Logs
Spotted it uncovered so after a small clamber and a kneel and signing of the log I recovered. The log sheet is full so I signed on the map (see the photo).
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Denomynator.

We didn't manage to find it. Seems it was found the day prior but we looked fairly thoroughly with no luck
Coordinates we're off but with my spidey senses I found it none the less.
after not getting my australian visa and needing to leave the ship and my wife in dunedin, i found my way up to wellington in search of the australian high commission to see if they could assist me as she continued on to hobart, australia and then to alice springs. nope, above their pay grade so what else better to do while waiting to board a flight back home in iowa usa than to grab a few caches. que sera sera.
even experience my first earthquake last night here in wellington

Why do people leave their dog poo bags around. Lucky for me it was in a bag as I was too busy looking at my phone to see what was in front of me.
TFTC a nice easy one for the morning

Quick find on a quiet Sunday pen was on its last legs so will be back later to sign!
A nice quick park and grab while out with for the afternoon. GPS was off slightly for both of us, but we found the cache without too much trouble in what seemed like the obvious place. TFTC. KTG
Staying in Wellington for the weekend. Mrs Rubbishparty thought we were here for Christmas cashing (shopping) and Mr Rubbishparty thought it was Christmas caching. The joys of marriage. In the end we did both. Enjoyed the stroll along the walkway. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley
Today I was due to pick up my son from Wellington Airport as he returns from his OE. But it was a beautiful day, so I was happy to drive out a couple of hours early to do a bit of casual caching whilst I waited for his plane to land.
I was targeting finding puzzle caches that have been on my 'solved' list for a while, but always happy to stop for a Trad or two if I'm passing close by them, as was the case here.
Unlike the cache I had done immediately before this one, there was no-one around GZ so I could look for the cache straight away in the most likely place. An immediate find, so was able to sign the log in situ and replace immediately.
Thanks for setting this one up.

Cache number two for the night.
After abandoning yesterdays plans to try and find the three geocaches down this alleyway due to rain, I decided to come back this evening to have a second crack at them. I started my little walk from the alleyway entrance on Cockburn Street, successfully finding GC6Z8KJ before I got to this one. The coordinates on my GPS device were bouncing around slightly and didn't seem able to give me an accurate position. I did, however, have a very strong feeling that I knew where this cache would likely be hidden. There were, however, a surprisingly large number of muggles using this part of the pathway at this time of night. I didn't have any issues with muggles at the beginning of the alley, so they've all seemingly appeared from thin air. I decided to put a temporary pause on my hunt for this cache and continue walking towards the airport. I returned about 10 minutes later and, with no visible muggles around, quickly dived into the location where I expected the cache to be. I was bang on target. I unearthed the cache from its hiding spot almost immediately and took it to a nearby seat to open and sign the log. After successfully signing the log, I did a quick muggle check and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Log was dry and cache is in good condition.

Despite the nearby workmen watching us, we were able to retrieve this cache, only just in time as a dog walker and a cyclist came by, tftc Denomynator
How did this one take me as long as it did?! Great cache, thank you. Tried writing small as possible but might have taken up last space in the log!
#21224. Parking wasn't great when we passed heading north, but heading south 10 minutes later there was good parking, so we stopped for a quick park and grab. TFTC.
StreetWalkerNZ and I are staying a couple of nights in Brooklyn before we fly back to Christchurch tomorrow, so solved puzzles plus a few ad labs in the area are on the agenda, though the odd trad that we're passing may be targeted as well.
We were driving past and I said I'd only stop if there was a nearby park. There was and after waiting for a dog walking muggle to pass, the cache was a quick find. TFTC.

Checked and confirmed that the cache is in place, with plenty of room for more logs!
Having not found many caches over recent weeks, I decided to head into Wellington after work to see if I could make a couple of quick finds to keep things ticking over. I made my way to this site first and was prepared to wait for an opportunity to look for the cache. However, it was all quiet and I was able to begin my mission immediately. From a distance, I spotted something of interest and headed to it but soon realised it was a false lead. I then thought things were going to be a little more difficult and I would need to survey my surroundings. But, to my surprise, I discovered I was right beside the treasure which was a bit larger than I guessed it would be. It's a popular cache but the logsheet still has plenty of room for more entries.
Nice quick find, although nearly lost the log out of my hand due to crazy wind gust! All good with cache.
Thanks
Thanks
This was our fist one we thought it was going to be on the ground at first but it was in a tree!
This was our first find. Had walked past this cache almost every day on the way to school!!
Nice to have and easy one after a couple hard ones ( the hint gives it away a little )
Was a rough day caching, finding this one made me feel a little better. Thank you.
Nice. It was hard to get to cause there were tons of muggles around. Also yeah tricky to get the logbook out but I used my pen. TFTC
Upon first approach was worried this one could take quite a few minutes, and with my bright red day bag I really needed to get in and out before the next passer by! But opened my eyes a little wider and the cache came to view!
Second time round visiting as 2 year old is more interested now. Great spot and cache has changed since last find TFTC
