Cache is gone, and GZ is looking less inviting for a cache placement here than it used to be.

07-Oct-21
After some info from a previous finder and matching some images with ground zero, I’m fairly confident that the cache has been muggled unfortunately.

06-Oct-21
Searched everywhere but was unable to come up with the goods today. I checked everywhere in all sorts of places. I did find something that may have been part of a hide, but couldn’t be sure. After talking with a previous finder and reviewing the logs/images, it became clear the cache has unfortunately gone again.

Found what seems to be the remains of the cache, but not completely sure!

Location was way off but TFTC (photo is a spoiler because I wish I had one since there's no hint)

What an awesome hiding place dude! Excellent hide

01-Jan-20
Loved this one, we walked past this hidey spot 10 times, stood at it pondering where we weren’t looking, walked up and down some more then finally the light bulb lit up!! Very good. TFTC
A favourite for us.

28-Dec-19
On a mission on a hot day but I’ve come all this way to complete a WHERIGO so seeing a close trio became a must. Quickly spotted. Certainly a dry cache today. TFTC

On my way home from work and looking for a quick cache, they're becoming rarer with this streak of mine.
Could almost say the cache was water logged but it is protected by it's container Wink
**Thanks for placing this cache chof_hoe**

Really a micro all the way out here. I reckon you could successfully hide a 44 gallon drum out here. To be fair though this is a clever hide especially seeing as my GPS was all over the place due (I think) to all of the crushed rock . TFTC.

11-Oct-19
Out early this morning with Bunadoorian enjoying listening to the frogs on the walk from the parking area to GZ. A freight train and a passenger train both went past while in the area. Looking around where our phone's GPS had GZ and nothing so started expanding the search area and then something caught Bunadoorians eye. Great cache. TFTC chof_hoe. Now off to check out Thatsalotta Donuts which is open 24hours !!

Confirmed gone this morning - will look to replace shortly.

11-Mar-19
We did notice this one hadn’t been found for a few months, but the recent DNF’s didn’t show up on our PQ! We looked for some time before checking our phone. Ah, so that explains our difficulty!! Well we won’t waste any more time here and hope it is back in place on our next visit. We did enjoy trainspotting here though.

10-Mar-19
Visited with Smrff78 and searched for ages only to find out that the cache container was no longer there. Hoping it will be replaced so the cache can be completed.

This cache has been muggled.

6 Smile cache finds on a day where I had to be in the South Melbourne office for Induction into my new job role Cool So a quick drive down and back in the same day with a few safety stops along the way home [^]Razz

Rex scared the hell out of me Twisted as I came out of induction and saw a dog on the footpath, on the grass, and then realised it was my dog SurprisedSurprised He'd jumped out of the partially open window as he was experiencing diarrhea and hadn't wanted to do it in Harry! I'm just glad he didn't get hurt with that drop down! So we headed to the beach for some water play Cool [^] and sand therapy RazzWink before we headed home again.

As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up. Sad
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! Cool[^]CoolSmile
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby SmileBig GrinCool

Playing hockey tonight at Craigieburn Hockey Club, I took the opportunity to come down a little early and check out some of the newer caches around the area. Ahhh a nice one whilst the trains bustled past - favourite point added. Thanks for the cache chof_hoe.

Nice found

01-Jan-18
My friends told me to take my muggle friend to this one as the camo was very clever, so after a failed attempt at the last one together, we tried this one. I went for all the normal spots, but my friend just stood where the GPS was showing the lowest number. Little did he know he was standing right next to it!! Wow, what a cool way to hide a Cache!! I've never seen anything like this before. Well thought out chof_hoe. TFTC.

Noticed an invite on fb so decided to venture to the other side of nowhere and grab some smileys. Mostly successful and able to grab a few not in this series also. Love caches that are hidden in plaid sight. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

Having picked up smileys on both Christmas Day and Boxing Day, I figured I'd keep the run alive, so starting looking at how many hides there are within reasonable striking distance...

Hmmm... with quite a few of the cachers here in the northern suburbs being very active of late, it might be time for a streak attempt. Meanwhile, the better half let me use her car to drive as far along Patullo's Lane as possible, and I walked the rest of the way through the clinkers to the coordinates, to spot something out of place.

I've ridden the bike on both parts of the lane, manhandling it across the tracks. Tonight was a lot easier... Especially with the fine view of a suburban train and freight hauled in both directions while I was signing.

Nice, chof_hoe... Looks like you'll see more of my logs in the next month or three. One day at a time...

Had a few strange looks from the workers nearby as I went wandering down the closed road but once at GZ I spotted the clever hide. The first of this type of container I've seen, very ingenious. A favourite for me, thanks for the cache Chof Hoe.

Suscoe decided to have a day trip to this area to check out the caches to the north of Melbourne.
We got away early and had an enjoyable wander in an area we haven't been to before.
What a mixture of building types and ages.
Thanks to chof_hoe for this hide.
We worked out which way to get in quite well.

The originality of the cache had us stumped for a few minutes, great fun though! TFTC

Parked nearby and wandered in to the area.
Spotted something "out of place" and was soon signing the log. Smile
All in good order here. [^]
Visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache chof_hoe.

Nice walk for the geodog on an old road that has been in the area since I can remember. At the GZ the geodog looked sad as there wasn't anything to drink. Nice work on the container. Thanks.

Hard way to get to the cache is attached. Advise not to go that way!

Wonderful winter's day to spent looking for caches in the suburb.
Glad to be back in geocaching mode, after being off my feet for almost 3 months after a bicycle accident.
Great cache, easy to find, as I spotted the hide as I was approaching gz.

Hmmmm, curious. I wandered down here after doing a training course nearby. I stood, turned in a circle and saw something that didn't make sense. Yep, on the money today. TFTC

Parked at closest point from Sydney Road, and walked up the track, till I spied something very unusual for the area, quickly signed log and replaced cache as found, Thanks for the hide, chof-hoe, another favourite for this quirky hide

It had been way to long between caches so we decided to head out today and risk our lives in Crazyburn. After the short walk from the suggested parking spot my eyes fixed to something, but just in case I was right I let the kids have a bit of a hunt. Darcy found this in no time, well at least knew where it was, and I done the rest. TFTC

TFTC. What a great cache, you have earned a favourite from me.
Quite a easy find. Signed and returned.

**Find #891**

I was on my way to the nearby 'Dönerstag Im Norden' event and I had time to do this one cache. When I arrived at the parking spot Another vehilce had arrived just before me. Another cacher I reckon. I caught up to her and after introductions, together we quickly located the cache. Retrieving the log was not an easy exercise but Cathlud had the engineering skills to supply the needed extraction tool that enabled us to get the prize and signed the log. Great camo for the cache container.
Thank you **chof hoe** for this cache. I will return another day to do more of this series.

I was on my way to the nearby 'Dönerstag Im Norden' event and I had time to do this one cache. After parking at the suggested spot I walked along the path and noticed a man walking behind me. Luckily I saw him looking at his phone so I was sure that he there for the same reason as I was. It was UltimateGeoCacheTeam and together we quickly located the cache. Retrieving the log was not an easy exercise but with persistence (and a little bit of luck) we were sucessful and signed the log.
Thank you chof hoe for this cache. I will return another day to do more of this series.

I came across this new series that has popped up around Craigieburn after being told about it by the CO
There was plans for a station here in the early days of the electrification of the line but funds were not found
Parked at the coords and a quick walk up to GZ I spotted the clever cache signed the log and now for the rest of the series
Thanks chof-hoe TFTC

This is the cache I skipped over last night on my FTF hunt, so it fitted in well to find it tonight and keep my daily streak alive. It was a nice quiet walk to GZ and I spotted the cache soon after arrival. Once signed and replaced it was then a trip further on to examine the four foot and the six foot, oh yeah I know my train tracks, I've had a crash course in it recently and it's going to be my cover story for all future caches that are near train tracks. Signals, gauges, base plates, Black 5, Ferret and Dartboard are all words in my train repertoire Wink. I found that some muggles aren't that interested in caching but Trains : everyone loves.. don't they ?
Thanks for the cache, it will improve with age that's for sure.
