Out in the PeuGEOt on my own today as both Mrs Cogs and little littlecogs are both crook. Want to have 500 chalked up before my knee replacement next month. TFTC
I was up this way chasing windmills but in the end it was becoming very unsuccessful due to a few changes at a couple of the waypoints.Im on my way home now and Im stopping at a few of the caches that were skipped on my last trip up this way with my caching Buddy.I came in from the back as I took a track from in from One Tree Hill was in this area recently but only found a couple as my navigator had already done these.As I was approaching the area of GZ I heard a rustling sound which made me a bit weary but I soon noticed a nearby cache guardian which was a bit of a relief.Thanks jitsv318 TFTC.
Next stop along the road and this was spotted after a short search. Log signed and off to the next one.

Made a slight detour to grab a few along this track while out on a Grampians road trip with naughtybunny. A nice bit of bushland and it was a good short walk to the cache. Found after a little searching. TNLN. Cheers.
Another easy find on a slight diversion on our trip back to Fyans Creek from Ararat.

Found this one half open and out in the open, so after signing the log, we put it at the base of the tree it was near. TFTC.
Melbourne to Adelaide Road Trip
Day One: Melbourne to Horsham
Weather: perfect, surprisingly cool.
One of four caches found along the Great Dividing Road/Track. I’d previously found the one closest to the highway, but I’m traveling solo and have more time today

Stopped to get a cache or five in a new LGA. quick find.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event.Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

Out on a Christmas break with sir_spectre, exploring southern Victoria grabbing lots of smilies, finding caches in LGA's and of course signing a few more challenges.

I was needing a few finds in the Ararat LGA and while on my way home from Little Dessert, I was passing by this little series which I decided to stop on have a look at, all caches were found without a problem as most you can see from a distance.

Found last Saturday with Wespro. Topped up trades for you then I just had to get the camera out. So many wildflowers and orchids.

Day 3 of our long weekend is in Ararat and surrounds.
One of the wheels on the mad caching pair's cache-finding trolley came off about here. The sun broke out, there were a vast array of wildflowers in bloom, and our CPM (caches per minute) rate plummeted. Many photos were taken, however.

On a beautiful morning thought we would grab a couple of caches the wild flowers are blooming it’s a good day to cache thanks for placing this cache
Today we had a leisurely start in Beaufort getting ready for our trip back to SA. The Junior colts were well into their game before we left the lake side caravan park.
Off to Waterloo for a few caches and AL. Then off to do the musical wherigos which we had so much fun solving last night whilst drinking a lot of wine and singing along to Jimmy Barnes.
Quick lunch at the footy oval before heading onwards to Taylor’s Lake for our last night camping, the serenity here is lovely.
Plenty of caches found during today what a bonus and still no rain to spoil our trio how lucky are we?
Thanks to all the CO for the great hides and the Victorian cachers foe looking after the hides my SA counterparts could taje a leaf out of their book.

Out geocaching in the Ararat area for a second and quickly found this cache along with some others ialone the same road, TFTC

Wasn't in the spot I was expecting it to be as I approached GZ and found in a slightly more open position with no camo. All was good with the cache though, another good find and hidden a bit more securely where found.

Finally catching up on some logs, we had a lovely day out exploring the area and enjoying a picnic as we added some smiles too, Thanks for bringing us through this lovely area, TFTC and all the fun
A nice relaxed caching outing to finish off our school holidays. We (Neisha07, Boo09 & I) met up with GemmaSistema, AdamSistema & LukeSistema to form Team Clarmensma and headed to the Ararat bush. TFTC
School holidays so Team Clarmensma (GemmaSistema, becca85, AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 and boo09) teamed up for a fun filled caching day around Ararat. These bush ones were all nice and easy. Amazing bush through here. Thanks for the cache.
