Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

There is a fence around the geocache at present whilst building works takes place - the ever updating Barangaroo. Cache appears still is place, has always been a tricky find - will update once the fence comes down.
Any chance of updating the co-ordinates? The current set put it over 50m away in the middle of Hickson Rd. Several co-ords have been suggested in the logs by previous finders:
fdsawq 33 51.858 151 12.165
jackscruff 33 51 858 151 12 165
KidRonSatan 33 51.859 151 12.168
MrDamage 33 51.859 151 12.162
MrDamage's would be the closest, in my opinion. Having accurate co-ords lessens frustrations of finders and opens up other areas for new caches to be placed.

Still no word from the CO. This cache appears to be abandoned. Time to bring it to the attention of a Reviewer.
There's been no response from the CO to MrMalkovich's NM log from a month ago. This cache at the minimum needs disabling until its current status can be determined. I'll give the CO another month and hopefully we get a response in that time.
No luck for me here today. The GPS bounced all over the place so couldn't get an accurate fix on GZ. The clues and the cache title made no sense at all so I guess they are tied up in the construction zone. It's interesting that the cache icon on the map is in the middle of the road.
Construction of the second timber building (Daramu House) has commenced at Barangaroo, and GZ has been fenced off. It could be fenced off for a while, as construction is expected to complete in late 2019. See here for more:

Need CO to check if cache is retrievable.

Used the hint. Used a PAF, dodged the muggles in suits. No cache for me today, despite boldly searching in all the hiding spots I could find. Will try again another time (maybe a Sunday afternoon when not as many people are around!)
Family and I are visiting Sydney from Brisbane this weekend. On a chilly Saturday morning I headed out to find a few caches. Plenty of roadworks going on along here, but far enough away from GZ and not many muggles about. This was the prime time to find this cache. Thanks to the hint and some previous logs I was able to narrow down a location to search as the GPS and the phone were both going crazy with the buildings. Spotted what I was after and with the aid of a nifty tool I carry soon had the cache to hand.
This is one of the newly designed areas of Sydney that I had not been to before. It took me a few minutes to figure out the cache location, but then I found it.
Turned up at 7am to avoid the muggles. Then returned a bit later after thinking about the hint. However, it is too well hidden for us. Thanks anyway.

Quick find with a break in the rain! Feeling lucky now as this was a dnf for me some time ago. Now I know where it is and I can help be a PAF

Finally cleared this DNF after ‘finding’ the cache some time back but not being able to extract it during work hours due to location and muggle activity. Needed geokids assistance after visiting vivid. They managed to get CIH quickly and we had it signed and replaced in no time. TFTC
Not so easy, so many muggle the days before.
Early in the morning I started an other try ... after a while, I found it.

Just a note as coords were out for me here.
As I recall: Due to heavy muggle traffic; now, Keep your back to the escalator, bar to your left facing the blue, and close to tie your shoe laces.

Seems such a shame we couldn't find it on a day when we had the entire place to ourselves. Will have to source more info and return.
My only find this evening with a mammoth DNF search at MathAqua providing fruitless there.
Well satellite image is useless to line up objects, anyway, awhile to hunt it down.
A slow caching afternoon for me, thanks lookylookyloates

I came back here today and was looking for along time but then I read the hint and comments over and over and got close to the cache as I wanted to give up I got help from the previous finder!
Great and very hard hide!
Good luck catchers!
Think about the hint and "under the bridge.."

The iPhone was all over the place, at least I had good company with me, thanks for the impromptu team we made today Roomate, keep up with the fun of caching, RS.
Looked for quite a while with Rainbow Spirit. Tough one cause gps is jumping around very wild cause of the high buildings. Hoping to find it next time
Last time I came here the GPs had me all over the place. Across the road, up the street, in a mall, on a footpath. You name it, I was there, but no chance to really look for the cache as there was fencing around the area.
Today I came back with a previous finder, and although the compass was still about 20m out, I realised I never had to worry about the fencing in the first place and using the hints, I had small area to work in. Still took awhile, as it seemed to have moved according geobuddy, but with some careful poking and concentrating on horizontal, I eventually had CIH. So glad to change this to a smiley and take it off my watch list. I just hope I didn't push it back in too far for the next seeker! TFTC

I had an event on in the city and decided to stick around to do some caches while I was in the area. Normally, I do not like caching in the city, due to the hoards of muggles but weekends tend to be a lot quieter (depending on where you are). To start things off, I thought it was a good opportunity to return to a few previously Did Not Find caches.
The first was the 'Neo doesn't work here anymore' Multi Cache (GC2WT25). Last time I was here, endless streams of muggles with dirty dirty habits foiled my attempts at retrieving the final cache. This time, however, the coast was clear and I was able to make the find after a process of elimination. Thanks For The Multi Cache rinsemesocks.
'Down the Well' (GC6F0F7) in The Rocks was up next. I had a better idea what I was looking for and re-adjusted my expectation about the size. A fairly quick find here. Thanks For The Cache The Rocks Sydney.
Another one which had previously stumped me was 'The (ex)Spots of BarangarBLUE' (GC6YTJB) in Dawes Point but proved a little better this time with some additional intel about the apparent issues with the accuracy of the co-ordinates. Thanks For The Cache lookylookyloates.
Continuing past the construction works on Hickson Road, I stopped by one of my favourite newest places, Barangaroo, for the 'Ozymandias' Virtual Cache. I was away when this cache was originally published, and also for the landmark's decommissioning and removal, so it was interesting to see how the site now looks. The skyline looks a little different from when we held the 'Sydney is Leaping into 2016 [Barangaroo]' event (GC67XGW) to celebrate the leap year back in 2016. I knew exactly where to go, as the question for the virtual cache happens to be the exactly the same as the very first question and answer for the 'Koabangan' game we ran. Logging with approval from the Cache Owner, Thanks For The Virtual Cache fimbulisen.
The 'Hidden History 12 - A short tour.' Mystery Cache (GC1KN8E) turned into being a long tour, having to collect the information over multiple visits but the final was nice and quick. Thanks For The Mystery Cache Riblit.
I proceeded to Circular Quay for the 'Sydney Opera House Shells - CLAY' Earth Cache (GC74WCT). I was lucky enough to claim a joint First To Find on the other Earth Cache here but was unavailable when this one was published. Answers sent. Thanks For The Earth Cache 2qt2bstr818.
I had solved the final location of the 'customs house' Multi Cache (GC6M2M1) earlier, so went straight to Ground Zero to finish it off. Love the scale model of Sydney at Waypoint 1 and the views at the end were just as nice. Thanks For The Multi Cache urban_cachers.
Continuing to Potts Point, I stopped by 'Embarkation Park' (GC7HCBX) for a short rest and a quick find. Nice views of the naval ships from here! Thanks For The Cache oxplot & foxforic.
Morry9 was free in the late afternoon and picked me up at this point. We headed to 'Wobbly' (GC433EA) in Bellevue Hill and enjoyed returning to this amazing place, Cooper Park. Following the hint, we reached the cache easily enough, and salvaged a dumped share bike and a bunch of discarded bottles on the way out. The CITO Crusaders strike again! Thanks For The Cache superslothsonya - one step closer to completing the series.
Targeting another Regular sized cache, we set 'By The Bay V2' (GC4R40Q) in Coogee as our next target. A surprisingly nice landscape on the way to the published co-ordinates, the cache proved to be a quick find. Thanks For The Cache superslothsonya.
The 'Wedding Cake Anyone' Mystery Cache (GC74ZZJ) was within arms reach (or suitable driving distance), so we headed over to the final location to take in the awesome views. A rainbow began beaming from the clouds as we retrieved the cache from its hiding spot. Thanks For The Mystery Cache oldmorty.

Took forever to get my gps to point me to (correct) gz. Once I got there, it took too long to realise where cache may be, at which point I had to return to work. I’ll be back now I (think) know where to look. Probably be better when less muggles around too.
Found with sister in law from Melbourne. I think this was my third attempt. Yeah finally got it
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Find#: 1095
Found on: 23 February 2018 15:41
Buddies: none
Muggles: lots of office types around
Weather: cloudy
Cache condition: good
Found the cache quickly, but it was a lot of struggle to get the camo out of the hidey hole. In the end a nice long screw that was laying nearby did the trick.

Pretty sure we have searched for this before but for some reason didnt log a DNF. Happy to say its definatley still here, just a bit difficult to retrieve TFTC
We tried to interpret the hint and sort a possible go. No luck today. Great location!
Thanks

Another visit and another DNF . Mrs A and I searched high and low using the very specific hint. Even a PAF didn't help, so we left disappointed.
Took me 2 visits. The first one had we way out with no sign of park of cafe. Today, I tried another location and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
About a year and a bit ago we went on a Geocaching trip that included this cache, but on that trip we had failed to find it, despite the lack of people in the area. This day provided the opportunity for us to avenge a DNF.
After dragging two muggles with us to introduce them to the hobby, Foreignnebula scoured the area, finally paying attention to the hint and finding the clever little thing where it was hidden. Log signed, we returned it and went on our merry way. Muggles are amused but we’ll win them over yet! Thanks for the hide!

After a visit a few months back and some guidance from CO, returned to easily find this smiley. TFTC
18:25 fell asleep to the escalator song while waiting out two pairs of people who appeared to be ... just ... sitting ... at the nearby tables. Nothing is open on a public holiday!
Log dry, plenty of room, pencil sharp.
Since coord accuracy is a known and noted problem, I replaced as found: 2nd.

Despite the co-ordinates being somewhat wayward. However, using the hint we quickly found the cache area. Sadly we could not find the actual cache. The CO is correct; the Shirt Bar does serve exceedingly good coffee!
#4415- When I knew I was coming into the city on a 'Walking chocolate tour' and that I would have some free time after, I researched a few nearby caches. I must admit that this one did not fill me with hope- so many hit and misses... So, knowing this, I contacted a paf beforehand. He gave me some info, so that it should have been an easy find. There were still a few problems. Firstly, it had moved since he found it, and secondly, the barrier directly in front of the cache location did not help. I managed, since on a Saturday afternoon with the nearby business closed, to move the barrier enough to get in and feel it. Pulled the end off, signed the log and replaced without removing the cache container.
I can see why so many are having trouble with this one.. Thanks though, great to have got it and made it smile.

I decided to go for walk/jog after work and try and find a few more caches in the area. I tried looking for this one previously but got confused by where the coords were leading me too. Scouring previous posts i found some better coords. Using these and the hint i made a quick find even though there was a temporary barrier in the area. TFTC
Thanks lookylookyloates for the cache. It was found in Good Condition

Found the blue park. Found the shirt bar. But too many muggles to search thoroughly. Maybe next time. TFTC
Had a few failed attempts on this one in the past. Pretty easy now with all the good hints in prior logs. So quite happy to get this one on a quiet Sunday evening in town. TFTC #478
On our last morning in Australia we found some caches. This on way the last one and it was verry difficult. Thanks says tabiocca from Switzerland
3rd attempt here. Going past today so had another try. Yes we did look here but as co said it was pushed way to far in. We got it .
I originally came to get this one several months ago. Like everyone else has said, coords are quite out but I had enough info from the description to start searching. Took me a while still with all the muggles but I finally found it's hiding spot! CIH SL!! Feels good to get this one off my DNF list!!!! Cache# 538 TFTC
Checked in cache - it had been pushed in way in - been rescued with the aid of a metal ruler so Cache is ready to be found once again - good luck
Detoured off the Seven Bridges walk and early on a Sunday had no one around. 15 minutes or more of unsuccessfull hunting again. This one is turning into a bane cache.
Hello all, checked in the Cache following the works in this spot - it is still there waiting to be found. Please remember that the location is still a little off due to the buildings and line of sight. Please shout if you would like a clue or need a hint or two.
Come back and still no luck for me so DNF for me Not happy jan. Please see the pic.
Orginally had this as a found, but pretty sure we found a part of something else. Went back another time and area was fenced off. Will check again though.
Found it, but the coordinates are not much help. Logs got me to the right area then there was a bit of searching around.
Wasn't sure if the cache was in gaol or not (see image) so checked one alternate location but in absence of good coords and specific hint not worth searching in such a high muggle area.
While in the city I went searching for this one and found it quite quickly. Heaps of muggles!

Took us a bit to find as the gps was pointless. But we got there in the end. No pen unfortunately. Thanks for the cache.
Find this with a PAF as I had GZ some 20m away. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

There was construction fencing all around the most likely places a cache could be and still fit in with the hint. This did tend to discourage me from looking very hard in the few less likely places that were still accessible.
Hard with security hanging around what a shit city this has become because of right wing extremist scare campaigns. Tftn
This IS a nice hiding spot. We struggled like other finders but just stayed patient, found the bar referred to and then it was a case of narrowing down the hiding spot options. Success felt good here! We definitely earned the beer and fries we enjoyed after this one, TNLNSL TFTC, nice little container too
Found 12:15 pm. Coords are way out, even the next ones posted when using GPS took me still too far away. I needed a little bit of help. But the hint about keeping the Bar to your left is good. I make out the coords when using maps such as google earth to be S33° 51.859 E151° 12.162 which is very close to Team Canary but you need to use map view rather than GPS location. Muggles everywhere, I had to be sneaky, a duck down kind of pretend to be picking something or shoe laces and then back up again. Did anyone notice me hmm doesn't look like it. Signed the log after sitting down. Now back to replace the cache, a quick duck down again and quick placement.
I happened to be in the area for an interview and had a bit of time to kill. My PAF gave me the information to know where the bar was and where to position myself since I hadn't been here before since the new precinct has been built.
Thanks for the cache.

I decided to hop the train into town today and look around the new areas of Barangaroo which I hadn't seen since it was completed. While I had been around this area before (we have some equipment on the now disused King St Wharf) it must have been prior to this being placed.
The listed coords had me on the opposite corner, maybe for one like this it would be better to get them off Google Earth like you need to for the Melbourne laneways as the GPSr just doesn't work. Trying the last listed set got me closer but still no cache even though the hint matched. Tried to do a PAF to the last finder but he didn't answer, so a bit more of a look and spotted the hide. Thanks for the cache, then it was on for a pleasant stroll around the new parklands.

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature. Then we drove from Melbourne over Canberra, Batemans Bay, Wollongong, The Blue Mountains to Sydney and stayed there for three days.
This traditional Cache we have also found. We log it as "GER-17". Thank you for this Cache.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.

On our vacation this year, we did a great trip as GER-17 to Australia.
GER-17 are DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, de Eifelaner and murri24.
We started the tour in Melbourne where we spend a few days sightseeing and caching, including some trips out of the City to the Grampians an to the Great Ocean Road.
Nice place to be and to see.
From Melbourne we went to Alice Springs including Ayrs Rock, where we saw some nice sunsets and other great stone formations and spots.
Back in Melbourne we started by car to go to Sydney along the coast with zig zags into the blue mountains and Canberra.
Finally we arrived in Sydney and spend here the last day of our holidays with caching and sightseeing.
During this trip we found this box.
