Cache # 11416 on 18 Aug 2024Decided to head down the coast to see if I can get a new earthcache sorted and managed to persuade TikvaNZ, Search4 and Flintstones to join! A bit cool and damp in the morning but the afternoon was blue skies! I had thought I would only be doing 2-3 kms of walking all up, but 9kms later we were finally back in the car going up the Clyde. A great day anyway with 12 caches and 5 ALs, lots of exercise - just what the doctor ordered! Grabbed this one on the way back to the car after a walk on the beach. Dropped a pathtag , which I imagine was picked up by the large group of kids we saw heading there on our way back! Thank you Lightsabers for the cache and the fun!
We are camping nearby so why not make an early morning find and earn a souverior at the same time. The cache is in good condition although the log is a little damp. The ziplock bag does not close properly. Perhaps another finder can come prepared. Thanks Lightsaber for keeping this on at a nice location
TFTC. Second find for today with friends harder than the first thanks for the cache we loved it.
Gorgeous spot, had to wait for a Muggle to move they were blocking our path, so inconsiderate
Nice easy one on a nice walk; 8yo son was stoked as it was the first one he has managed to find on his own. Thanks for the cache!
The kangaroo stared at us as well but managed to get past him and sign the logbook
We are spending a few nights at the nearby camping ground. After a swim at the beach I made my way over for this one. The walking track is starting to get a little overgrown but all good. Lots of roos chomping away on the grass as well. Quick find at the gz. Nice one. Thanks for the cache.
We were in the area for Father’s Day’s and what a way to top the the day off by finding a few geocaches. This was the third one today and we want to say thanks for placing this cache in such a beautiful location.

The bay name certainly is an apt description.
We grabbed some delicious meals from the restraint at merry bay and headed around to Pretty Bay for a picnic lunch, and then wandered off to explore the bay and find the cache.
Thanks Lightsabers
Find recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK

Found this cache at the start of my walk south on the Murramarang trail. Easy find, did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM.

Okay definitely not the best conditions after a month of rain but worth it as this is probably my favourite beach.
We could find it easily. Thanks for show us this beautiful area and the cache. Greetings from Reki
Lovely big cache in among the kangaroos.
Thought it would be further in but pleasantly surprised by a short scenic walk.

After camping at pretty beach for the night went for a short walk after packing up the tent. Last find for the day before heading down to pebbly beach for camping the next night.
We had 10 days camped in Pretty Beach, so plenty of time to pickup this cache. This is another one I’ve made a half hearted attempt to find in the past without a GPS. This time I printed the map and after a short search we turned up the cache. Retrieved a TB for it’s next adventure.

Needing a cache to close out the year I found this one. Protected by four kangaroo cache guardians, it was nonetheless an easy find as promised. I grabbed a TB and dropped a TB. TFTC and Happy New Year.
Always fun to go and find the local caches everytime we are down here camping.. first find for the 2021 Xmas trip
Curious by the title, included this one on my agenda while heading home from a weekend away with SES. Still undecided how name is connected to this location or cache but a quick dash through the scrub, under the watchful eye of skippy, and a smiley was added to the tally. Dropped TB.
I was in the area for G&T's event in Ulladulla, which was to be my 5000th smiley. Looking around for the three caches I needed to get me to that milestone, I saw a cluster of unfound ones at Kioloa which seemed perfect. G&T had an unfound one here as well so we headed down together. After completing the nearby EC, scrambling up the rocks to the top of the bluff, working our way along the path and back to the car, we drove here for my third find of the day. An easy walk along the paths through the scrub, a few kangaroos checking me out as I went along, and then a quick find at the end. I took the TB to keep it moving. TFTC!
Great views along this track. Couple of kangroos nearly squared us up for it though
Chippymick64 went bush bashing for this one and I went the dignified way without the scratches and cobwebs.
The race was on but alas chippymick64 beat me to it!!
Easy to find though. ..TFTC

Did a little bush bashing to get to it, but then again I never did do things the easy way
Deen Guy Boniface Families. Kids took a direct track with bush bash instead of following four lane highway.
Had a day of caching in the Shoalhaven region. Picked up caches between Huskisson and Pretty Beach. A nice day outdoors to start the school holidays.
Spotted a goanna and a family of kangaroos on the short walk to GZ. TFTC

After a nice stroll on beach (and a tumble on the rocks) we picked this easy find off on the way home.
