Thanks for the cache. Cache and contents in excellent shape. Replaced log book with paper and should be good to go. It was a beautiful winter day no clouds or wind
Bush Track and I had a joint day out caching in the area, it was enjoyable to spend the time together. We had 25 Finds, 1 DNF, and 1 we had to leave due to a Snake!
Go around the West side. Easy needs a new log. Found a beautiful heart rock on the walkout.
Thanks Nathan James for placing this cache

Finally decided to have a go for this one and found it without too much trouble
Everything was against me for this one but we had put off getting it last time we were up here for the same reasons so today was the day!!
So at high tide and with fading light I headed to GZ which involved quite a bit of bush bashing and rock hopping, sometimes putting my feet down not knowing what was underneath.
So therefore it was disappointing to get to GZ and find an empty container.
I had a small piece of card in my pocket so wrote my name and the date on that and left it in the container.
Perhaps the next finder could bring a new log for this one. It is a tube a couple of inches long and about 15 or 20 mms across.
Thanks.

Didn’t think I would make it to the geocache because there are lots of small rocks to scramble over. I persevered and found the geocache. Travelling with Angus 88. Thanks for the geocache
Found With GeoMaggie2. On a caching day out with our four Westies. Thanks for placing this cache. Took photo no log.
I trekked into this cache along sodden grass, passed fierce vociferous hounds (close enough), and along squishy rocky shores.
When I got to GZ I thought I had gone the wrong way, and looked for access into the bush, finding none. Then I realised where it was.
Not wanting to walk as far back as I had coming in, I kept walking around the shore until I got to mud. The sort that looks like it sticks and stinks. I didn't want to repeat the mistake of a few days ago, so headed bush. Into the thick, wet, blackberry infested woods. After many thorns found their mark, and battling shrubs intent on tripping me, I got back to water sodden grass. Once more I braved walking past the barking dog.
With wet, but not muddy, feet I got back to the car.

Today was day 19 of my trip from Adelaide to Tasmania and was spent seeking out some caches I had targeted in the north-east of the state. Most of the targeted caches were puzzle caches, although there were a couple of traditionals and multis as well, but I also completed some other opportunistic multicaches and traditionals along the way.
After yesterday’s perfect weather, the increasing cloud and drizzle was quite a contrast. But at least the actual rain held out until the evening. I am glad I didn’t plan to camp again tonight!
It took me a little bit to find my way into this one, but once I was on the foreshore it was a pleasant stroll to the cache.
Thanks Nathanjames123 for the cache.

On our tour around Tassie we made here a quick stop.
After a while looking we can find the cache. We was happy that the water was deep.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

Parked near by and made the walk around the beach and out to the point, a CITO needs to be had here as there is so much rubbish that has washed up. A beautiful location if you disregard the rubbish.
Today I decided I would head up to pipers river to collect a multi and then continue over to Georgetown/low head to pick up the remaining few caches I had left to find it the area. A total of 17 finds turning 6 DNFs into smileys. Was great to even run into some fellow cachers: Tassietrekers and whitewebs on their journey in the area.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around the West Tamar then headed over the Batman to George Town and beyond. A quick find after a nice walk on a well maintained river edge. Beautiful views. TFTC
Today we went out and about with Whitewebbs and headed to the George Town and surrounds to find caches published since our last visit.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition. We took the long way around the grassed area and walked around the beach to GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Searched for 20 minutes, 10 meters either side of GZ but could see nothing obvious.
Visiting the George Town / Low Head area with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP for a couple of days. Mmm, if only we had read some previous logs before we headed out to this cache we would have made sure we headed out at lowtide. As it was, it was pretty much high tide so we couldn't access the cache at water level but instead had to just bushbash our way to the point. Interesting task to do with a 30+kg dog who is on his lead and wants to walk on the opposite side of every tree to you. Anyway we got there in the end, and after accessing the hint and a few more minutes of frustration, the cache was soon in hand. We did take a few minutes to enjoy the views as it was a beautiful sunny still day, and the GeoGSP enjoyed having a bit of a paddle in the shallow water at the point. Glad to turn this one into a smiley.
Out and about with Lil Rafa to get caches for the Hidden Creatures series, all the way to Low Head, we found, signed and replaced the cache, completing the find. TFTC TNLN log dry, cool nights but nice days. hardest access to a cache I have ever done, got there on high tide so we could not walk around the beach or rock area, so we had to semi walk around the upper tide mark and then up over the impenetrable bush to the point and find the rock outcrop and wow there is was. pity there are not nasty points as there is fav. points, dog got tangled around that many trees.
GPS a good few metres out but finally a shout of “got it!” Great cache. Loved in the area my whole life and have never before explored this part of the shoreline. TFTC.
Cache was certainly in plain site. But was broken free of its cable ties. So half covered it with a rock to stop it getting blown away. Cache is still very visible.

Our last day of caching around the area and we had a few caches we wanted to get before heading back to Hobart! This just happened to be on the way so we thought we would pay a visit. This certainly was views in all directions and we came in one direction and left in the other direction. While I stood on the rocks, male membsec had the cache in his hands! Quick find with beautiful views.

Hooray !!
Low tide
Which meant I could take the shortcut across the bay [^]
Easy strollin' and not too muddy
At GZ I got distracted for many minutes though
Well there was no chance of a muggle turning up,
so just for once the cache find could wait 10 minutes or so [:o]
The distraction ??
A bl@@dy big boat coming straight for me !! [:o]
After that bit of fun,
I got back to seeking the cache.
Following the instructions didn't help
Nor did 20 minutes of poking and peering all over the nearby area
So a DNF for me today !!
But a great view and plenty of entertainment [^]

In Georgetown for the evening catching up on caches I hadn’t found yet. Walk to the GZ was an interesting one, even at low tide it was hard to keep out of the mud. Once at the e Gz it wasn’t long until I spotted the cache.

Hi there Nathanjames123.
We found your cache **"Views in all directions."** at 10:07:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18658).
Yesterday nothing seemed to go according to plan. Everything just seemed to go wrong - but today was quite different and the sky gods smiled on us. Today we decided to revisit the caches we couldn't find yesterday, and then take a "next closest" approach to find a few more, & ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey. We had an absolutely wonderful drive and our count for the day was 13 finds (& 2 DNF's).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape. (We would have called this a micro).
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 52m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Mud flipped from my thongs all up the back of my legs and onward to my clothes but it was funny after we lost our footwear to the black mud.
Bit of a smelly trip home before we could wash our feet, luckily we’re locals
TFTC and HNY for our souvenir

After slogging our way through the low tide we spotted cache for our NYE souvenir. TFTC
We wandered across from the nearby Foreshore cache to collect this one. Took the direct approach across the mudflats at first before re-assessing after sinking a little deeper in the mire than expected, and instead took to higher ground and went the longer, more conservative approach. Followed the hint at GZ, and sure enough, there was the cache. Thanks Nathanjames123 for organising the cache.
We completed our GC calendar a number of years ago. After that we were looking for another challenge and decided to try to find 5 caches on each day of the year. When that was achieved, we raised the bar to 7 and that was attained. Currently the target is 10 and today is one of the days where we needed to find two caches to get to 10 caches for 27 September. Two caches in the Tamar area, one at George Town (which was published in late February this year) and one at Riverside (published in the middle of this month) were possibilities which we tackled today.
When we checked this cache an Google Earth we could see that unless there was a track through the scrub, we would have to approach this cache from the shoreline. Thinking that it might be more difficult at high tide, we consulted the tide charts and found that low tide was at 11:00am today. So we arranged to get to the area an hour earlier to hopefully give ourselves a couple of hours to get to and find this cache.
When we arrived we saw that the tide was well out leaving a wide expanse of shoreline. The southern side of the point appeared to be quite wet and muddy. So we walked over the grassed area and got to the northern side of the point. Here the shoreline was rocky but easily navigated for the 150m to GZ. There was a wide expanse of rocks on which to walk but it was obvious that the area would be covered at high tide as there were seaweed deposits at the base of the bushes on the point.
When we arrived at GZ our GPS wanted us up on the top among the low scrub. We went up there but didn't find anything consistent with the hint and we certainly didn't find the cache. We did find, however, very many beer cans and other rubbish - a real pity. So we returned to the rocky shoreline. We worked our way along a 20m section of the bank on the shore, looking for locations consistent with the hint. There were quite a number but after about 10 minutes Mrs y'stassie called "Got It" in a place that we had both searched previously. It is just so easy to miss something that blends so well into its surroundings. the cache and contents were in good condition.
It was an overcast day and there were spots of rain which were slowly increasing in frequency. So, the view from the point was not as spectacular as it may have been on a bright and clear day. Nevertheless, we could appreciate the 360 degree views from this point. Thanks nathanjames for bringing us here.

A rare day to myself so jumped in the car and headed to the East Tamar to clean up a few outstanding GC and GA caches. This without doubt the (physical) cache of the day. Excellent hide and not where I expected it to be.. thanks..!!
Claim ftf at 3:47pm today and the log is so small for the size of the container as well. Lovely views on this windy sunny day
