Parked where suggested & decided to do the walk. No luck on this one today so maybe CO could check on it. Had a really good look, I think.
After completing #2, #3 and #4 in the series, it was back to this one to see if I could have any better luck than the previous two searchers. Alas no.
Given that the previous found logs mostly say it was an easy find, I suspect there's a good chance it's gone missing again so a CO visit would probably be a good idea.
Many thanks for the series and hopefully I'll be able to redeem this DNF on a later date.

We scored Mother Duck 4, 3 & 2, but we were out for a Duck on this one. Hope we have a better innings next time we visit.
We came for drive so the little one would have a nap. I had looked for this one previously but it had been muggled. this time it was a quick find in the place i had.. looked before. TFTC
It was really windy this afternoon, I needed a traditional cache and didn't have much time, I parked nearby and walked down, my gps was all over the place, i read a couple of past logs then it was a quick Find, thanks for the cache 3ferrets tnln sl
12.55pm. Had a look for this on the way along the path but gave up and then tried again on the way back. Easy this time as we looked in the right place.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Found but couldn't be bothered to write in it. Thought I might get the log back in.
This series was done in 2 halves ... the first (#1 & #2) with the geo-dog in tow and the second without. He doesn't really enjoy walking at my pace so bailed out when we returned to the car (which I parked at the halfway mark) leaving me to do #3 & #4 on my own.
My phone's GPS took its time getting up to speed here, pointing me everywhere but to GZ. Finally, though, it settled down and sent me very close to where I had tied up the geo-dog and to where the cache (which I note is now a micro not a small) was hidden. Thanks 3ferrets.

I'd walked straight passed this cache before I realised on my walk along the lake so on the return walk I stopped here to look for it so I could complete the series.
I followed the GPS and once again quickly found the cache. This was the most exposed location of all four caches but there didn't seem to be anyone around. The log was completely dry which is good news after today's rain and wind. I signed the log and visited some TBs then returned to the geomobile, put the heater on and headed back to Sydney!
That completes the Mother Duck series! (I think, are there more in another part of the lake foreshore?)
I didn't see any ducks, except the one in the cache, but I have enjoyed the walk around this part of the lake. I've never been here before and I'm very impressed with the pathway and the seats along the way, all in spots with great views.
TFTC # 2053 and 6th find for the day.

We were heading to Gosford today and saw this series of caches that were on a bike ride. So we stopped, unloaded the bikes and headed off to search. We ended up finding only 2 of the Quack caches but did grab 2 trigs as well so all was not lost.
Had 2 goes at this one, on the way and then again on the way back but no luck for us here. Thanks.

It's milestone time again, but my target has flown the coup. Almost 90 minutes away, I'll need to be quick - and lucky.
And I still have 4 finds to make first. Luckily there are 4 other caches nearby...
Managed to get 15 for the day - best make the day worthwhile after the long drive - and 14 other caches besides.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And here is where it all went pear shaped...
No sign of it here for me today. Mind you, I really felt exposed searching here, and on my way back to *The Hademobile* a neighbour nearby was mowing their lawn.
Speaking of which, I did note the area inside the fence has been recently mowed.

Nice stroll along the Lake path after dark with a nice moon rise reflection on the flat water.
Lots of mullet jumping tonight.

Here we meet the creator of the caches niece, and her family who are new to geo caching, tftc
It was overcast and windy day but not enough to put me off going for a walk! Success by the temporary waterfall TFTCSL thanks for the walk along the lake
The weather forecast indicated a weekend without rain so we decided to go towards Central Coast to find some caches. We booked two nights at Freemans camping area. During the week we had solved all fourteen 3ferrets Cachentines. Decided for a slow start with the Mother Ducks. Took some time to locate but in the end the hidong spot was found from behind.
Time to grab a few down this way again. This one was a quick find with good coords. Sad reading the notice about the dog attack. Dropped TB. Thanks 3ferrets
Another fun find the the geofamily and new geodog. Kids soon had this CIH. TFTC.
We took a little walk along the beautiful "Lake Munmorah" and found some caches. The weather was good, so we stayed dry.

Find #1182
It was a great day to be out caching today, we managed 17 finds in a few series' in the Lake Munmorah/Summerland Point areas, only 1 DNF today.
First up was the new Mother Duck series....
This one took a little while, with no real idea of what we were looking for, we spent most of out time searching the rocks, then found the cache almost underneath where I had left my backpack after arriving at GZ..... a hint would have been nice? TFTC 3 ferrets

We didn't have to wade through the reeds to get this one. Another little duck to add to our collection. Tftc.
Found with BillHill531 and my eldest son on a day down here. Trying to find all the caches within thirty (or fifty) kilometers from home and there have been a lot of new ones in this area. Came and found the Summo/Gwando series, Carters road foot/bike path series, Mother duck series and all the traditionals in between. But before I could even get to logging these the Cachentine series has been published. I guess I will be back...
Did these in a strange order, so we had some to do on the way back. One second. Good coordinates here. Glad it was not in the rocks.
Thanks for the fun day, walk and series!

We parked intending to walk along the path for all 4 caches as it is only about 800m each way. The first one was found and logged but we had to wait a long while before returning it as walkers strolled past then stood looking at the view. Thanks 3ferrets for the hide.
Wow it's windy here this arvo. At least it's not hot though. A quick find. TNLN TFTC
