Had to wait for some school kids to slowly amble by before making a grab. Room for 1 more then will need a new log.
M found the cache quickly. WE are geocaching in Timaru today in irder to achieve our ascent of Mount Everest. While we were there we saw the multi which starts in the same spot and decided to have a go at that too.
On a trip south from Tauranga. Nice to collect smiles along the way. All good here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Logged with permission. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

On a quicky weekend getaway down to the South Island (from Wellington). I flew into Christchurch on Saturday morning, and then drove down to Timaru for the night. Drove back up to Christchurch Sunday afternoon and flew home late Sunday night. My goal was to catch up with a friend in Timaru, and to target a few specific caches that I need, and a few others just 'cos. This is one of them.
I was up early today and as I was waiting for my caching companion to be ready for our mornings expeditions, I grabbed a few more caches around town. All good here, TFTC

Visiting RAYZR in Timaru having chats re weird cachers (as was confirmed later in the day) and other geocaching related stories of course had dinner cooked for me was a plus too. Then off to his closest cache placement. Found and he performed his maintenance which wasn't really needed. Cache in good shape! Thanks for the warm welcome Ray..will be off to find a few more of yours tomorrow
Grabbed a TB to travel around down south to new territories.

Found on a quiet morning while I was waiting for the shops to open. Easy find. Wouldn’t have stopped here if it weren’t for the cache thank you.
Had been holed up near Timaru during the past 2 days of bad weather. With the sun now out it was time to head outdoors for some caching. Found myself parked nearby so I decided to visit this little cache. Thanks to the hint it was a quick find. Cheers.
We biked here after visiting the Basilica This Queens Birthday weekend JDScout and I decided to head over to Timaru in the campervan. Thank you RAYZR for this cache.

Couldn't find it at all. Probably wasn't best time to look as lots of muggles around.
A quick find here while walking (via a somewhat devious route) back to my motel after dinner in town. Signed log, TFTC!
I had dinner and then came out looking for a couple of caches.
I had this one in my hand relatively quickly.
Cheers for the cache.

This was a nice quick find after the rain had stopped for a while. On our way home from Dunedin and time for a break. TFTH
with the level 3 restrictions lifted on COVID-19 it is now deemed safe to find caches again. keep safe and follow the guidelines as set out by our government.
TFTC - grabbed after visiting the Maori Rock Art center before heading north
It’s still in place and in good shape, although it was sticking out into view a little too much. So, now it’s back in place and a little more covered. Enjoyed a little walk around this part of town and wish I’d had time to do the multi too. TFTC!
Used to go to school at Timaru College based near here and came to the tuck shop over the road many a time. The college relocated years ago and building now the Aoraki Polytech. Quick find. TFTC
Heading home from picking up a car in Wellington. Off the ferry and heading home but had to get a few caches on the way. This was nice and easy to find TFTC
In Timaru for an daffodil show. An early Sunday morning (daylight saving) walk to find some more caches. Quick find. Thanks RAYZR for the cache.
In Temuka for the weekend and was planning on an event for International Geocaching Day but the recent rain meant not ideal for a bonfire so it was cancelled. An afternoon trip into Timaru for a bit of shopping and a quick detour to grab a cache. A nice quick find here just as it started to rain again TFTC
Quick find in the deserted street. Time to keep driving to get to my destination! TFTC!!
Well that turned into quite an adventure as a first look turned up nothing, but a thorough search was what was needed. Replaced with a substance on top and put closer to the corner. Thanks R.
In Timaru for an overnights family adventure. Stayed the night in the Top10 ...up and atoms and a morning bike ride around saltwater creek. Time for a couple caches around town before heading for home. Quick stop here. Cheers.
Gee quite a few from one school which is a bit sobering. I thought I might be passing through on the right day at the right time to get the heavy metal cache but no and it also looks as though there are major repairs happening at the church anyway. So this was the next closest and it was a nice quick find with no one about. TFTC # 13,659
Wow that was harder than we excepted.. But super find thanks so much from Australia
Unbelieveably I have to wait to a muggle shopper moved on and then a quick swoop.
Thanks

#15747. We remembered DNF'ing a cache with the same name in this general area, and thought we were stopping for another look. Turned out this was a new cache (for us), but it was still worth the stop (a smiley and a pie!). TFTC.
Our last day in Waimate, so we thought we'd better find some Waimate caches before heading back home to Christchurch . We set out at 8am on a grey dismal morning, eager to find as many caches as possible before the forecast rain started (luckily it remained dry until late morning).
We spotted this cache as we drove through Timaru, so decided to stop and look for it, thinking it was another cache we had DNFed (it must now be archived). We spotted a Couplands bakery a little further down the road, so first things first, we headed there to buy a pie each for lunch. While scoffing the pies, we read up about the cache then realised our mistake. Cache was a quick find. Thanks Rayzr2.

Our first cache of a road trip south and we thought it was going to be a dnf due to muggles. But as we approached they moved off so was a quick find.
Our third day led us from C. to T. We learned a lot of new things about NZ. A big walk around Timaru brought us to this place. TFTC!
