Well, we've looked for this a few times now, and will now have to admit defeat, do the right thing and declare a DNF. We're possibly very blind to this cache !

On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.

As our road trip of Tasmania continued, we have done a majority of the East Coast and now we are heading west along the north coast. We are now heading from Tullah to Stanley.

We made our way to Cradle Mountain as I was super keen to go see the Tasmanian Devils at the Devils at Cradle sanctuary. I sponsor a number of Tassie Devils at this location so it was amazing to see them in real life. They really are very ugly cute animals hahaha. It was time to make out way to Stanley and of course, we took the scenic route where we could. Completed the nearby EC and had to grab this one whilst here. The log on this one needs replacing as its full.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this Geocache BarDar (BAD) Big Grin

Visiting from Townsville and continuing our anti-clockwise loop. Launceston and Davenport today.

28-Oct-21
A brief drive by to collect a few caches in Burnie, specifically for a LGA challenge back home. This spot was beginning to quiet down as the clock ticks down to 6pm, with only a few young persons parking nearby listening to really loud sounds with a beat. With three sets of eyes looking for this cache, it didn't long to find it. Thanks for keeping this cache active BAD BarDar!!

28-Oct-21
Down in the Apple Isle with JACS and TeamARF for a week or so to hunt some caches and traipse about having adventures. Fab puzzles and wonderful countryside. Awesome caches all round! We are thoroughly enjoying this adventure and grabbing some very well maintained oldies awesome locations. Today was mostly about Penguins! Adorable little creatures with an entire named in their honour and a GeoArt. We had a ball today despite it being along one! Finished off some LGAs and of course another cemetery. Tftc

Hello, We found your cache on day #( I have actually lost count of the day, lets just say month 1) of our Lap year trip.
We sold up our hobby farm in South Gippsland and put everything in storage, we are now living on the road full time in our caravan and ‘doing a lap’ for the next year or so.
Sorry for the generic log, but time, data and reception (gosh Tassy has spasmodic reception) are all factors in the decision to use a copy and paste log, we will always endeavour to leave a photo or two with each log and always leave a favourite point and unique comment(S) where applicable for the truly outstanding caches.
Earth, Virtual, Letterbox, Handmade and Gadget caches are always at the top of the list for us to find.
Thank you for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to find today.

Heading out to Stanley with my tribe but it’s a bit of a drive from Launceston, so we stopped for a snack here. While my muggles were finishing off their bakery delights on the beach I headed back over here to try and find the cache.

Given the many levels I thought I could be in trouble! Thankfully I had the sneaky beasty in hand in no time. Not much room on the log but I managed to leave a mark in pink ink.

Thanks for the cache BarDar (BAD) Big Grin

Like a lot of well hidden caches, this one was so tricky when I was searching and so obvious once I found it. Didn’t have a lot of time so gave up after 10 minutes and went and did the nearby earth cache. Decided to have one last look for this one and there it was. TFTC

02-Aug-20
Took us around 30 minutes to find, sneaky little hide, we were looking in the completely wrong spot until we changed our perspective.

Greetings from Washington state. On a 28 day cruise on Sea Princess. This is our second port of call. I didn’t find this so I left to do the earthcache. Wandered back and had a hunch and found it right off. Almost needed my tall muggle hubby but I figured something out. TFTC

18-Feb-20
Finally found it!! Very sneaky

18-Feb-20
Came back a second time with less people around, and found it pretty quickly!!

17-Feb-20
Brought my muggle mum as lookout (I have her well trained). I'm sure that I had found one here in the past. Had a quick scout around and then checked hint. Well that ruled out a few places and then there it was. Noticed that previous dnfs were written by newbies. This is not a newbie cache. Mum reckons that I had it under 5mins. One of my fav quiet places in town. Shame that waterfall/fountain has been out of order for 17 months. Maybe it'll be going on my next visit home. TFTC

14-Feb-20
will come back when there’s less people around

After the event I headed down here to find this cache, this was very tricky and so lucky to come away with the find!!
The D rating should be at least a 3.5

Today was my last day in tassie for the time being, unknown when the next return will be but I assume it will be soonish. With some time to kill between lunch and the spirit of Tasmania departing. I decided I would head to burnie for an event and collect some caches along the way.
Overall 26 finds for the afternoon.

Thanks for the cache.

Find #4640. Found @ 13:31 with The Good Lady Wife, skirrel and j-bean.

We're on a family holiday to the Apple Isle and what better activity to do as a family than find some caches... except that the rest of the family aren't really into caching. Oh well, at least TGLW comes along for the walks.

After having fish and chips for lunch in Bernie we went for a walk to collect a cache or two. This one was the first, and exactly what I figured I'd be looking for.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache BarDar (BAD)

Thank you for the cache! I’m on a holiday journey in New Zealand ???? and Australia ???? with my husband foomanjoo and my parents sob55 and harmony9. The people and the scenery have been spectacular! Thank you very much for making the trip even brighter with a smiley ??

02-Jan-20
We are now home from our family holiday adventure so I’ve taken a minute to reflect on some memorable moments.

The city of Auckland, New Zealand saw our first cache just a few seconds after getting off the plane at the airport, and then later amidst the fish market and Sky Tower. We cached our way through Rotorua's geysers and bubbling springs while touring with a cousin who lives nearby and joined us for the day. Then to Napier where the caches were stashed amid all of the Art Deco buildings and antique cars. In Wellington, we encountered a breathless Josh caching all the way up to Mt. Wellington. At our next port Akaroa we found caches in Rolleston, Arthur’s Pass (by train!) and at the lighthouse at the port. We then set sail through Milford Sound and onward to Australia.

In Hobart, we found Josh and Lee in the park by the port and searched in vain for a caching event, but could not find them in the New Year's Eve crowds. At Port Arthur there were caches in the gardens next to the remains of the Penal Colony and along Pirates Bay where we saw Remarkable Cave, Devil's Kitchen and the Tasman Arch. When we arrived in Burnie we walked to caches in and around the small town of 22,000 and we followed a path along the seaside to a man made waterfall and extraordinary rock formation in a park. We cached and toured at the iconic Sydney Opera House, walked the Royal Botanic Gardens, and sat in a chair that was hewn in stone. We made our way to Lane Cove and posed for a selfie
under giant gum trees, seventeen of which are squiggly! In the iron oxidized soil of Uluru we found caches among the rocks and paths, including a miniature version of the inselberg itself. Then we flew to Melbourne where our first cache was a puzzling one in an alley next to Flinders Street Station. We visited Hosier Lane's Street art while on our way to another. We drove to the Great Ocean Road and cached at a really cool place Crowes Buffer Stop, which is the site of an abandoned rail stop complete with flat bed car, tracks and sign. We finished our trip in The Grampians where in Halls Gap we found our last cache along with cockatoos and roos in a rock climb just above an incredible view of the valley below.

It was a fantastic month of adventure and family – my husband Miles (harmony9), my daughter Carey (forestmanjoo), and my son-in-law Josh (foomanjoo), as well as a new friend that we met aboard our same cruiseship, Lee (Cache_Lee). We saw some amazing sights and met some wonderful people.

Thank you for placing this geocache, an important part of our memories of this adventure!

Looked for about 20 minutes. Sad face.

Fast and fun find with forestmanjoo and SOB55 during a day’s adventure off the Noordam. We got lucky as one of us started at the top, one in the middle, and one at the bottom, which resulted in a quick smiley. Thanks for bringing us here, BarDar (BAD)!
