EN : The Abel Tasman Coast Track is coming to an end for us. We enjoyed superb landscapes and viewpoints but also the sun . All the caches we searched for will all be found. Thank you to all the installers for the work carried out for our greatest pleasure. Greetings from France. Our Travel Bugs pass through this cache but do not come out of our backpack; they continue the adventure with us. Trip to New Zealand, decided very quickly , but that didn't stop us from preparing a small file of caches to search, as far as possible. The GC46 was, of course, at the top of that list! and there you have it, we visited it during our stay in Wellington. Yesss!! Our program should allow us to discover a large part of this country.FR : l'Abel Tasman Coast Track arrive sa fin, pour nous. Ventured on to the Abel tasman walkway today this was the turning point. Thanks for the placement and the smiley
Second time looking for this one! (first time I didn't have a device on me and was trying to cache from memory). Hadn't even planned to have another scout, but I was walking along the track trying to remember the coords and clues when I suddenly saw something that I had missed the first time. My non-caching mum couldn't see it until I pulled the log out!
I can't even remember how often I've looked for this one already - always without luck. Checked on the way up to the hut and couldn't find it once more, back the next day I said to my non-caching hiking buddy to give me only a second, we were all tired and just wanted to get to the car and I was almost sure it will be a dnf once again. But then I spotted the big container and wondered how I could ever miss it! I really wonder if it was always at this spot as I am pretty sure I looked there - anyway, happy to tick this one off.
Spent a few hours at Marahau today. Great day for it! Picked up a few caches too. Sadly this wasnt one of them. Spotted theother interesting object straightaway. Inspected that to see if it held the cache. It didnt appear to. Spent another 10+ minutes searching, in between dodging the occasional passer-by. Landed up leaving empty-handed. Rather frustrating really!
Like the previous cacher, I found another interesting object first. After backtracking a tiny bit, I spotted something suspicious, which turned out to be the cache. Some cute local birds were very interested in what I was doing! Tftc
Yes, it was super trap, because at first we started to look for cache on wrong object, and checked in details something dedicated for insects with the name of cache owner on it. Small correction and we found real cache Thanks ProjectJanszoon for the cache!
Found few weeks ago. Easy quick find. Recommended on you way back when the area is not that busy
Found with Dali87 within our famous trip around New Zealand. Thanks for nice cache ....................................................................... TB Koumesovo geopivo DDEV7M

My second find together with Sophie and a New Zealand family we met there by chance. Perfect
I am with Muggle on a three and half week trip to NZ. Nothing serious, just the well trodden track every NZ tourist does who is coming from the other side of the world and has not the chance to come here more often. North Island is done, Auckland Coromandel, Rotorua and Wellington touched. Now we arrived in Picton and transfered to Motueka. Idea was to do a day trip into Abel Tasman NP. Any place nearer the entrance to the NP was already occupied or to expensive for our budget so we stayed at this little village. Next we were off the well visited track. We were quite early on site fearing that the parking lot would overflow. But at 8:30 situation was still relaxed. 1st thing I found was the trap. With the GPS not very exact I thought I found the cache with the log missing. But one photo in the gallery showed the box. So I rearched about 10m next to the trap and found the box.Thx for hiding.
I had had a cursory look for this while walking from Anchorage to Marahau, but as it was starting to rain carried on to get back to the car dry. Back this morning to have a proper look. A reasonably quick find in the third place I looked. TFTC

This took a bit of finding but we used caching logic, saw a faint track and investigated. Yep. That will be it then. TFTC
Great walk. Thanks for the Cache and thanks to whoever left the little present in here. We will enjoy it. Greetings from Germany xxx
The Swiss cacher family with Spiess, J_walk, MsSophie and Drayah visited also New Zealand and this cache. TFTC!

Was watching all the branches and there were many... but couldn't find it... :/
#5.679There were some more options suitable for the hint but with enough energy at the beginning of today's trek we were able to find it quickly and undisturbed. TFTC says team mastba from Hamburg/Germany
Found on school holidays, day walk in with the kids. Added new dry log book and bag, plus dropped 2x TBs.
Grabbed this on the way back! Cool to see DOC getting involved in the Geofun, seeing junior is involved in some trapping in our local town up north. A very worthy cause to protect our native bird life.
I'm visiting New Zealand for a tour around the country . I have already visited many places on the North Island. Now I'm on a tour around the South Island. While enjoying the sightseeing I also visit some caches. This is one of them. Thank you for showing me the place and thank you for the cache . Greetings from Switzerland .
After kayaking to a nice little beach with some other people I was hiking back to the barn and stopped for a few caches along the way. This sure is a wonderful part of NZ.
Very wet logbook.

Very wet logbook.
Was very hard to find but once we found the right area and walked off the path a little it was easy, definitely needs maintenance, paper was very wet luckily we had a pen, we added some clean tissues in there because it was wet. Good luck!
Needs a replacement because the whole box got wet! Was interestingly big and true that walking back is easier to spot!
Found with Ulmuslynx, arrived at GZ, we searched around and decided to call it a day, and as we were leaving, the cache was spotted. Signe the log, which was wet. [ Didn't have any paper to replace the log]
Thank you for the cache
Thank you for the cache
Found with no.13. An older cache so a little trickier to find. Found project janszoon trap. After reasonable search was just leaving when spotted. As descr mentions easier to see on was south. Very wet. Tftc
Beautiful day for a visit to the Abel Tasman park. We hiked up till Coquille Bay and found all caches along the way.
The link between it all was a bit lost to us, but eventually we find the cache in good order, tftc!

Found it as suggested after a stunning walk. Thanks for bringing us here tftc
We had quite a strenuous day having kayaked from Marahau to Anchorage and walked back again. We just about managed to find this cache! TFTC.
Nearing the end of our walk from The Anchorage back to Marahau and by now we were feeling a bit tired. But we still had the energy to search and find this cache. Thanks for placing!
Sadly the logbook is damp. Not yet damaged though. I didn’t have the time but if someone could take it to the sun for an hour it could be saved.
Finally back to try for this one again after missing it a few years ago. Today had a bit more time to wait for a gap in the passing traffic. Track busy as ever
