I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi LiverKiwi
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Look a quick look, but there’s a huge pile of rubbish here directly at the coords.
Yuck.
Yuck.
So many DNFs and a horrible pile of nasty rubbish, time for a check, relocation or something...
Hmm. If the location of the GPS is right, it should be in the middle of the grass strip. Looked all around but couldn't find. Didn't feel like digging in rubbish to look further
Out caching in East Auckland this afternoon, and this was our first stop. Lots of dumped rubbish near GZ. Replaced log with waterproof paper in a plastic bag. TFTC
Photo of cache as I couldn't get log out - there is also no lid to the cache, so log will get wet when it rains.

I found a bottle that contained a dissolving log because of missing lid. Lovely ‘mural’ nearby.tftc
After this morning “walk and finds” I decided to go out and explore an other area around here. This turned to be very disappointing. Not for few finds, but especially the GZ’s; never wondered so often for the reason of that particulair hide. Made me quit searching in the end....
Today I had some time to spare before I had to head to the airport and home. I decided to explore a bit of this area to see what I could find. Not quite what I was expecting. I found the log in the container as placed by the previous logger. No lid on container so a bit damp but still usable. Could do with a bit of TLC. TFTC, Biggles.
We went to the obvious spot according to GPS with no luck. Read previous post about it being +-5 away so widened search. Found the log on the ground woth no container in sight. Looks like lawnmower has beem thru. We found an old bottle and placed log in it and rehid it to try and keep log dry. If someone has a spare container may like to update this one. Photo attached of the container we used (not shown in actual location)
Popped for a few quick funds on the last day in the area. We searched here for a little while before we managed to find it

Thanks LiverKiwi! I have not found this today by I found it a little while ago with Cacheventures on a nice day. Logging now as just got account. Thanks!!
Family came to Auckland for shopping and catching up with relatives. I've come for a caching walk. Thanks for the cache.
Came here after doing the first one Celebrations - Valentines Day and Cachewnut searched by the river and I quickly spotted the sneaky little thing!!! Well done with this cache! TFTC
I'm back in Auckland for the weekend, and the weather looks far too dodgy for me to try to go too far from where I am staying in Pakuranga, so thought I would have another go at some of the local ones that I had failed to find on previous visits.
I had just found one which had been a previous failure, and was on the way to Musick Point to try for another, which took me through this neighbourhood where I'd never been before. So it seemed rude not to try to have a quick go for this one.
It had not long finished absolutely hosing it down, with Thunder and Lighting to emphasis the point, so the approach to GZ made me grateful that I was wearing my hiking boots. Very boggy indeed. Once I had got to where I needed to be, the coords were pointing me in the direction of 1 particular spot, but I couldn't find a cache there. As it turns out, the cache was hidden on the opposite side but was still within 5m of the published coords so no real problem. There was absolutely nobody around so I was able to sign the logsheet at my leisure and replace it all as found before heading off to the next one.
Thanks for the placement, and hopefully I will get to meet you at my event tomorrow

Cache still there in correct place. Actually had to re-hide as it could be seen as it was approached. Also checked co-ordinates and it they are correct.
Like a lot of the other "Celebrations" caches, this one is not very well maintained and has a long trail of DNF's, time for it to go and make way for others
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
spent way too long looking, with what seems like inaccurate co-ords and no idea of what is been looked for we gave up
In the area waiting for geokid so decided to grab a couple of caches between showers. Neighbours are very close here so had to be stealthy but managed to find the cache. All in good shape. TFTC.
We had to be a bit careful here as the muggles were out in their back yard. We spend a few mins here but were worried that we had been spotted so made our way over to Christmas before coming past again on the way back. All good here
Strange little reserve, but a nice hiding spot. Compass coordinates were out by a bit but we found it in the end. Tftc
Saturday afternoon, stressful morning at the shops so an afternoon to unwind and look for some more local caches. Been here before and not found it, maybe overthought this one, as there are a few hiding places (if a wobbly phone GPS points there). Others say its easy, so back today, phone GPS stopped at one place. Sure enough, it's right there, a quick find today. With more found caches comes more experience, getting there slowly. Great series in the 'hood, much appreciated. TFTC (ps. great painted utility box nearby, will upload a photo).
Heading towards the holidays so I thought it would be appropriate to come and grab a couple more of these caches. Nice quick find TFTC, for filling a dot day on my calendar and for continuing my daily streak (Day #338)
looked for this one before when i was starting out but failed miserably. Came back now i have more experience and found it very quickly. Nice to get this smiley face at last.
This one gave me heartache on an earlier visit, but today it literally jumped into my hands when I searched for it. TFTC.
I noticed something interesting at the GZ so I investigated. Sure enough my hunch was correct. Found fairly quickly.
I came here, the metal fence mentioned in previous logs is still here btw but in no way hinders the search for the cache. Took me awhile to find the cache because I got distracted by a type of hide I myself might well use, so after giving that a good going over I decided to look elsewhere. Why don't I try there, an obvious spot.. Oh there you are little treasure! So signed myself in then moved on. Thanks LiverKiwi for the cache.
Walked straight passed to find another one, went long way around the block but quick find in the end
Walked to this one between the houses from the previous cache as the entrance from the road is fenced off. A fairly quick find here thankfully. TFTC!
Team Welsh rang up and suggested another day of caching. Who was I to turn down an invitation like that. It was nice out East Auckland today. Another celebration was had.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
I explained to Tufty that I had DNF'd this a couple of weeks ago when out caching with Trout-fly so he said we should go and have another look. Tufty found it where Trout-fly had looked so I could almost hear his mumbling from here. Glad to turn it into a smiley.
Yeah, nah. Thought we were in the right place and found what we thought was a good spot but no luck for us. Notice that the fence is fairly new but also note that the cache has been found recently. Oh well, next time
Was at a friend's nearby for a shared lunch. It was suggested that there were a few nearby caches that we could attempt, so with a small merry band that's what we did. Nice quick find here, which was good as the local mosquito population was starting to come out for a feast. TFTC
After finding Christmas Day, it was appropriate we wandered down to celebrate Boxing Day. Mr Jag50 found it in the first place he looked, I'd looked there too but obviously not well enough!
Needed a cache for my geo calander. Had been putting it off all day as I have been busy. Then at 10:17pm I remembered something "FLIP...I haven't got my cache yet!"
So luckily I had a few caches close buy......so out I went....head torch in place.
Thankfully it was a quick easy find

Yip ...truly was first place I looked ! Thanks LiverKiwi !
Bit of a grotty back yard for these families though ...

Quick birthday find for Phil! Just had a most delicious dinner at Marina Cantina down at the marina. Cannot recommend highly enough. SL TFTC
Arrived at GZ before any of the neighbours woke up, hopefully. Nice quick find. TFTC
Day 44 of a 50 day caching streak done as part of my current geolicence I was a little nervous about the proximity of the houses especially as one looked right down on GZ, but luckily it was a quick find so I was in and out of there quick as a flash TFTC!
Needed to find a few caches within the week they were published for my current GIO Licence stage, so decided to come to this one today as we were nearby. It was also a day of "Celebrations" for me, as it was my birthday, so Mr NewlynFam had to agree to a bit of caching
Parked nearby and wandered along to GZ. No one around, and the cache was very quickly found in a spot that was just calling out to us once we got to GZ. Very much a family affair- retrieved by Mr NewlynFam, checked out by Wolfie109, and log signed by me! Replaced in it's spot, and then headed off to continue the birthday celebrations!

Nice easy find for the kids, quite a funny little area. Heading down it looks like its fenced off. Tftc
Nice quick easy find. Received notifications of new cache on mobile , l pad and laptop but when I arrived at GZ the cache was not showing on mobile. Had to return home to look at satellite directions and very quickly had cache in hand.
