Went looking for this one but the bulldozer got there first. Tree has gone, as has most everyone else in the area. Have sent photos to CO. Will wait for relocation.
Out riding with hubby from Kipparing to Petrie. Made it all the way with 22 finds, a handful of dnfs and one rather spectacular fall from my bike.
I nearly decided to leave this one when I saw the lantana, but hubby had long pants so he went straight through and retrieved the cache, while the mossie spraying helicopter did laps across the other side of the rail tracks.

Cache still accessible. Base of large tree closest to the blue construction fence.
All good here.
All good here.
Now here’s a problem. There is a fenced off construction site near GZ. I couldn’t establish whether GZ was inside or outside of the fence but if its inside the cache is now gone along with the trees. Lots of construction muggles around taking way too much notice of what I was doing so I couldn’t search very well. Might be a while before they are finished.
Thanks anyway Djmccullagh.
Thanks anyway Djmccullagh.
Continuing along the cycle trail with Roger of rbutto and cache was soon in hand. TFTC Djmccullagh
Find #2063 at 18:51 while killing time in the area between a visit to the Big Green Shed and a weekly meeting at the Small White Shack.
Another easy find in the second spot I looked, after first having to outwait a passing walking muggle.
I then spent 5 minutes removing those awful sticky seeds from my jeans. [B)]
Thanks for the cache, Djmccullagh.

Last day on the Peninsula today, but before we could leave, had a bit of work to be done on the caravan annex at Clontarf, so while we waited, we went for a walk beside the railway line. From Kippa-Ring to Rothwell, we cached all the way, collecting six more smilies for our collection, and filled another day on our grid.
Found this cache nice and safe in the shade. Signed and returned, and took the Geobreo's TB Racer #2 and help it get back to Minnesota
Thanks Djmccullag

I thought I had found all of the Stargate series caches and then spotted this lone last one. I headed here today to create another smiley and finally finish the series.
Thanks for the cache Djmccullagh

Nice patjways and gardens and trees set out nice! Got signed and returned same place TFTC
Finally out for some caching fun with barbb - it's been two weeks since we've managed to escape, LOL!
I was definitely having one of those caching days when I should have stayed at home. Don't get me wrong, barbb and I were having a lovely chat but I was not kicking goals with respect to finding caches . At this stage my phone had gone flat, lucky barbb's battery lasts twice as long as mine and there was a barking dog next to GZ. We hid behind the fence waiting until the dog and its owner moved on and thankfully it was a nice quick find. Kind of lucky really because we made it back to the train station for a lift back to the car, just as the train was pulling in. TFTC Djmccullagh, I'm really enjoying the series

a short day today as grandcats need me this afternoon ... rio suggested staying close to home and finishing off some more of the train trail
i love the asgard
had to outwait a dog on the otherside
oh dear ... that cost us some precious moments
just made the train back
took green worm
left green ribbon

Out with the geoteen today, escaped the madness at home to make a visit to a nearby hardware establishment, and "forgot" to tell my muggle partner that there may be a sidetrip. Quick find, mozzie dance and log sign here. Tftc!
TFTC... 17/7/17. Tough Mothers were suffering the mozzies that found us as we signed off.
Found with lisylou, bennyboppers, REMSJW and mnance101 (aka the tough mothers).
Out caching with Tough Mothers (Remsjw, Bennyboppers, Lisylou, and Misssusan79). TFTC!
Out for the afternoon with Aussiemates for a lovely winter day walk to collect a few caches. Quick find. Hoping the surrounding foliage wasn't stinging nettles! Phew. Took the TB. TFTC
This morning we headed to Ikea for breakfast. Following this we found a few caches in the area.
This took us to various locations & a good selection of caches found.
It was a great day for a bike ride, what a great bath to ride along.
Thanks for placing this cache Djmccullagh

Took a bike ride from Kippa Ring to Petrie, grabbing caches as I went. There were a few DNFs and a few I decided to leave to another time as they were not immediately obvious and the weather looked like it could turn bad. Got on the train in Petrie just as some decent rain hit! TFTCs Djmccullagh. I'll be back to grab the rest.
We started this series last week so returned today to hopefully finish it off. We were glad to find this one quickly as the mozzies were pretty bad. We took the Signal Fire TB and dropped off the Australia TB. TFTC.
Visiting geo-son and decided that this new rail line needed our biking attention.
Despite the mosses moving along well.

On my lunch break I decided to jump on the wooshy pushy and go for a ride. I whacked on the headphones and headed off just as the clouds were coming in. There are just those days when you seem to be riding into the wind no matter which way you are pedaling. The wind was out to get me.
Early in the afternoon I didn't see another soul using the path. I just dumped the pushy on the side of the track and walked into the bushy area to find the cache.
This was my first time traveling between Rothwell and Kippa-Ring stations. I've caught the train a couple of times but Rothwell is where I jump off. Some great artwork on the noise barriers here. tftc

Not too much difficulty finding this one. Just remember to take the environmentally friendly route to GZ. TFTC
Nalezeno při dnešním bikegeovýletu. Díky za kešku, pozdrav z České republiky.
Found in today's bikegeotrip. Thanks for the cache, greetings from the Czech Republic.

Today was the day I decided to apply some physical exercise to. A 60km bike ride covering about 6 and a half hours and 36 smileys (of potentially 38) sounds like just the ticket to me.
A good day in the saddle.
Another mozzie haven ... they love me today - and of course I forgot the repellant today [:o)] (idiot human[B)]). A quick find but I had to take a short walk off to the side and back waiting for a muggle to WALK past and get out of sight again. Making the mozzies (some of them) very happy. Some got headaches though
Thanks for placing this cache, Djmccullagh. Found in good condition.

T-Tech and I took a ride today to gather this series of caches. We parked at Petrie station at 1pm, then set off eastwards, picking off all the caches from Osiris to Aliens, then did a long pedal to Kippa-Ring station. On the westward run we picked off all the caches from Apophis back to Vala Mal Doran, then had a glorious non-stop long ride all the way back to the car, arriving just after 6pm. About 26kms in 5 hours of easy riding, with 25 smileys, 1 PAF, and 2 we 'did not attempt' [^]
The mozzies were not quite the same degree of awful as the last stop so I made a quick dash in and grab. Very glad the co-ords were spot on. I noted the TB. TFTC, Djmccullagh.

Check the wrong tree for a while and was pleased when I found it under the tree without being too much foliage.. Some beautiful wild flowers in here made for some pretty photos.. TFTC
In Australia for a couple of days for my Fathers funeral , to take my mind off it for a while I headed out on a couple of caches, mozzies were out in force so quick find and sign , TFTC
Some finds were easy today. Some were not. A few remained elusive. This was a nice quick one so I could get away form the mozzies.
Petrie to Kippa-Ring shared path opened around the same time as the Redcliffe Railway. I have previously completed a circuit of the bikeway just after it opened, there were no specific caches along the path at that time. Once I noticed this series was in place it was clearly placed with some priority on the to do list.
This is a great bikeway and the path is around 2m wide most of the way. Today I rode it on my Scott Hardtail 29 er which is set up for path/ road riding. It's a lovely ride from both directions signage along is fairly good so you don't get lost when having to cross several roads through the Kallangur/Murrumba Downs area. However, there a few places where a couple extra road marking would help.
The designers has gone to a lot of effort and expense in making it a visually attractive ride. There's lots of native shrubs planted along the path and water ways which were once swamps have been made into rather nice looking ponds. There are many entry and exit points along the way, and each train station has a sign giving you the distances to every other station on the line.
There are some parts of the ride where you clash with traffic along the way (take care if riding with small children). I assume on a weekday one has to deal with people around the train stations at busy times, but otherwise this path lets you ride a good distance. It is a shame that there is not a clearly dedicated cycleway from the Kippa_Ring out to the Coast.
Thanks for the cache, but not the mozzies encountered at each stop.

Found at 0846. More mozzies but an easy find again. Took an easy way out to the road by following the black fence. TFTC.
Heather321 asked for company on the bike to get some caches of this series. So we took the train to Kippa-Ring and started. Were chatting a lot and stopping at GZs. Not too long, and we found this one - after we skipped some. Tftc
Moving the car again, parked at the next railway station heading west. A short stroll down the bike path, and over the drainage ditch, walked straight to a tree to find a good size container. Thanks for the cache Djmccullagh.
I decided it was a good day to tackle some more Stargate SG1 caches along the bikeway/walkway. Today I caught the train out to the Kippa-ring end and walked along from there.Another quick find, cache in perfect condition, as they all are. TFTC
Too many council workers on my way out this morning but they had moved on when I returned to get my car and that pie. Easy find once the coast was clear. TFTC Djmccullagh
Out with Geopartner on his flexiday.
After lunch nearby it was back to pounding the pavement and it was hot.
Arriving at GZ, and a slight detour off the bike trail to find this cache.
We had to be super stealth mode as there were muggles just behind the fence even though they were elderly they were still muggles.
When they strolled away, I found the cache and signed the log.
Returned to where I found it and then headed off on the trail again.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Djmccullagh All good with this cache

We tried to entice the kids to come out for a ride at crackers this morning, but as they are in high school they said "what, no way"and we thought what conscientious kids they are, obviously they want to stay home and crack on with their assessments...but no that was not on their radar either, they were just going back to sleep! Best we don't enlighten them that if these caches had come out the night before we would of bailed on the info nights at school!
Trains are operating today, nice that we can see them in action, we missed out last week due to maintenance.
Arrived at gz and thought man, this cache owner seems to think of everything, nicely lined up with our very own parking bay;)

Out with Nurseyjulie, finding a few caches in the area. We wandered along the bike path from the previous cache to this one. Whose idea was this in the heat??? At GZ, I spotted the cache while Nurseyjulie was searching elsewhere. Log signed, TB dropped, Cache returned to its hiding spot and we were on our way again. We decided it was much too hot today to continue the trail, so we will be back again another day. TFTC
A short walk from the previous cache along the bikeway. We noted all the graffiti along the wall already too! Found a concrete crossing the creek and up to the GZ. The final find for the day for us. TFTC Djmccullagh
This was the last we decided to go for tonight as it was starting to get later in the evening and what a walk we had, lucky there was a nice breeze about. Not long before we were near gz and the last 15m or so we tiptoed in and made the last *ftf* replaced and we were now satisfied with our achievements so we headed home TFTC
After spending yesterday morning on the Petrie to Kippa Ring bike path chasing Stargates, of course Murphys Law dictates that tonight a whole new batch were released.
There was just enough time for RhoBoCacher and I to grab one more. We could see lights nearby so we crept quietly and kept torchlight to a minimum in case they were houses. It didn't take long to locate the container, the coords tonight have been consistently impressive. Adding an FP as thanks for the fun. Time to head home, leaving the rest for others to enjoy.
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #3217. Thanks **Djmccullagh** for bringing us here. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .
