Hi

I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Traditional Caches of "Balcombe Heights Estate #5" http://coord.info/gc6yb5v and
"Balcombe Heights Estate #3" http://coord.info/gc6yb5m

It will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachesaturation

I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

Regards
John

I'm trying to hit 2000 caches before the end of the year so with 30 still to go, needed a bit of a boost and thought this series was the perfect opportunity. I parked on Watkins Rd and by the time I had the app open on my phone I was already well past #3. Well I wasn't going to start at #1 anyway so I guess no harm starting at this one which was a quick find with only a single stand out area to search.

I headed out today with the intention of finding "numbers", but I like getting the numbers that come we good quality hides and offer a nice walk plus discovering somewhere new. Decided to head for The Hills to keep me busy today. (3/17 finds).

Continued on my walk on this lovely mild day and was able to go straight to the GZ with thanks to the hint. Amazing that this doesn't get muggled by gardeners. Liked the arty camo. Saw the Masonic School at the top of the hill which is quite impressive. Thanks Sicad69.

Today it was decided to go out with goingplaces2 to find the caches in the Balcombe Heights Estate series. Was able to park close to GZ and with no muggles around the cache was found quickly and easily. We both signed the log and then replaced the cache as found. Thank you Sicad69 for the series.

12-Sep-17
The parking area near this cache was very handy as we teamed up with Phantom Cyclist to try and find this series of caches. #4 was very quickly found as there were no muggles around to slow the hunt down. Both names were added to the log paper and all was put back where it was found before moving on to the next one on our list. Thank you Sicad69 for a series with good variety.

This place caught my attention this morning when I was looking at where I would do a spot of caching on my weekly trek from the Central Coast to Windsor. Apart from there being a nice cluster of caches here, I realised when I arrived that this I where my mother lived and went to school for a time after her father, who was a mason, passed away back in the 1940's. Would be interesting to find out in which building she lived back then ... I'll have to ask if she remembers.

This one was the 5th cache I visited on my tour of the estate and it was probably the most straightforward to find of all the caches on the estate.

Thanks for this cache and for bringing me to Balcombe Heights Sicad69.

#4259- After a crap week and a poor caching start to the day this series came along to make me feel better about myself. Thanks

16-Jul-17
Probably the easiest one yet, only took a few moments to find, sign and return.

Nobody about made this very easy.

Feels like we are following WaywardWoman around as we can see that she has found all of these just before us, and all on the same day. I wonder what time of day she came through here.

Thanks for the cache!

Started this series earlier this year but for some reason only three showed up in my PQ even though the attributes matched them all. Back up this way today, knocked the rest of them off (plus revisiting the ones I’d done as I’d misplaced the codes). Lots more muggles about being school holidays but easily grabbed them all on a quick drive around the estate. A nice variety of camo ideas to be discovered.

#3176 4 of 7 today.

In Sydney for the weekend. Heading back after lunch today so I cast about for some quick caches when this little series popped up on my radar and not too far away. I was most surprised by what I found, this was a large Masonic school with lots of wonderful buildings. The local council has done well to retain this as a community facility and it was popular today. Not too bad for winter. It is winter isn't it ?

TFTC Sicad69.

On our way to picking up this one we admired some of the buildings on this estate. I didn't know that SES was also located here.

As we passed the parking lot for the church next door, my little boy noticed a tennis ball lying next to the fence, but on the other side. So our first task was an activity in nimble hands, trying to grab the ball and pass it from hand to hand, all the way up the other side of the fence until I could grab it at the top. My son was most delighted to have a ball to play with. Then we saw another one lying in the flower bed, but a little too far to reach this time. So before picking up the cache we had to make a little excursion around into the parking area to pick up that tennis ball, too.

Finally, back on track to looking for the cache. It was quickly spotted -- not all that well covered. We grabbed that and went through the process of getting the number for the final cache, as well as signing the log. Then Liam hid the container again and made a good job of covering it a little better so that it would not be too visible to muggles.

Onwards to number five in the series ...

Straightforward - although the last cache of the day. My son declared that he deserves dark chocolate and some nice soft drink after all that walking and hard work at BHE#2 (;)) ... pleasant addition to the series. TFTC

Finished work in the area and I live not far away. I've been wanting to do this series for some time now. Made my way to the end of Eucalyptus Crescent to start my circuit around the park to the caches.
This was a quick and easy find. Second name on the new log. I took note of the clue. On to the next cache.

I have been meaning to do this series for a while now, and today turned out to be the day. I Started at number 1 and worked my way south, criss-crossing as I went, and ended up at the Mystery.

This one was a quickie, even with the air-conditioning guys on the nearby roof.

All in all this series was very enjoyable, and going solo, I managed to complete it in 60 minutes.

Thanks Sicad69

The chase for the cache of the day had us out to the Hills area where we went for this cache. Nobody around, probably due to both the day and the weather, had us finding the cache quickly with no problems. Actually, we could see it from a distance but tried to hide it a bit better after having signed the log.

23-Feb-17
I continued my walk around the Balcombe Heights Estate. Unfortunately I had to venture out into the sun on the way to and from this cache.
It wasn't too bad as this was the easiest cache in the series, fortunately being a very quick find.
You are very exposed at this site, not only to the weather elements but possibly to muggles and may need to be quite stealthy at certain times.

I signed the log and visited some TBs and replaced the cache then continued my walk.

TFTC # 1832 and 4th find for the morning.

It was starting to get really hot as the sun came out to add to the humidity. Luckily this didn't take long. It wasn't that well hidden so after signing the log I replaced it with a bit more camo.

Thanks!

Back again with the geodogs, back is much better, no more spasms just stiff. Found the cache very quickly as there was no where else to look and then took the dogs back to the park. Nice to see a few of the same people and dogs as a couple days before, must be a regular thing for them to take their dogs to the park. SL #2899 on streak day #1673 TFTC

After finishing off my morning tasks i had enough time for a late breakfast and coffee and half an hour to cache before going to work. This cluster if cages drew my attention. It was only after I arrived that i realised that i had cached a lot here before. It's a shame that the other caches disappeared.
Walling around the park in the sun i could feel my thongs melting on the bitumen. Lucky these caches were quick to find and not too far apart!
Thanks for the caches.

This was a great series of caches which showcased a nice variety of hiding styles. We had a nice walk as a family on a lovely summer morning. It was a good opportunity to come back and do some caching in the estate, as all our previous finds have been archived. TFTC

#3640 (1 of 2 today)

Today is the first of three days in a row where I need to make finds in order to achieve my goal of five finds per calendar day by the end of the year. Today I need two finds.

This is also the final day of the cricket test vs Pakistan - we won. Again!
As the test ended mid afternoon I had time for a few finds *before* going to dinner with friends.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, unlike a few days ago where muggles threatened discovery in the black of night, the muggles were all at a respectful distance allowing two easy finds.

First I came here, where previously there was a couple yakking close by. Today, the nearest muggles were in the skate park.

Quick find - not sure how secure the hide is, though. Took a short distance to complete signing duties and grab the clue.

Then back for the replace. Now up the road ro my next target.
