Received a cache needs maintenance email from ground speak for this one. Looking at the amount of finds the DNFers have and given the tricky nature of the hide I’m sure it will still be there. However I’ve noted that the area is suffering from a rubbish problem and I don’t want to put finders in that situation.
Had a good look.
Couldn’t find.
Looked at activity and still couldn’t find the log to log it.
Either too good of a hide or our eyes are not super great haha

No luck!
A bit smelly here too!
Grabbed a coffee afterwards though! ️

clues and previous logs didn’t help, maybe been lost?!? will come back out another day to look again
Hmmmm... had a good look around but it's not the most safest area, broken bottles and rubbish everywhere, looked around and under a few things, could not find.
This one took us a little while. It was about 8m from coords and doesn’t match hint anymore… there were a few broken bottles in the area so not sure if muggles have been the cause of it. Look at past logs if stuck, that’s what helped us in the end! TFTC
Out on my own today going from early morning walk. Parked the car and short walk to GZ. Had me going for quite a while with so many options to look at. About to give up and extended my search a little and bingo. Got it . Nice one. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the cache BorisB&Natasha
This will probably be the last cache of our girls weekend. It was a quick search to spot the fun hide! All is well at GZ, cache & logbook are in good condition. A Naval ship is moored nearby. I wondered if they saw us scrambling in & out of bushes around here all morning. Thanks for the fun!
It’s wonderful to be able to travel outside Melbourne after such a long lockdown. We came for the CITO to help Landcare plant new trees, then Steve & I headed over to this area to pick up some caches.
Thanks to the clue, the nicely camouflaged cache was soon found.
Thank you BorisB&Natasha

*Found on the 6 Nov 2021 @ 3:55 pm.*
*Cache find # 11955.*
Today I head to Phillip Island to do something that we haven’t been able to do for sometime now, which was to attend a CITO event but of course I had to make a day of it by finding caches before and after the event.
It was now later in the day and the black clouds were starting to roll in, how many more caches was I able to find before the rains come.
I noticed something obvious here and sure enough it contained the cache.
**Thanks to BorisB&Natasha for placing this cache.**

Whilst the youngest one is having. Snap I decided to head sneak away from the family me go for a solo cache. Weather was terrible this morning but is really turning it on atm. TFTC
Easy find and spoiler photo in activity also helped. GPS was spot on so probably didn’t need photo hint. Clever hide. Did not bring pen so could not sign log book. Tftc ️
Don’t know how but found it. One of these is not like the others A trip to cowes for other stuff meant some fun to be had as well. Hadn’t had much fun until this one. Tftc.
Wow ok that one was cool - tho’ but for the photo spoiler in the comments I’d never have found it I don’t think - log was too far down in the tube & I was unable to get it out - TFTC tho’ on a beautiful sunny Winter’s day
On a road trip to Phillip Island for a couple of weeks, picking up random caches as we travel around seeing the sites. As the caches along here weren't far from where we were staying it was our intention to walk along and see if we could locate them. However we hadn't gone far when there was a heavy shower of rain so we retreated back, jumped in the geo4WD and drove as close as we could to each one. The weather was certainly keeping the Muggles away today. Once we found a suitable track into GZ it wasn't long before Mr Pooky found the well constructed cache. TFTC and bringing us to this area, without the geocache we would not have known it was here.
I found this while mansgirl was chatting on the phone. Clever hide. Thanks For The Cache
Cheeky cool hide. Saw some boats come in by tractor. Rain is easing, keeps muggles at bay. Tftc
Another day-another caching run!
Since the COVID restrictions have eased in regional Victoria we have been trying to do a weekly run with caching mate Rebel Acts. This is our fourth outing, and unfortunately the drizzle looks set to make things a bit miserable. Our first 3 days were beautiful, mild and with a light breeze. We are living in hope that the skies clear and make it more comfortable, but this IS Victoria.
As in the past we will sign many of the caches RASP.
Quite disgusted with this one. Both Mr and Mrs Ski actually handled the container, before discarding it. Luckily Rebel Acts knew better, so we got to sign the log!

With restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, Today we headed over the hills to Phillip Island where we had a great day exploring the Island, the weather was four seasons in one day, but that did not stop us. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today. I gave My caching companions a bit of stick over this one, Amateurs is what I called them after they both picked it up and put it down again with out finding the cache.
Logs signed as RASP
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for the cache.

Found quite quickly but location does not fit the hint. Might need to be relocated by CO

A well-named cache, as a group of people were floating their boat off a trailer. I found the well-camouflaged cache quickly, but only because I had seen a couple of similar hides. Tftc.
Out on a mini caching adventure with Smac24, we left mr2max down on the beach while we went hunting. Made it to GZ and had a good hunt around, got a little bit flustered and resorted to the hint. Looked around again, pointed at a spot, is that it? Checked, nope, not there. Hrmm... where? where? Mr2max joined in the hunt because we were taking too long and turns out it was right where we had already looked. SL TFTC
Not too many people around today given the patchy weather. Log is a bit damp and could do with replacing. Easy cache to access with a couple of kids in tow.
Found this nicely hidden cache as we took a short walk along the beach, from the caravan park.

Took longer than we would have liked but got there in the end! Pen ran out of ink (and paper was a bit wet, maybe it was that?) so didn’t get to log it!
We are having a holiday in Phillip Island this week. Being the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend, coupled with some lovely weather, made it very busy, with muggles out everywhere you went.
This one of the many Treasure Island series, I managed to find this week. A nice piece of camo.
Thanks for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

After a successful 'lead up to another Victorian Mega' event in nearby Cowes, we decided to head out caching for the day. We were keen to check out some of the 'Treasure Island' series which seem to be all over the island. I was able to make this find - first one for the day for me! Thanks for the cache BorisB&Natasha.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 5pm. I'm thinking, how do I find a micro in here when I spotted something that was worth looking at? There it was. TFTC
Spending the long weekend here on the Island so I thought I'd pick up a few caches while I'm here.
This one was a bit tricky and took me a while to find. I realized I was almost standing right on top of it in the end, don't know how it took so long.
Signed the log and on my way.

On holiday from the uk slow drive down from Sydney to Adelaide over 5 weeks. Stopped at Phillip Island for a couple days Excuse the cut and pasting but all logs being done on phone and using local cafe WiFi! Stunning views and beaches. Very quiet here today and was able to search undisturbed. Sneaky container! Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Signed log and replaced as found.
I| have been meaning to look for this one for quite a while. It is a high muggle zone and I have just not had the chance. I woke up early this morning and headed straight down to GZ. There was not a muggle in sight and I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

Huzzah, first cache of 2019, found with quigory. I tried to find this one several months ago on my last trip to the island, and was really stumped. Spent ages, trying not to look conspicuous and eventually gave up. About 100 caches later, I have a much better idea of what to look for and laid my hands on right away today. Happy new year and TFTC.

Long weekend island caching with lochb and G&J of GJMMelb, this was one of the caches I found, no doubt thanks to the hint, as we made our way along the north side of the island. TFTC
Due to the Mega being in Melbourne we (GJMMelb, quiet1_au and lochb) decided we needed a caching weekend away somewhere and Phillip Island really fit the bill. So here we are, this was the first morning and having a puppy that wakes us up at home at dawn o’clock, I (JMelb) was very keen to have a sleep in so we had a very leisurely morning with a 9am sleep-in then pancakes for breakfast. We finally headed off with this being the fourth cache. q1 made the find of the nice hide We may have used our special group stickers and replaced the cache and set off to the next one.

Another day and another adventure was the plan for DAB and I. We were off to visit the Island to cache the day away. We left at the crack of dawn with a car filled of snacks, drinks and supplies. We had a target list of caches and did well completing them with a few DNF's for the day. A great day out with good company!
Another location a bit further along on our list today. The area was pretty quiet except for when a muggled pulled up next to us and decided to slowly walk around. AFter he was out of sight we went in for the cache. The clue helped here and without to much time passing, the cache was located.
**Thanks for hiding this cache BorisB & Natasha for us to find and enjoy**

With a bit of time off work this week, it was easy decision to fill in some time with geocaching. After some messaging to and fro, myself and Na'wal decide on Phillip Island. I had cached here years ago, so I was very keen to return here once again. We hit the road nice and early and had an enjoyable trip up from Geelong. It turned out to be a great day and we were spoiled with great scenery everywhere we looked.
We are glad we did these caches before the peak tourist time. I imagine it would get very busy here over summer. Thanks to all of the CO's for their effort in placing and maintaining these hides. TFTC BorisB&Natasha

Going for a drive and taking in some scenery today we managed to drop by a for a quick park and grab, found by Mrs Hp while searching the area and also keeping an eye out for passing muggles, thanks BorisB&Natasha for the hide.
This was a great cache. Very clever. We came without a pen. We will have to come back another day to sign
William, Poppy, Mummy and Nanny.

1st time to the Island and the first cache for niece and nephew. Well done Madds and Jimmy
Replaced log with a new waterproof one. There was still a few places left on the old one for more signatures though.

What a great find... this is why im into caching... a great one to show how complex and fun geocaching is!
On an adventure around Phillip Island with the person who introduced me to geocaching and learning how to find some of the more obscure caches. Always a treat to spend time with my ex-Kiwi, now-Ozzie mate! TFTC
Decided to do some post breakfast caching along the coast with pa5key. TNLN, Log is almost full. TFTC. BorisB&Natasha
On holiday with the family (Barking Bron & Super O) doing a tour from Sydney along the coast to Melbourne and on to Adelaide.
