I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi emjay2245
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Couldnt find this one searched high and low but as past commenters have said the area is in really bad shape, unfortunatley we had no bags to pick up the masses of rubbish either
We think it has gone as the remaining nylon is still there. I'd say this is the rugby clubs outdoor urinal...
Was going to have a look at this but didn't as someone got caught short here. Not a nice sight
Sunday morning and not a soul in sight so was able to find and log the cache easily. The container is more like a micro size rather than regular though. Tftc
Half way through our trip to NZ from the UK and half way between Ohakune and Wellington, we decided to stop here for some lunch.

On the way to Kapiti Island for the weekend and today’s another dot day. Disappointed I couldn’t Fizz it up in Foxton, so came to this one. Almost ready to give it up, I turned around and there it was. Hmm, sizings have changed since I got a Regular size cache published Yesterday! TFTC
Played a couple of games of rugby here way back in 1965 or was that 1966. I must have been a lot younger then. From memory they were pre season games and my club was athletic from Wellington. No action on the field today but cache all good. Tftcsl
I was looking for a larger cache container as per the description so initially I came up empty handed. Another search revealed the cache. TFTC
We stopped for a coffee and this was close. Found a log sheet in a micro under the tree. Not really a regular or a T1, so not sure if we found the right cache. Thanks emjay2245.
Rugby never far away here!
We think we found the cache, signed a log.
Thanks emjay2245

TFTC........Heading into Wellinton today and caching along the way. Stopped in to see the wind mill. Visiting from Sask. Canada
Homeward bound after a very successful Mega weekend.
Left Wellington and focused on caches that we had passed on Friday with a slight detour first to collect 1 old cache that we thought would be great to collect.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements and to the organisers for the Mega weekend.
Looking at our finds we still have several more trips needed. SLTFTC

WENZ Mega Weekend is over... Today signals the long trek northward and home. We agreed upon stopping for a limited number of caches. But we all know what that means... With Gap (of Fap and Gap), and NZFlossy...
Monday: A junior match was about to kick off, and there were a lot of potential muggles at the venue. We were able to sneak in and out, partly because no one was interested in our antics. TFTC.

Attending the mega with TeamBOP. Great time to catch up with other cachers and visit Wellington lLots of fun and laughs while finding lots of great caches Thanks to all the COs for providing all the caches and the work that goes into them. Sorry for the generic logs will try to add to them once back home Thanks
On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for.
The rain must have shrunk this cache. It only required my fingers to tackle it. We saw the nearby windmill and wandered over to have a look. I'm caching my way to Wellington with thegreatauk from the far north. This is day 5 of our trip. Thanks for the cache
Ran along the appraoching path as my passengers sampled the town facilities and soon spotted the cache just hanging around. I had noted the wet log notes so added a RITR log-strip to keep this one going. T F T C emjay2245
Day 7 of 7 and time to head back down the line for a trip back to the Mainland via an early afternoon ferry. I allowed us some extra stopping off (sushi, caching and a little shopping) time on the way back and that enabled a barely affecting 8 ccahes for the day and a few more smiles on my map, and face. Grabbed 6 in and around Foxton, and two more at the ends of the Otaki River walkways. All good finds and all replaced as found. Once I got back to Marlborough it was a return to my self-inflicted slim pickings.
Until the MEGA . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Thanks to all the CO s for their hides.
I have had some holiday leave booked for a while now and we are heading North on the ferry, along with the Cache-Qai, and off to Rangitikei to visit our daughter, her partner and our son. First time this many members of the family have been together for a few years so should be good. The plan was half day in work followed by heading off after lunch, then arriving early evening in W(h)anganui to catch up with kids. We're on the North island for a week so there will sure to be some cache found whilst in the area. My Marlborough and Tasman finds have been inching slowly but surely towards my Manawatu/Rangitikei finds but this trip will be sure to redress that balance again for a few more years I'm sure.

A fairly quick find with hannahhnz and hollyhnz, although the cache we found was micro, not the regular cache described. TFTC
Greetings from Tauranga. Great spot for a quick visit in passing through. Cache is all good. TFTC
Only took a wee while for me to spot it. Its definitely not a Regular though, more of an oversized micro. TFTC
#598. Took a bit of fossicking around in the dark, but finally laid my eyes on the cache. Wet log taken back to our Motel to dry out, and returned the next morning. Tftc emjay2245.
Good find. Cache needs tending to, as inside was wet. Not the most pleasant location but still a fun find.
Easy find, obvious where it’s hidden. Cache itself was not as described though, it’s a small pill bottle. Need maintenance though as inside was a little wet
Our first cache of the day, and a very straight forward find once we were on the right side of the building, although we were looking for something a lot larger.
Thankfully there were no muggles around to trouble us.
Thanks for setting this up emjay2245

Real foul area. Didn't want to stick around too long and didn't see anything obvious.
Straight forward find here. Bit of a grotty spot as it seems to have been used as a toilet. TFTC
Came up to Foxton with Yeetrees for the event and the night cache. While up here I decided to retrieve a number of caches that were outstanding for me. A quiick find. TFTC

I am glad that this cache has now been found by other cachers and so i thought i had better complete my log on it too. Although it is still in a none too wonderful place (rubbish wise) it is at least fairly safe and should last a little better than the previous one.
Found quickly with the help of TwigNZ. Not what I would call a medium cache but nonetheless a great cache. TFTC
I'm not usually a big fan of tree-based caches, but this one was fine. Well camouflaged, and in good condition. TFTC
Look up it is now a bison as bigger container found a distance away and log book on ground at GZ? Old log book now inside new container with another small note book, Cache owner has been notified.
#3492 6 of 15 today.
Day 4 in NZ and I'm leaving Wellington heading for Whanganui, a 2.5 hr trip that I managed to make take about 6. Sadly I took lunch with me, so I can't blame it on an extended lunch break. The weather today was pretty ordinary. Grey with showers increasing the further up the road I drove. I stopped in various towns when the weather permitted and grabbed as many caches as I could. It's still raining here, but the forecast is good for the next few days.
This cache is in a sad state. Needs replacing and possibly relocating,

Found cache container in the open no log inside lid was open. Returned to base of tree. Needs maintenance
Needs to be moved as when we found it it was on the footpath and in clear view. Obviously this one is too easy to find. Very wet inside as well
Thank you for the good size of the cache, however it is looking very neglected and needs maintenance. We were sorry that on this occasion we didn't have anything to put in the cache. It needs a new log, and has nothing in it apart from a nut and a bolt. Thank you anyway, If I'm up this way again I will try to put some items in here. Thanks!
Cache needs maintenance, there isn't a proper log in it, and there was nothing else in the cache apart from a nut and a bolt.
Cache # 3,845 - did with Violet Butterfly and Astro Hunter on our way up to Taranaki. Just like the previous finders, we found the container open and on the ground, and the only related item nearby was the logsheet recently put in. Tipped out the water, signed the sheet, put it in and then put the container back in the tree. Doubt it will last, however, as the area looks like it has become party central, with a lot of empty beer bottles and other paraphernalia lying around. Strongly suggest CO check this out and consider placing the fixed container in a new location. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Found today with Astro Hunter and The Wandering Dragons. Disappointed in the state of the container. Thanks for a smiley anyway, and glad to get it before this cache disappears, which appears likely.

Easy find but it was all over the place. I gathered it all up and put it back into the container. No log sheet or book so used a bit of paper. All is dry. Owner should check it over pls. TFTC
Sadly, my experience was similar to that of Push'n East. I found the container and lid on the group with the logbook not far away. I put things back together and tried to guess where the cache belonged.
Decided to head down to foxton to collect some of these relatively new caches. The weather was just cloudy when I left home however on arrival in Foxton it had deteriorated to drizzle which put a damper on things.
Last cache for the day. Caching in drizzle isn't very pleasant. Pulled up her and at the gz could see a number of cache related items lying out in the open, log book pages, swag type items so thought oh no, this cache has gone. Went around the other side of the bush and found the container lying out in the open so retrieved it, returned the swag items and placed a new log sheet inside. Placed back in a likely hiding spot. Out and about doing a bit of caching in Foxton with team geocacher Mr. T. A lovely sunny day after several days of continuous downpour and flooding. We were glad to see the sun. This was a quick find and what a log of swag! Added a couple of things. Took the TB. Tftc.
Thanks for a nice size cache here emjay !!
Quick find while passing thru, and not a soul in sight
TN Left a TB that I'd had for too long. Safe travels!

Out with CNAH caching whilst hubby went blokarting at Sanson. We went right round the block twice before we found our way in. This was crazy. However, once parked we had the likely spot sussed and there it was. Nicle clean and dry container and we signed the log and re-hid quickly. Off home after this one. A great day. TFTC
Not hard to find, only how to get to area a puzzle. Up and down reading street signs but we got there. Spent hours there in wrong street entrance years ago, waiting for friends to go to an Easter fair in that place. Brain strain, time to go home!!!
I was in the area doing maintenance on some of my caches. I carried on to Foxton & Foxton Beach to find some caches. Thanks emjay2245 for the cache.
Another nice find on the way past.
Enjoying the drive around, heading slowly towards home today.

TFTC. An epic caching day in the company of GSEL - 50+ caches each (this was no 46 for me), Event, CITO,and finally collecting a kitten in Otaki! A quick find after a much needed stop for petrol. cache in excellent condition.
#3503. Infoferret offered me a ride up to Levin today to attend the two events being held there. Both of us are working on the DGSC challenge and are doing the bulk find elective. So we decided to make the most of the late summer day and attempt to pick up 50+ additional caches each for the challenge. The problem was that after comparing maps, it seemed that a lot of caches I had done were needed by IF and vice versa. So meant we would probably need to visit at least 70 caches today as well as picking up a kitten to take back to Wellington at 8pm. Time to start heading back to Otaki. After filling up the car with cheap petrol in Foxton (yes the fuel light has been on for a while!) we stopped and made a quick find here. Nicely hidden. Signed the log and left the cache where found. Thanks for hiding it here. Cache 47 of 50.
Yes I got another one of your new caches today, there were no muggles around not even a bird. So it was a good day to have a good look around. GPS took me straight to the area. I iliminated one spot pretty quickly then it was to GZ, the cache was all good here signed the log and this time I remembered a pen. placed the cache container exactly where I found it. thank you for another good placement. Now its off to palmy back to work on this amazingly hot day. Hopefully over the weekend I might get time to get some more of your caches as we are going to Levin again for the geocaching events. TFTC
Called here on a day's caching in the Manawatu area in fine warm weather. Spotted the cache within a few seconds once I got in the right place. Signed log, TFTC!
Second go and I can't belive I missed this the first time well done thanks for another excuse to get out and about
An afternoon visit here.A very quick find and a good cache.A large container is very good to find! Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC!
Taking the opportunity to escape some of Wellington's drizzle for a finer day up country with a caching trip around the Levin, Shannon and Foxton areas with Yeetrees and Gonefishing. Penultimate cache for the day and the 43rd found today.
Thank you for the geocache.
