Thank you for the great cache! It was a lovely walk along the beach. Lots of fun!!!
We were out doing the TTSS trail. We had our lunch at this beach and it was nice to go for a walk along the beach afterwards. TFTC
Thanks for the cache, what a beautiful location and I would never have come here if it was not for your cleverly placed cache. Enjoyed the walk along the peaceful beach.
G'day hoolahoopspink, thanks for the cache. On a 5 night break in Orford. Not much happening today, so I ventured out to grab a couple of caches. There were already 6 or 7 vehicles when I parked! Turns out no geocachers though!I really enjoyed my solo walk along the beach, barefoot splashing my way along.A quick find at GZ, but I couldn't find my pen, so I'm glad the cache was well pencilled!Found my pen on the ground when I got back to the car! Thanks for bringing me here.Cheers, EPs Happy Birthday Paddy/DIL xx
TFTC. Sneaky but easy find with hintFound with TB# TM0HXRLovely walk along the beach and some beautiful shells. Container is broken and water inside. Log is dry inside ziplock, but ziplock is broken I positioned cache so broken part was down to hopefully stop some of the water getting in.
We're spending a few days in Orford doing the nearby TTSS caches and just generally looking around.
Today we started down this area and walked out to this one.
The walk was enjoyable and along the way TG collected plenty of shells.
At GZ the cache was easily located and our names added to the log.

During finding some more of the TTSS Letterbox hides, i decided to quickly duck down to this only Trad in the area on my map.
Parked up and took the 1.1km (2.2km return) beach walk to this quick find. Naturally i left my pens back at the car [:o)] so i was at the mercy of whether there was a pen or pencil in the cache. There was 2 pencils so i was saved... phew!

The cache and contents are fine and dry

{A lovely serene and quiet beach here away from most of the more easily accessed and populated beaches, with a stunning view of Maria Island}

One of the most beautiful beaches we’ve been to. Was a bit of a trek to get to the cache but definitely worth it! Shocked to see blue bottles on the beach down this far!
Today we went for a drive to find 4 caches in the area and to get the end of year souvenir. We enjoyed the lovely walk along the beach. Cache container damp but log dry. Left a TB. TFTC. Best wishes for a Happy New Year.
We finished our caching day by walking along the beautiful beach to this cache. Lots of different patterned shells here compared to home.
The container was full of water, which we tipped out. Could still sign the dry log in the plastic bag. TFTC

We arrived at Rheban Beach and a muggle and 2 mugglets were parked in the car park, so we set off along the beach for this cache.
Sadly it was high tide, so it was hard walking on the soft sand and there were very few shells (not a cowry to be seen ).
The reward was finding the cache and enjoying the views of Maria Is on the way.
Thanks for the cache hoolahoopspink.

While out and about today we found a few caches on the way and this was one of them.
We have been here before but did not have the time to walk along the beach, but today was the day, a cool breeze from the east made it a bit cold but an enjoyable walk and an easy find. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Today, we went for a family walk (well, 4 out of 5) asking Rheban beach just the way to the end. Today it was a mixture of overcast and sunny. It's been a while since I've been on this beach. The log was nice and dry as Nick had replaced the log. There was some moisture in the bottom of the container which i emptied.
I enjoyed the walk, views and beach.

I visited this geocache today on behalf of hoolahoopspink (my daughter). Someone had not shut the lid on it's container properly. I dried it out and installed a new log book.
This was a very nice beach to walk along. Lots of interesting shells, cuttlefish and blue bottle jellyfish. The cache was found easily thanks to good coordinates and good hint. Unfortunately we couldn't sign the log because the cache was saturated. TFTC
Second day of an East Coast Geoadventure. Could be a big one, so trying to log our finds in the order we found them. The intention is to go snaking off down the Rheban Rd and Wielangta. Now back at base camp doing the paer work. Thanks hoolahoopspink for an older one in a very nice location with not another human anywhere today. All in good condition.
After finishing the TTSS series I walked out to find this cache....its a fair way around by the time I got there I was needing a drink but didn't take one with me.
But of a walk out but sure worth it in such a beautiful place. My calfs knew about it!

Beautiful beach with an amazing amount of people visiting today for a walk. Worth the effort to go out to the end of the point if you have a bit of time. The cache is still here, albeit a bit damp. Left a pony to inspire previous cachers to maybe return with daddy for another look and a play on the beach. Thanks for inspiring me to come for a walk hoolahhoopspink.
Today I decided to have a day off to complete the Snake at Orford. Picked the day well as the temperature according to the car was 30 degrees. Perfect for a few caches and a walk along the beach!
Had a successful day finding all the caches I went for except could work out how to get to the trig at Louiseville.
Great walk along the beach to this cache. Cache is in good condition. TFTC

Out and about for a weekend at Orford with Lil Rafa. After attending a great breakfast event on Saturday morning and finding our initial batch of TTSS caches on Saturday afternoon, today we headed out to find a few more TTSS caches. After a full day of looking for TTSS geocaches, we headed back to Rheban beach for a late afternoon walk so I could grab this cache. TNBPLN. Log dry.
What a beautiful beach and awesome views of Maria Island. Definitely a spot to return to with the kayak. Dropped off a TB. TFTC!

Tassie Trip Day122 - Today saw us take a nice drive along the coast to see a few different aspects to the area and along the way we collected a couple of caches.
Wow what a wonderful place to see a lovely beach and take a stroll to collect this wonderfully place cache and collect our smiliey.
Thanks hoolahoopspink for this placement and the wonderful walk to the location.

After the last Cache (did not find) and a swim we set out for this One, kids very happy as they got yet another swim while I hunted down this cache, nice walk along beach and soon cache was in hand, took a smiley badge and put in a pretty bottle top. TFTC.
A leisurely stroll along the beach looking for purdy shells, alas did not come across any cowries. Cache a nice easy find and in great condition. Contemplated continuing the walk to the GA trig further along, however, too warm and too far away with so little time on my hands.. thanks..!!
Hi there hoolahoopspink.
We found your cache **"Rheban Beach"** at 11:59:00 AM today. (This makes our grand total 18850).
Another great day for caching. The sun is shining and there aren't too many clouds in the sky, so we decided that a drive around the coast road from Triabunna to Rheban would be a good place to bag some caches and have a picnic lunch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll along the beach. We found the cache out in the open. Looking at the hint, the clue referenced therein has been vandalised & burnt so we replaced the cache in the next suitable place, ensuring that the hint still applies!
We ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes on our journey. Today's cache count was 4 caches today, with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing the cache here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

It was a bit tough to stop collecting shells and go grab this cache Great beach! We added a few goodies to this nice sized container. TFTC!
Nice cache along a lovely beach. Views of Mercury Passage and Maria Island are superb. TFTC!
With the wind blowing and white caps in the bay we decided to go for a drive today as it certainly wasn't boating weather We'd visited this beach a couple of years ago but the lure of a cache had us revisiting today. It was a pleasant walk even though the conditions weren't the greatest but the serenity of a deserted beach with magnificent views made up for that and it didn't seem long and we were at GZ. I also discovered a lovely shell on my walk and when I picked it up to my surprise there was a hermit crab inside and I found another on my return walk along with a huge starfish! A nice quick find while Team M had a spot of fishing. SL TFTC hoolahoopspink.
Hello hoolahoopspink thank you for the cache.
Today I wanted to find a cache so I could get another souvenir that no one will see or care about and I had heard LilRaffa had left her GPS near this cache so I thought I would come this way to find the few caches that had been found after I was last this way.
As I walked along the beach I passed a group of muggles walking the same way I was going and at GZ spotted another group of muggles heading towards me so I decided to continue on along the beach and for another Km to find a Trig Point and on the return trip find your cache in peace.
On the way back I rang Lil Rafa to see where she had left her GPS, she informed me that it had been found yesterday so all was good. I continued along the beach and found the cache easily where I thought it might be when I walked past before.
Found at 1213

Thanks hoolahoopspink for the cache, it was our last find for 2017.
A beautiful location with great views across to Maria.
We enjoyed the walk along the beach collecting many shells.

Thanks for the cache hoolahoopspink! My friend and I have dogs that are the same age (well 1 week apart) so we like to get together a couple of times a year and take them somewhere a bit different and a bit special for a walk. We always try and set aside a day between Christmas and New Year, and this year it was today that we headed to Rheban Beach for a doggy play date. Although it was sunny, there was quite an onshore breeze happening as we walked along the beach - not that the dogs mind. This cache is located just past the dogs allowed zone, so we stopped here so I could quickly head up the beach and find the cache. Which I did successfully, I even successfully signed the log, returned and put the cache back. I also successfully dropped my camera in the sand and had my hat blown all whilst putting everything back in it's place. As it turns out I forgot to pick up my GPSr as I walked away! As there were no other geocaches on my 'to find' list for the day I had no reason to look for it until I was back in my friends car and we were on our way home Not to worry, only a very basic old GPSr, and it might just give me an excuse to come back and visit this beach in the not too distant future. Thanks for putting a cache here at this lovely beach which has amazing views of Maria Island, a favourite from me, definitely one for everyone to visit.
Hi hoolahoopspink
Just had to get out and about today; the call of plastic was too strong.
Arrived at the car park after a leisurely drive from the Huon and there was one other vehicle parked awaiting the return of its two muggle passengers and their two dogs; all; I passed half way along the beach.
At GZ, a quick find was had enabling me to Saint the cache at 1125hrs.
The walk back was just as enjoyable as was the walk to the cache
A great spot, beautiful views; especially on a day as nice as it was today
TFTC and cheers

When the sun comes out on a weekend there is no point hanging around at home so we packed up our snacks and bathers and headed for the coast. The first stop was Triabunna where we had lunch at the fish van. It certainly looks a permanent structure now.
After lunch and a wander around the wharf, we headed to the beach- Rheban Beach. We promised the girls a swim but only AFTER we walked along the beach to the cache. Imagine the moaning about the sand chaffing all the way there and back.
We walked along the beach in bare feet but I carried a pair of thongs, just in case. I'm so glad I did!
Once at GZ we made a quick find, took the TB since nobody has visited since it was dropped off. The walk back seemed quicker, doesn't it always? We stopped near the end and let the kids have play while we relaxed.
Thanks hoolahoopspink for getting us out for the day. It was fun.

Thought about a trip out to here yesterday but too many things already organised so planned for an early morning approach today. Very pleasant drive and great morning for a beach walk. Met some fisher-muggles near the parking area and then had a brilliant walk along the beach, fantastic views, glorious ocean, in fact such a beautiful area!!! Cache is in a well located, secluded spot and we were delighted to find a new book with no caching entries. Left a TB that desperately wants to stay close to water (it is in a brilliant spot here). Loved the return walk as the tide slowly moved out and had a chat to the fisher-muggles where the small muggle had caught a huge Bream and wanted to tell the full story.
Great start to the day.
