I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi RowenaD
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Uh oh. Another DNF. No cache could be spotted. Sadly this was to be the last cache sought in Cromwell this visit. Shame to finish with a DNF.
this was the second to last cache of the day and while we quickly found the star fruit which i have eaten when in Singapore, there was no cache with it. we searched the ground with no luck but i did happen to have a bison in my bag so we placed a new log book in it and hang it along side the star fruit.
Today was set aside to do a geo caching day to Cromwell if the weather was unsuitable for skiing which is was , so we set off early at about 8.30 and finally arrived home about 5.30 with approx 41 caches in total including the adventure lab , so we were very pleased. we took a muggle who have been intro' to geocaching briefly on a few days before and so today was a big geo caching experience for her and as i had 2 GPS's with me she was able to use one quite independently by half was thro the day.
we enjoyed spending some time at the historic Cromwell area which none of us had actually explored before and where we had lunch at the Grain cafe.
we only had 2 DNFs and both were of puzzle style caches which we had solved but there was nothing at GZ.
thank you for these caches

On holiday staying in Wanaka and decided to check out a town we haven't visited on previous trips and today it was Cromwell. Had a good time exploring the town including the museum which is near the cafes in the town centre area and then some caching - a perfect day really!
At around 3pm I was eyeing up the series as we had finished exploring the town. 'How long can I cache for then?' 'Until you get a DNF was the response' Well if that was not motivation to find them all I don't know what was! Woohoo local caches and series here we come!!
Found the fruit but the cache container with log is missing . Searched around in the leaves but no luck. Have photo proof for the CO if needed.
Thanks for the cache.

Another tropical fruit that looked a bit out of place in this environment. A welcome find nevertheless, we are pushing on to the end of this fruity trail. Found with Flumsy2.
After heading in the wrong direction ... Flumsy2’s fault... only 31 degrees now, a nice Starfruit was found with Spoonz2 tftc
Yay we finished the trail! Loving easy one to finish off at Cromwell for the day
Such an apt series to hunt down in this beautiful region! I really enjoyed finding these guys - nice quick finds and they all made me smile upon finding them.
Thanks for taking the time to put them all out and I hope one day to come down and find the remainder to complete the set!
This was our last find of the evening before enjoying some dinner at the recommended restaurant 'The Stoaker Room'. I think we tried starfruit in Rarotonga it was a bit too melon tasting for my liking, but looked pretty...

Thanks RowenaD.
Thanks RowenaD.
Had a great time finding caches today as we journeyed back to Gore from Queenstown, took the long way via cromwell. Was a lovely mild winter's day, and although we found a few around Cromwell, I think we might have to come back and get the rest! TFTC loved the fruit series
On a 7 day caching trip with Nosynel. Seventh day on the road focusing on caches in Cromwell. I have never tried this fruit as far as I know. Good to find another in the series. Thanks for the hide.

I wonder what that tastes like. Jude_E and I spent last night in Arrowtown and are planning on finding the fruit series, doing the lab cache and other geocaches in the Cromwell area. It is our final full day on this Otago Road trip.. Thanks RowenaD for creating this hide. It was find 8737 for me.

Taking Aussie Pete back to the Queenstown airport to fly home. Did some of these the day he arrived so only fitting to do the rest on the day he leaves. Some of the fruit would be easy to source but others not so. Well done in doing this fruit trail. Very fitting for the area. Made us go down roads we have never been down before.
An early start for me this morning....out on a bike ride loop of Cromwell township to grab a pile of the fruit series caches. We are staying in the nearby campground for a week so plenty of time to explore the local area.
The plan was to cycle along the lake edge path...but seems to be closed for construction- so now going to follow the road.
Sorry for the repetitive logs - but a great cache series.

Not many people know that star fruit juice can be poisonous, if not lethal, to people with kidney failure. Irrelevant fact of the day. But I am a kidney specialist!! Thanks for the cache.
Today we made a nice little tour in Cromwell. Found a lot of fruit and some other nice caches. Thanks to all the CO's for maintaining the caches. TFTC.
It is time to do a little fruit shopping this morning.
Not certain what these are. Might have to ask Aunty Google.
Cheers for the cache.

Out to get some caches today before we head for Queenstown and the flight home. TFTC
We found the fruit but no cache was attached. We looked around and found the cache on the other side of the tree. We placed it in the tree beside the fruit.
From Wanaka to Queenstown we decided we make this little fruit trail very Nice with the trees with bloesem

Up staying in Clyde for a weekend and thought I would catch up on some of the caches around Cromwell - what an awesome series. Thanks to RowenaD for all your great work setting up this series. What fun for children and also for the child with in us grown ups.
Was disappointed to see LVL had been logging her online logs on a different date ( by 5 + months ) to when she actually visited the caches. Imagine if we all did that !

*A fresh new day seen me grabbing my vitamin ABC's while winter time dots are thin on the ground for August soon to be rectified with a push over the border ploughing new fields of Central Otago of it's green dots turning dozens of dates from one singular shade of green to a multiple darker green on the 'finds' table*. Star fruit? no idea what it tastes like. Someone mentioned lemon squeezer earlier somewhere? I let google do the talking and came up with something like a sunburst squash, Oookay? Parked at the corner and waved to a muggle wandering around his property with a .22 putting pay to wabbits - nothing suspicious going on here and walked up to the GZ. Spotted the ziptie first, then fruit found under duff in hide. No bison found, so I replaced with 100ml can with bagged RITR logbook. Reattached the fruit to the new cache with a jury-rigged ziptie and returned to forked hide. A bit of time spent fixing this one up, I'll have that coffee next time; hot, strong, white and one sugar; two to the left, four to the right. Thanks for getting us out of the car RowenaD.
I loved doing this series of caches, and seeing all the different cache containers. It was a very fun way to spent a morning, thanks for putting them all out. TFTC
A great way to spend a morning doing a lovely series of caches, Mr 5 absolutely loved it. Thanks for placing all these caches

On a geocaching adventure around the country with myself, my car and my tent. Drove almost 4000km and collected 170 caches over a week of roadtripping, camping and seeing the beautiful sights of New Zealand. Lots of fun and so many great caches were found, as well as a lot of DNF's. Apologies for copy paste post. Thank you to all cache owners. Day five driving from Lake Hawea to Te Anau. Thank you for the cache
- thank you so much for this fantastic trail! had such a good time driving around and running over to find each piece of fruit, with a big grin on my face each time I found one. I just wish I could favourite them all!

We have found this cache with Old Croman and Muller T. during our holiday in New Zealand. We really apreciate this trail, the caches were nicely done. Unfortunately the weather was not good, it was raining whole day. Some logbooks were full and wet.

Today we made a trip in and around Cromwell, thus visiting many sightseeing highlights. On this trip we searched, found and logged many caches, too. The weather was beautiful, sunny, very warm, no little bit cloudy, and only sometimes there was some wind.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had to drive their cars on the not too easy roads around here.
Thanks to RowenaD for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Little Fruit - Star Fruit. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

The youngest of the EU crew was involved in a hockey tournament for 3 days, so some great caching had between games. Enjoyed the Little Fruit series. TFTC
We headed out mid morning to do a few trails. These caches were very well placed and interesting. We got lots of enjoyment from it, one we DNF but as we discovered the style we went back and made the find.
Great morning for caching this part of the country
