Looking at clues & other peoples notes, feel
This is right steps but construction wall is stopping access to cache?

Couldn’t find it, not sure where the ‘broken post’ is, might try again another day
think i found the right spot but no luck, will try again when i have more time
Found it on a sunny day, nice walk, they’re right, easy find if you’re at the right spot.
Had walked past this one a few times and was in the right place, but always too many muggles about! Tide coming in so was able to stand there, pretending to take photos and grab it without looking suspish. Thanks for another great cache!
Well, due to the logs, it was an easy find! I think I did a walk by when last in the area, but flagged any attempt as I had thought it was on the walkway that has been fenced off for a long while now... back in the old 'hood, wandering about while the cache mobile & pirate are both in for repairs TFTC & small diversions to take my mind off things
The coordinates appear to take you to the wrong steps, which is more complicated as there are objects there that match the hint. However, after 15 minutes of unsuccessful searching and then viewing the previous logs, I realised the error and moved to the actual GZ. Nice quick find once there. TFTC
I had spectacular DNF here two years ago. Today was a day to turn sad blue face into a yellow smile!
Handy and quick find at GZ.
Dropped off small TB as well.

I am in Auckland for a couple of weeks meeting and getting to know my first grandchild, Isla, who arrived a few weeks early at the beginning of February. A very cool tribute cache and great informative listing too. I was catching up with a former work colleague for lunch and we walked along the beach to a nearby cafe. On our way back we stropped so I could find this cache. All found safe and sound. TFTC, Biggles.
Excellent clues. Not difficult to find once you’re in the right place. Love the history lesson with this one.
Nice find in the shade. The cache says that it’s at the other stairs. But instead it eight metres out and you’re looking for other stairs. TFTC!
Nice cool cache, came out here to find this cache so much times but relised today that the cords were a little off but that was okay, still found this cache and that makes me pleased. TFTC
Took a few moments to find it even though it was right in front of my eyes...I blame the muggles....yeah that’s it!
Thanks!
Thanks!
It took us a little while to find this one and we were TEMPTED to give up. But we used our persistence and thanks to Amelia we found the right stairs. Thanks to Hayley we finally spotted the broken posts. And luckily Jarrad the giraffe (and the best school bus driver) spotted the fake rock. A fun Friday find!
Description got us all confused. Looked everywhere but the right spot first! Tftc.
Took a little while to find the broken posts, but then we needed a distraction so I could check for the cache. The geohound decided that "having a go at" a rather large alsation dog was the best way to go, I grabbed the cache, signed the log and GeohoundandI braved the water with a nasty savage foodle.
Found this one while running after the little one. Saw the spot and thought "I wonder" cache was easy enough to find with the description. Interesting bit of heritage I didn't know about. Thanks for the cache.
Took a while as I was looking in the wrong place from reading it wrong haha. good geocache though!
Woohoo we found it this time I can tell you now it’s not what I was expecting
Had a bit of trouble finding the correct steps and post. Team effort, Nora found the post and I found the cache. Signed with NN and SIM.
Super duper cache! Took awhile to find the fence posts as GPS a wee way off. Magnificent tree! Found with Squirrel in the Middle. Logged as NN and SIM. Thanks Glynn
Took us a whole to find but using some previous logs helped us get there in the end. Having a glorious Christmas Day here in Takapuna. Went to see the performance of End of the Golden Weather which was wonderful. Tftc
Second time lucky. This time we looked a bit further than our GPS. Two sets of stairs.
Finally found this! Very good camo! Coordinates are about 8 meters out but if you follow the hint you will find it! Thanks G-2!
After a brief bathroom break after heading as far as we wanted one way I headed here and made a nice quick and easy find. Good back-story here which I re-told to mrs capperz etc, Ziggy played the field it seems.
Entertaining our visiting family, Day five of six. Seems like a tough ask but it really isn't . there are so many paces to go, that we've already done exploring (caching) before so we have a good idea what to expect. The baby was crying a bit so we tag-teamed each other so all could get a feed, and we managed a couple of finds whilst on grandparent duty -yay. A few good caches today and a good walk along the Milford to Takapuna walkway. A few were 'left' for another day too!

Brilliant camouflage. My gps was way out but persistence paid off.
Thank you from Howard and Kath
Once again

Once again
We probably looked super weird when trying to find this!! But it was all worth it because it was quite the lit find
While the cache is still there the pill box container has lost its closing screw plug. Thanks for the cache.
It was a beautiful sunny wand warm spring day and we had arranged to meet up with the grandparents in Takapuna. There was also a cool play-ground that needed to be checked out on Takapuna Beach. So plans were made and we headed off. Of course, we just had to do a little bit of caching while we were out, after all, it would have been rude not to, especially since we are not in this neck of the woods often.
We were wandering along after finding our first cache for the day and headed along to the boat ramp. Along the way, we came to this cache. Ahh... The Mon, a name associated with teenage memories. Mr. Kiwi used to live on The Shore in his younger days and The Mon was always a part of conversations amongst friends, although he never went there himself. Oh well, c'est la vie.
The GPS had us a little all over the place, so we searched through the logs to see if they could shed some light on the subject. Luckily, one of them did. We soon had GZ narrowed down and started our search. After about a minute we found what we were looking for, even if it didn't look like it at first sight. Once found, the log was extracted from the container, which had no lid, and was signed before being replaced as found.

The lid for the container seems to have disappeared. There is a temporary wrapping around the container to help keep it water-tight, but a new lid would make for a better solution.
3 rd time luckily found

Great view nice day for a walk

No pencil with us so that's our pohutukawa stick scratch under the last log back in April. Nearly gave up but geo junior thought better of it. Coming from a different direction helped. Random sight with a couple of goats out for a walk along the beach. TFTC.
What I cool find log full did manage to find a open space. TFTC found with Callie and Loelie!
Sorry for the late log, just been too busy. NIce find on a morning out with Avoyager, T4tc
Thank you for the awesome cache! This one was really hard but after some time I looked in some less obvious places and found it.
TFTC!
TFTC!
day in Takapuna: headed up to Takapuna today after helping my Father with some errands this morning. Spent the day walking from Akoranga to Milford via Takapuna Beach, and experienced some really good caches, especially since this appears to be G-2’s playground. Nice views and good fun all round, so a productive day it was.
The specific log for each cache is as follows:
Nice little story here, always like a bit of local history. The cache was spotted after examining the few options that were available. All good here, despite the throngs of muggles that we’re having their lunchtime beach walk. TFTC!

Took a walk down on the boardwalk as tide was high. Had to jump a couple of temporary fences, oops. Got to GZ and realised it was on the beach where the water was highest, so hadn’t needed to jump anything! Eventually located the hint zone and found the cache - any shorter than my 5’ 10 and I would have struggled. Feet a little wet but nothing compared to yesterday on Rangitoto! TFTC.
Greetings from Texas! Walking the beach was nice on this windy, cool Monday. I have to say that “head height” for my 5 foot 4 inch self was not tall enough for me to see the cache, but my assistant is 5 foot 9 inches and found it easily. TFTC!
We saw the hint item and expected a quick find but unfortunately no joy for us today.
Well, the e-bike made it to this cache along the low tide beach to GZ. But have I found GZ? Co-ords seemed to point elsewhere but clearly there is only one conc post that I can see! Couldn't reach it though probably due to the low stature of the one logging this cache and I have to admit there was NO room on the e-bike to be carrying around extension legs. So as I was able to take a foto of the said conc post, I am hoping that the belligerANT's C.O.... no that's not the word... ANT's are not what the C.O wants to hear about... they make him weak at the knees.. what is it? Oh yes... I mean the benevolent C.O might like to see my foto that I took, I shall provide him with the necessary info. We gotta be clear about matters here!
Quick find this morning in our attempt to pad our December and yearly totals. Thanks!
Went for a walk down Takapuna beach today and tried 3 other caches but at lunchtime it was far too busy, this cache was the only one we could find probably because everyone else was in the sun, Nice learning about the hotel that was once near here too. Cheers
