It's been over a year since I last did any geocaching and I no longer have interest in maintaining this cache. Bye!
One of five caches we located at this reserve late today. A straightforward find once we’d let the dog walking family pass by. #2193. TFTC.
Was found it easy because that cache is sooo big ..special for Oldie Nöggi2 who spotted it first!! nice walk again today ..cheers from the Swiss guys!!!
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache the second time quickly, thanks.
This was my first geocache. It was really fun to find and I hope to find more!
This was my first ever find! Me and my kids started this for school holidays, so exciting! Thank you so much, I love finding stuff Still need to google how this whole thing works, but we’ll figure it out.
Even as it was approaching darkness, this was a fairly quick find although only after shining the phone's flashlight into the hide. The gps function of the app on my phone was little help other than indicating the location relative to the track. Standing at GZ and being told 59m is not helpful! Fortunately by now I've acquired enough local knowledge. TFTC.
Out here doing some ecological restoration on native plants for the day and decided that a spot of geocaching was in order before the last hour of Work needed to be done. Thanks for the cache! Excellent hint and very accurate coords. Ooh a lovely tui has just come to have a visit!!
Second quick find of the date with PhilBirdBoys, nice quick find, cache in excellent condition. Tftc.
A fun hide, had to dodge the usual Saturday afternoon muggles, but got in and out nice and quickly. Good hide, cheers
Found together with Greenkiwikids. We were looking at the wrong side of the walkwaz and wondered if the fallen tree was gone, but then we checked again and got it right. Nice hide. Tftc
Found with darkangel10151 on a day of Geocaching. Got some free transport cards so making the most out of It!
Nice quick and easy. TFTC

Easy find on the morning walk. Don't think anyone saw us hiding behind the fallen tree. Nice park walk, not what we are used to on Christmas Eve, as we come from the Northern hemosphere.
A nice day to pick up some geocaches, enjoyed the sunshine and the fresh air, thanks for placing this cache
I've replaced the bag the log is in with a new one which has the co-ordinates on it. Plus I've written them on the inside of the lid with (hopefully!) permanent marker, and put two extra laminated bits of paper in the with them on it. Also dropped off a couple of trackables I've had for far too long.
Nice quick find on a lovely spring afternoon. No one around but lots of dogs in the park. Picked up TB.
Quick find here, don't know why more people don.t use this trail, a bit of bush is much more pleasurable than open grass.

We had to collect a parcel this morning in the area so decided to come here after for a stroll and collect the caches as we went.a lovely area a nice easy find.containers are so nice and clean makes a change.
Spent about 10 min searching the obvious items fitting the hint but no luck for me.
Had been looking forward to today all week with another goal in mind to try to grab a few Auckland based caches that "obviously" needed collecting (as it would just be right). So at 4am I met up with RWIMF for a good days caching and an over ambitious plan (Home by 3.30pm). We signed most of these with "RWCD" or some such variation there of.
So today I managed a grand total of 54 finds (only 3DNF's) and plenty of conversation. All I can say for the days activity in Auckland was that traffic was all good till just before 10am and absymal for the rest of the time until we started heading for home so that I could still get some chores done for the day.
Had been looking forward to going for a walk here to stretch the legs a bit as it had been a while since I had cached here. Carrying on around we grabbed the last of the numbers that we needed, then it was off to see if we had it all right for the final. It always amazes me just how water logged the ground becomes around here. The cache was in great condition all Good. Nice simple find at GZ.
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Done & dusted... now just the bonus cache to find...
Was nice to find most of the caches in this park this morning
I'd received a message from cats & dragons asking if I wanted to do a mission a few weeks ago. I'd said "sure" at the time, but could I have a rain check as I was overseas. I arrived back in the country on Monday, and so the adventure was planned for the following Saturday. I said I'd be happy to start early, as long as it was my early not his - so we negotiated a 4pm pick up The good thing was we left Auckland at about 2pm, so was home at a reasonable time.

Out and about for a spot of cache detection today. Lovely weather for it. After performing maintenance on my nearby cache I made my way over here. No issue identifying GZ and then making the find. Jotted down the important digits before replacing. Cheers for the cache placements!
We use to play in this "park" as kids when it was not a park but scrub lands. Always nice to come back.
Nice sized container. Easy find. Enjoyed our walk around this park. Thanks chrishopenz.
Out shopping at Bunnings for some hardware and in the process I decided to clean the area for 1-2h before heading home. Saw a bunch of geocaches in this Reserve which made a nice afternoon walk. Easy find. TFTC
We came to do this series several weeks ago shortly after all the rain not realising that the park would be mostly underwater. Had to give up after the first cache that time so was back today to finish it off. Found this one quickly as it was quite exposed. Signed and put back with a little more cover. TFTC.
It was a nice sunny afternoon so we decided to visit the Waiatarua Reserve with the main aim being to find the caches for the Waiatarua Mystery. This was the first of the series we picked up. Enjoyed the walk through the Gums, thanks. No problem find the cache or collecting the bonus numbers.
