gemeinsam mit jufi* war ich eine woche in italien und dabei konnten wir viele dosen besuchen
gewohnt haben wir in einem hotel in florenz und mit dem mietauto sind wir viel herum gekommen
heute waren wir in rom inklusive vatican
die meisten dosen konnten wir problemlos finden, so wie diese hier [^]

Nous voici de retour dans le pays de Jules César, Christophe Colomb, Michel-Ange, Paganini, et pour être dans l’air récente sportive Totti, Buffon, Rossi j’arrête là car je pourrai en rajouter des lignes et des lignes.
Quel plaisir d’y revenir avec en plus, cerise sur le gâteau les caches à découvrir. La ville et les gens sont vraiment super et découvrir cette ville par le géocaching me réjouit.
Il nous a fallut pour certaines caches faire des recherches, utiliser nos méninges, mais ça en vaut la peine.

Siamo di nuovo nella terra di Giulio Cesare, Cristoforo Colombo, Michelangelo, Paganini, e di essere nel recente sport dell'aria Totti, Buffon Rossi mi fermo qui perché posso aggiungere più righe e righe.
Che piacere tornare à Roma e adesso o ancora il piacere di cercare delle cache da scoprire. La città e le persone sono davvero fantastiche e scoprire questa città attraverso il geocaching mi rende felice.
Ci sono volute alcune cache per fare qualche ricerca, per usare il nostro cervello, ma ne vale la pena .

After a whole week of hard work in Rome, I had the morning off to do some geocaching before returning to Norway. I had a 4 hours walk in some well known as well as some new places. Despite some DNFs, I found more caches than expected.

This cache was easily found.

We were indeed window shopping in the little lanes in the area and I made our direction past this cache.

I walked a round for a while before I read all the details and then it was a quick find.

Our short week in Rome was a fantastic time and we enjoyed the warm, sunny weather (apparently we got lucky). Touring around the Old City was lovely and fascinating. Unfortunately our geocaching experience was a bit of a downer, since there were not so many caches, and a fair share of them were missing ; it must be difficult to maintain a cache with so many Muggles around !
So I thank the owner for this one. We did it on our way back from a restaurant that quite deserved being ranked 9,300th out of 10,000 in the centre (we're lucky like that).
The description and hint were very intriguing, so much so that the actual Find seemed a bit ordinary !
... And then Metalyogi had to empty his backpack completely to find his logging stamp, which was rather funny in the almost deserted street.

The last day of my Rome visit. Again I was on the move in this interesting city and again I visited the city center and some areas around it. A lot of usually big old buildings to see and also a lot of usually small caches to discover.

Een citytrip van 4 dagen in Rome.
Mooie stad op gebied van de oudheid.
Verder soms niet echt aangenaam door het vele verkeer en de vele daklozenen leurders.
Op cachegebied is het moeilijk door de hoge gebouwen en daardoor veel caches niet gevonden.
Toch een 30 tal gevonden.

After the pedestrian traffic died down and it got dark, this was an easy find. Thanks for the cache!

Of course, the main goal was Rome ! At the first day we visit the Colosseum, Forum Romanum and a lot of other seights !! After me first visit in 2011, so lot of new caches, unbelievable !! Great !

Not easy with all those people around but we made it.

This weekend it was my birthday and Elo bought me plane tickets to Rome ! So off we went to spend two great days in the Italian capital ! The weather was wonderful not like winter at home !
We had an amazing weekend, we could visit all the main places in the city, Trevi fountain, spanish stairs, the pantheon, Vatican City, Colosseo, Villa Borghese and much more. Of course we could find a lot of caches during that time everywhere in the city. We also had great italian food.
Thanks to all the owners for allowing us to discover this great place and placing the caches.

Lilyflowers and I are visiting Rome for a few days of culture and good food. I also have a long list of caches that I would like to find too !

After spending an amazing morning at the Vatican, we had a leisurely walk towards the city, picking up a few caches on the way. We passed close by this one, so took a short detour to grab it.

The log was duly signed and the cache replaced as found before moving on to our next target. TFTC

I actually did some window shopping while waiting for the right moment. I am happy I did not electrocute myself.

Common log for trip to Rome:
Travel together with three other couples from Norway to visit and enjoy Rome for five days. Brotmo and I found some time in between to do some geocaching, as we always do when we’re out traveling. We have found and logged a lot of different geocaching types. Mystery, traditional, Verigo, earth cache and one event. A big thanks goes to all CO’s for giving us the opportunity to learn about the history and others in Rome. The logbooks were mostly signed with BR (Brotmo + Ronlan).

A 5-day trip in Rome with some good friends. In between all the sightseeing and all the good food, me and Ronlan found space for some geocaching as well. A lot of great places has been visited, and many kilometers are walked this days. I had made a plan for our geocaching for logging as many earthcaches as possible, among virtual caches, wherigo caches and a mystery or two - and even a event.
Unfornately a lot of the traditionale caches in Rome is gone, but we have been able to find some of them as well. TFTC

While my business weeks are taking place in Latina I decided to spend a weekend off in Roma. I've been here in last May for on week but still wnated to some new spots and visit some wellknown places again. This cache was recommend by the cacher I met shortly before. As it was almost on my further way I tried my luck and found the cache very unexpected - well done!

Hemos podido encontrar y firmar una buena cantidad de cachés, sin embargo también hemos sufrido algunos DNF, aunque lo realmente importante ha sido poder visitar los lugares mágicos que hemos conocido, algunos de ellos gracias a los diferentes cachés. Por ello muchas gracias a todos los propietarios y saludos desde España.

First day of stay in Rome and we dedicate to tour part of the city, from the Coliseum and Foros until ending in the afternoon and evening in the vicinity of the Trevi Fountain. It has been an exceptional day of geocaching and discovery of great wonders, which we have enjoyed a lot

We have been able to find and sign a good number of caches, however we have also suffered some DNF, although the really important thing has been to visit the magical places we have known, some of them thanks to the different caches. Je me suis fixé comme objectif de faire 12 nouveaux pays cette année. Après Lisbonne le mois dernier me voici à Rome et au Vatican... 2 pays d'un coup! )
Après une semaine assez dure au boulot me voici en train de prendre un peu l'air dans la capitale italienne.
Comme les statistiques ne sont plus importantes pour moi, je vais en profiter surtout pour flâner un peu et faire juste quelques caches ici et là!
Donc pas de chiffre ce werk end, mais surtout faire honneur aux quelques mystères résolues depuis la France avec parfois l'aide et les encouragements de ma géocopine Anne!
Loin du froid et du gris de la Franche Comté, ça me fait plaisir de redécouvrir cette très jolie ville et de déguster de bons petits plats italiens accompagné d'un superbe brunello di montalcino!

This week me and Debster24 went to Rome. What a great city to discover. We enjoyed our stay near the center of Rome. We even did the bus tour and visited lot's of awesome and historical places.

We found some traditional and solved mysteries. The earthcaches were nice too. Some caches were easy to find.

**Individual log**
Today is our third and last day in Rome. Schedule for today is going downtown to see the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. We also visited the National Monument to Victor Emmanuel II.

After we've seen the Spanish steps we found this cache. A bit tricky but found it on a safe place.

After visit Rome style we chenged our minds.. with nano-standart containers with difficulty D2 in places, where in Czech Republic cant blame for D4,5 - Its really bloody geocaching hell on earth and I cant imagine your traditional cache D5.. Whatever..

Second last day in Rome and now I'm trying to go to places I haven't been to before and to find some caches along the way. Thanks to the owners for showing us interesting places!

As son as I noticed the spot, I thought it would be this one, but decided to look around before making any stupid movement. Nothing showed up, so I came back to the same place and saw that the logbook was exposed. A very clever hide! The comments help a lot!
