One of my favourite things about geocaching is discovering new walkways and parks! I had no idea these were here! Tftc
Of course I went the wrong way (not listening to LittleTan) and got stuck in bushes etc. Really interesting cache though.
What a lovely wee spot.
I would've loved to play there as a kid! Potential huts for miles!!!

I found this cache a few days ago when I came for a walk in the hills but unfortunately didn't have a pen on me. So back again today (in the car this time) to write on the logsheet. tftc
Lovely secluded playground-finally a break in the weather for school holiday outings! Whoops….didn’t bring pen to sign. TFTC
Quick easy find in the obvious spot on my way past to a meeting which was timed to align with my lunch hour so I could grab some nearby caches. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing and maintaining a cache.
Our third DNF on a terrible caching day in Christchurch. We found lots of old iron, but none of it yielded a cache for us.
I was in need of 6 caches today to raise my total caches found on the 20th December up to 26 and thus into a deeper shade of green on GC's Statistics page calendar. A look at a map of unfound caches revealed that a caching raid between St Martins and the base of the Cashmere Hills showed that the mission shoul;d be easily fulfilled. But that is not what happened!
After finding the cache at THe Meadow I walked up the hill to this GZ. What great views from this slightly out of the way reserve. No problems with ticking off Cache find #2 of the 6 needed. As I stepped away from GZ a widow-maker branch speared down from above into the ground missing my unprotected head by about 1m. Phew, that was close! Thanks for the cache BP.

Ouch took a tumble on the way into the reserve.... Never thought geocaching would be an extreme sport!!! Think only my pride is bruised so all good.
Trees interfered with GPS a bit so decided to use GC senses and voila there it was.

Took us around in circles briefly but decided to use our geo-sense and refereed to the cache name, after which it was a, quick find. Many thanks for the cache in an area we didn't even know about. Little hidden gem.
Unfortunately we didn't find it today. It got dark and started to rain, so we left after wandering around in the bushes for a while. GPS was a bit inaccurate, but maybe we'll find it another day.
This cache took a few minutes to find as there are many possible hide locations. Eventually spotted the cache. Thanks for the cache

Babysitting nearby and saw this cache was close. Wondered how long this would last, until the next clean up. TFTC
Thanks busy paws.
Another quick find on the way down the hill.
Someone has found room to put a trackable in here, so I took that.
No issues, it’s all good.
Second day in Christchurch on an extended holiday. Caught up with both sisters and my niece in the morning, including some retail therapy, but with everyone else working I get a few hours to trundle around Christchurch in a random manner picking up caches.
Thanks to all the COs.

Quick find where all good at GZ. Thanks for another smilie. Seems the first in 2019
As I arrived near gz there was a man wandering through the reserve... Very slowly. I took a seat and waited him out and then soon had the cache in hand, Tftc!
It was a hot day today. Unlike the last time I looked for this geocache. I searched the same spot but this time I found it.
Sadly there is no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. I plan on going to the OzGeomuster in July. To find out more visit this site: https://www.ozgeomuster.com.au
If you can't make Aussie. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland. I will keep you posted in my logs.

For dinner in the area and we needed a cache for today - the perfect combination. Great views from here and a quick find - so a good end to October. TFTC
I really liked this one!
Pursuing this cache based on a map without altitude indications *accidentally* sent us up a hill we did not expect (all right, we realised what was going on halfway up an "endless stairway", but by then were determined to reach the end). We found this cache in its little out-of-the-way place and, very conveniently, it led us right to another stairway we could use to descend the hill again.

We bussed to Beckenham and started our afternoon caching leisurely ambling along the Heathcote to end with a stiff climb up Huntsbury Hill before taking the steep walking path down to the bus home.
So we puffed our way up here... Well worth the climb. Thanks for bringing us to this unknown reserve. The hopping kangaroo trackable we found here will go North with us in a while. A favourite. TFTC

I'm sure I found another cache around here ten years ago. Oh well, time to find another one. A quick wander around and a glimpse of something that matched the title - success! Cheers
Out with purdiepurdie for CC&C; eventually turned into lunch, laughter - and I can't remember the 3rd "L"....
PP had been here before; actually not a part of town I know at all - I think I've really only been up these streets before to look for caches!.
It was a quick find today. Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, busy paws.

TFTC. With KSI back in town it was time for a little CCC, coffee cache and chat, (KSI has made a radical switch to DECAF - I am adjusting to this). Beutiful day to have a play.
I had looked for this cache before - today put my hand straight on it!!
Thanks busy paws for the fun.

Found on a dog walk.
I finally looked up and found out what "cockney" means thanks to this cache.
And learnt a bit about the accent - [Learn the Cockney accent with Jason Statham](https://youtu.be/1WvIwkL8oLc)

TFTC! Lots of interesting bits of old metal on this site. But found it eventually!
I'm sure I was in the right place considering the cache title but unfortunately I just couldn't track this one down today
StreetWalker and I are attempting to turn some solved [?] into today, and after success with four puzzles, we decided to look for a few trads as well.
SW got to GZ first, but seemed to be making hard work of it, so I walked up, saying it's probably hidden .... and found it in the first place I looked [:p]. That doesn't happen often, but love it when it does.
I suppose it dates me to mention that I do know the song, but I have no memories of rag and bone men, so maybe I'm not **that** old. TFTC.

#14956. Once I spotted the object referred to in the title, I knew it was the hiding place. The cache eluded me, but Troodles spotted it soon after arrival. TFTC.
In Christchurch for the weekend with my partner and while she is doing a 2 day course I came up with her as it isvthe perfect time to log lots of caches and try to log 2000 before next year. TFTC
Out on a Mad Monday Mission. Grabbing a few around town and surrounding area.
Thanks for the cache busy paws.

A lovely day, and the plan was to take mum out op shopping, as she hadn't really been much before!! So took baby too, and we went on a girls day out! - But what day would be complete without some caches thrown in?! So of course, we tried to time that around baby and her naps & all.
Luckily, after the first op shop, baby was pretty exhausted, and out, so we could go & try for a few not too far off the road caches!
This one took us much longer than it really should have - the coords had us a wee bit away, but once we found the hint, it was all so obvious!
TFTC!!

Never mind the caches we find 'on the way' home, we were both in need of a good caching day out! It was not meant to be a completely caching day with baby, so we managed to do a nice combo of op shopping and caching! Baby was loving every minute of it except being in the car seat - so we tried to look for some on a short walk, to give her a chance to have a good run around. I think it's fair to say that we all ended up knackered at the end of it!
Quick find here - interesting item in the middle of nowhere! TFTC!!

Quick find after work. Thought this might have been more of a walk or a tree climb... GLB1721 TFTC (3938)
Out doing a few caches near where I was staying on holiday.

Thanks also to busy paws ...good place for cache ....not too close to playground....

A bit soggy underfoot after yesterday's rain, but no issues getting to GZ. Stunning view from this area today. TFTC
Climbed down from the tank to GZ and made a quick find. Escaped taht way too, though managed to gark my shin on something. Ow. Cheers.
Found on a lovely Sunday afternoon drive around Christchurch.
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

7576. Was up the hill looking at a section belonging to a friend. On the way down I remembered that there was a cache around here somewhere. Unfortunately my cellphone decided to die on me so I had no GPS. Relied on geocaching instinct and a half-remembered cache name. After a short walk I discovered several places that looked likely. This was the third place I looked. Then I had no pen, but happened to have the stump of a pale green coloured pencil in my pocket, so I scrawled a barely legible signature. Thanks for the cache - I wonder how many others are in the area that I missed! Rodney.
Had a quick meander down the walkway to find the Cache. We wondered what this piece of Iron originally was from.TFTH
This was an interesting spot to visit. One day I'll come back and explore here more. Thanks for the cache. Be interesting to be here when there's rain to see if the little gullies fill up with water and if the pipes still work. Nice fungi in the vicinity too.
Wonderful evening for an evening outing. Tried the app on the phone for the first time.
First time using the app instead of the gpsr! Quick find in the evening. Thanks!
Quickly found with thanks. Cords several metres out for me bit hint made it obvious enough.thanks!
Got a chance to pop up here on the bike before the heat of the day. Lovely peaceful spot, just the happy sound of kids in day care. Awesome views. Quick find. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
A fairly quick find after work tonight. Hoping that those are rain clouds I could see.
