and theyre all great. We have never met the CO but Mr Gaztek has taken to calling her a tricky or clever so-and-so. She is and we are enjoying her geocaches. Lets see how the rest of the day unfolds. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Quick and easy find with Crying Cowboy as we cache our way towards Gladstone for a few days caching around Tamban Forest, TFTC
Up trip up north this weekend with deni_f this being one of our finds. TFTC Di Morgan
Find#2243Found today after working my way with Shaneo58 on the way to Wauchope for a caching weekend. This was a very clever hideCache and log in good condition. TFTC
Very clever! Great history.Kiwisteve2 for the find. Coords were spot on. Heading north on our journey to somewhere. Day 2.Gets another fav!Tftc
Heading north on a mini roadtrip to pick off a few caches. Must say this had me puzzled for a little bit. Very clever little hide. TFTC
TftcI had a spare couple of hours while waiting in Port, so I headed down to Herons Creek for a change.Ahh sneaky sneaky. I almost overlooked this one.
Our second day staying at the Kendall showgrounds, and after the rain overnight, it is a lot cooler to go caching, no doubt the mozzies will be out for revenge after so many hot days.Another Fav pointTotal Caches Found 15374TFTC DiMorgan
TFTC. Almost gave up. But upon reading previous logs I had one more look. Another nice camo.
Very nice hide. The geo kids were so proud of themselves for finding this by themselves. Replaced the ziplock bag as it was abit damp. TFTC
Another great hide! Took me a while to find this one, had to be strong to get it. TFTC
Very nice hide, another favourite point from me. Outnabout for some solo caching. Its always a great day for caching. Great hide. Luckily my caching partner, GinjaBeardNinja, is creating at finding Di Morgan caches.
We have been staying on the coast at Harrington to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
We are now heading north and grabbing a few along the way.
The container was found after a short search, once at GZ. Another good find on this trail.
Thanks DiMorgan for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

I nearly gave up on finding this, before I decided to have just *one more* look around. I had touched the camo several times earlier, it turned out, but just hadn't realised I could move it!
As per other reports, the cache clearly gets water inside it whenever there's anything heavier than a sprinkle, and while both the cache and the log were reasonably dry today, the entire logbook is now full of black mould.
I think one of the problems here was that the snap lock bag was too big for the cache - twisting and shoving them to fit in isn't good for their structural integrity or for maintaining the seal - so I replaced it with a smaller one which fits neatly. The log still needs replacing, but hopefully the next one will stay drier!

Took a little bit of head scratching before something looked a bit odd.

Did a bit of searching before I had it in hand. Thanks DiMorgan for the cache.
Roadworks happening so difficult to get to with onlooking excavator driver too.
Cache container was a bit waterlogged. Have dried out the container and replaced the ziplock bag but the logbook is still very soggy.
Almost at the end of this series. We have enjoyed learning about the Herons Creek history and even the brush with celebrity here with Baz. Another interesting cache hide. TFTC
While travelling south again with ilook4geo, we decided to take a short detour off the highway and learn some interesting things about Herons Creek. The signs around the area are really good with a lot of interesting facts and stories. The caches were not too hard to find and were an interesting assortment of cache types and hides.
This one took longer to find than it should have as our GPS wanted us to look elsewhere. Eventually we shifted our focus and thought differently and then made the find.
Thanks go to DiMorgan for this fun series. We really enjoyed coming here.

Loved doing this series with goingplaces2. The hides varied, the containers varied and it was a lot of fun. TFTC.
A few caches around the Lorne area, and as far across as Port.
They collected a lot of ex-pupils for the 1940 reunion!
Thanks, Robmc.

No luck for me here. With the 27 favourites I know it’ll be hard but just no luck. It is 41 out side and 18 in my car
I went with Fitzy_1965 for a long weekend drive up the east coast to Port Macquarie caching along the way and visiting several new towns and villages. A highlight was a get together with Pprass & Kat after a few mega 4wd climbs in the afternoon. Day 2 found us caching around Taree before heading to Wauchope for the afternoon. Several fun trails on hills, but a complete camping fail, so we ended up hiding from the rain in a Pt Macquarie Hotel.
These well camouflaged caches provided a real challenge and a great opportunity to see the information made available.
Thanks for the cache DiMorgan

21,932. Found during an epic trip up to Port Macquarie and back with albida33 over a 4 day weekend. Often signed as F65 A33.
With a loose plan on paper we headed off early yesterday from Goulburn and aimed to be around Taree for our first night in the swags. Drove straight through to north of Sydney (including through the new NorthConnex tunnel - awesome not having to do Pennant Hills Road ever again) and arrived in Taree and set up at the Taree Showgrounds. This morning after breakfast we packed up and hit the caching trail. This was the next find of the day. A nice quick find on a nicely set up cache at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks DiMorgan !! Fav Point !

After a quite odd year, Hawko2017 and I decided a road trip to Byron Bay for a mates birthday bash would be a nice break. And if we could find a few caches on the way, that would just be gravy.
We’d targeted Herons Creek today, as there seemed to be a bunch of caches with lots of favourite points.
End cut & paste;
Another great hide, this time we found some wildlife as well. The frog was a little put out that we’d disturbed it.

Found with nissan 65 on my way home from looking at a house at Glenreagh. Thankyou for the cache .
Following the trend does not help here. Wombat101 zeroed in on the place, then worked out the puzzle. Nice hide!. TFTC. 8/8
Found tyftc. Having a week caching our way from newcastle to brisbane. Find #1/1637
Found by Mary and David at 10:15. Mary's Dad was a teacher at a number of small country Victoria schools, so she can identify with this one. Not the first place we looked, but a very nice custom hide again, and another FP given. Our thanks to DiMorgan.
8821 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1510. Well done on the hide here. Arrived just as some of the students were being transported to home. Had to have a second look to locate the container. SL Tnx DiMorgan

Found with Gazkersh and littlemisslonglegs! This is the first clue cache for us for the Mystery at the Museum. Excellent hide. Favourite point from me!
This was brilliant! absolutely love your caches~ takes a bit of thinking and searching! Wasn’t with Artemis for this one, but I made it sound so exciting on the phone that she refuses to let me show her where it was so she can find it herself! Thanks again!

Interesting place for a school, away from the town. The cache took a few minutes to locate. Mrs Shifter found it just as Mr Shifter was getting out of the car to offer assistance. Look at everything as the coordinates are very good, trust your GPSr.
Thanks for the hide DiMorgan.

We were expecting an interesting challenge here, and it certainly didn't disappoint. A bit of head-scratching involved. The GPS kept leading us to the right place, but we just couldn't see it, until ... bingo! Gets a fav for making clever use of original features. Tftc!
This one had us stumped for a while, until we trusted our GPS and it led us right to it, where we discovered the cleverly-hidden cache. TFTC!
With the creation celebration promo on i was going to be struggling to find caches around home to get the required number of points. Then as a coincidence i had to travel north for work. So i looked at the map to find some high favourited caches on the way There were a few in this area that i stopped and grabbed on my travels. I intially went to the correct GZ but then moved back to another structure. After checking it all over i went back to my orginal spot and tried something else. Nice hide. TFTC.
Have had these caches at Herons Creek on the radar ever since they were published but never seemed to get around to doing them. So when Bobbie suggested a day's caching I decided it was time to make the effort. The copy and paste nature of the logs in no way reflects our enjoyment of the day out, and the anticipation of the type of hides DiMorgan employs. Thanks for finally bringing us here. You have reached a new level of sneakiness with this one !!
Found on days caching with MoSS AU, Squires Squire and NSW Lone Rovers
