Stage 3 of our trip is a few days on the North Island of New Zealand. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. Day 1 Quick find at the Airport when arrived before we headed down to Pirongia to say with friends. Day 2 I spotted a multi in Hamilton which took us on a tour of street art. So we headed into town for a stroll around. After lunch, a walk was in order so we stopped at Lake Ngaroto and walked and geocached around.
My first time visiting Lake Ngaroto...and I will be back; what a lovely walk.Muggles meant I needed to backtrack here, but once they were out of the way, I made a quick find. Thanks iammrwalker#5337
Night walk around the lakeLittle cold and wet but very clear eveningTotal 2 found, 3 attempts on the walkTFTC
We are back in New Zealand to have the holiday we should have had 4 years ago, Covid-19 put an abrupt end to that holiday.Out by myself today for a stroll around Lake Ngoroto. The weather when I set off was very miserable but it all brightened up when I got to the lake. It only started raining again when I was about 500m from the car.Greetings from the UK.Arrived at GZ and started my search and soon had the cache in hand.Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks to iammrwalker for placing.Find 2 of 6Total finds 3709
#14,956. At the conclusion of the nearby Rattll'n around for 20 years event in Te Awamutu, a group of us went rambling around Lake Ngaroto to attempt a number of newly published caches and other ones that had been around for a while. This was one of them. There were quite a few walkers, runners and cyclists on the track, but the GZ was fortunately all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside.Took Mark's FrogLeft nothing, signed log (as Team 20 or T20 as the group name for the new caches, and with individual names for existing caches).*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*#This find is counting towards GC2XBA7 Rambler's Reward Challenge Cache (Dunedin, Otago).

Cool day for a walk. Lots of bird life. Thanks for setting up and maintaining these caches!
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with Fisha1288 Nice hide and deserves a favorite from me. Cheers, Cympull.
another find with flossieteacake. took a while but got there eventually. TFTC
Well the first thing we found was a tomato, but I don't think that is what the CO had in mind when they asked. It took a bit to find this, another where GeohoundandI's sunglasses didn't help. I needed a stick to reach it. Took the TB.
Out doing the Lake Ngaroto Loop on a scorcher day. This cache eluded me for a while, so I was relieved to finally put my hand on the container. All good inside, big enough to leave a trackable, so I did. Tftc!
Its been awhile since I was last out here, and there is a lot more board walk! Working in the area and decided to grab the 2 caches missing from my list. Nice to turn this from blue to yellow. Spot on coordinates made for an easy find. TFTC
Nice to turn this frown upside down. I swear i looked in this spot last time yet everyone else seams to have found it so Im guessing i must have overlooked it somehow. Thanks for the cache.Thankyou for the cache
Our fourth for the day, this one took a little extra hunting around but it turned up right under our noses. TFTC
Didnt find this today but i was in a bit of a rush because it was starting to get dark and i didnt fancy the walk back alone in total darkness. A cache to look forward to another day. This was the view when i got back to the car.
We stayed here overnight in our campervan. So we couldn’t leave this place without finding these ones!
TFTC!

Greetings from BC, Canada.
We are a family of 5 on vacation in New Zealand. Cachers in the family include BeesKnees34, SOB_4M, AlexBN16 and me. We have been enjoying the beautiful landscape and visiting some awesome locations.
Stopping along the way to grab some cool caches. We targeted high favourite, old caches, different cache types and some other caches along our routes.
Thanks to all the cache owners for creating, placing and maintaining these great geocaches!
Quick find for us.

This track is remarkably busy for a Monday morning. I had to be very conscious of muggles coming from both directions.
No problems making the find here.

12.40pm. Had to sit here on the boardwalk until a couple of muggles went passed. Then they stopped to talk for about five minutes. Soon found it when they moved on.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Lots of rain this morning, but when it got a bit lighter we set out to find our first New Zealand caches! Had lots of fun hiking around the lake and seeing new birds, and finding caches of course. Great place to camp and explore, TFTC!
Cutting a lap around the lake and learning about the area’s history.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We are now in the North Island of New Zealand for two weeks seeing family and finding caches.

Tftc gave a quick clean up as had water in. Caching with Louf71.Over from the UK visiting family in Te Kuiti, exploring the north island and caching! So we're taking trips where we stay for a few days/week at a time before moving on to somewhere else or a few places before going back to spend time with family and back out again on another adventure. Having just done a trip to Cambridge and the Bay of Plenty we've gone back to Te Kuiti. Looking like it was going to be a nice day we set the plan to walk the lake with J's mum and sister. (Sorry for the very very late Log, between limited Data, some issues with our travel, some personal issues and a build up meaning the ADHD couldn't cope tackling these but finally getting logged Please forgive)
Bro didn’t even need anything! Just found it! Rocking eazy! Find us down the road bro, reinhold bros!!!!!!!
Stayed the night and took a stroll around the lake and cleaned up a few caches'Cheers
Tftc. One of many today around this track. Very wet and saturated area though. A few caches have succumbed to the weather.
Decided to book the caregiver for Junior cacher.....first time since the Covid-19 lockdown starting August 2021, and headed down here for a cycle and to collect a few caches about......
Continued on around the lake seeing more dead fish baking in the sun making the smell stronger........
Had to travel in this clockwise direction as we were cycling...as per the sign at the start....
