Because of the pandemic, many caches became
unmanageable in the time
needed to race out to them and I have not been able to
justify the time to keep this cache going.
I know you may be sad that this cache,
like many of it’s partners is going, but
sometimes it is an old cache that makes way for a new one.
Until next we meet on the caching trail, have an
extra special time caching. KD.

On my way to Wangaratta just can’t help myself. Finally worked this one out only to get here at GZ with a DNF. Should have read my previous the previous logs. Not a good way to start my day
Nearly a year since I last looked for this one. Apart from a Pandemic, not much has happened in that time ️ Still no luck finding this hide but at least the geochecker agrees with my coordinates still.
Enjoying getting some smiley's around this area today. Thanks for the cache and a puzzle we could do.
Cache guardians are not my favourite type of guardians especially when they are doing their job. The cache was retrieved, signed and returned to its hide. Thanks for the cache.

Had this one solved for ages. Nice to finally convert to a smiley.
Cheers kangadrew72

The cache retrieval was almost as dangerous as the puzzle here today, with a cache guardian making a nice web about GZ. Eventually we were brave and reached for the cache! Thanks so much for placing this cache kangadrew72
Found at 12:12. My 2500th.
Final cache before grabbing lunch and heading home. I'd solved this puzzle soon after it was released but don't get up here too often.
There was one dog walking muggle nearby but not close enough to worry us. I had a pretty good idea where the container would be and found out on the first try.
Thanks kangadrew72 for the puzzle and the cache.

Went for a walk this morning and found a few caches. I helped solve this puzzle for Bunadoorian by setting up a spread sheet to deal with the transporting of the chemicals ( thankfully having to deal with Material Safety Data Sheets for work I found the information fairly easily) early in the year. We then went out when we found it and he signed the log. I have been looking forward to signing this log for myself. TFTC.
I'd actually avoided this one, because it looked like it would take too long. But I gave it a crack today. It wasn't super quick, but I nutted it out relatively quickly and the find was easy once the problem was solved. TFTC.
After My Geowife solved 85% of the puzzle I was able to claim the kudos by solving the last 15% of the puzzle. Then on approaching GZ I pointed out the most probable location so my geowife promptly had the prize in hand to claim the kudos back. A very clever puzzle and GZ not that far away from home. TFTC.
Thanks for that one - you know it had me scratching my head for a bit after a mistake threw me off. Tftc!
Here in the company of GJMMelb and quiet1_au. A quick find, but retrieving the log required tweezers. TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au. This was a real team effort over a number of weeks. Today with the aid of tools and corrected co-ords we were able to sign the log. Thanks kangadrew72

One of those puzzle you look at and put aside a few times, first when it was published, then when you drop in hoping for an easy field puzzle (or at least solvable on the spot - umm nope.) Following our brief, unprepared and therefore unsuccessful first site visit, G' of GJMMelb worked on it for a while and made good progress but the final green-light eluded him. I took up the torch/baton and checked over his work and found something NQR (it must have been fairly minor as I can't find any of my workings) and spotted something that yielded the correct solution G' visited solo and failed to extract the log, so taking a detour to our planned caching area this afternoon - no complaints! - we had another go, lochb coming properly equipped with the required tool that after some effort by multiple cachers we managed to extract the log and record our visit. TFTC and a tricky but ultimately logical puzzle kangadrew72
While I can't say that the subject matter here is something I've directly applied in a professional capacity, it's certainly related to matters that I once studied at excruciating length in a previous life. So the puzzle gave off some friendly vibes as soon as I opened the page. I had some coordinates almost instantly. It sounds like many have had that experience. But that all seemed suspiciously easy. A bit more thought was applied to the task, some bits and pieces were dredged up from the dark recesses of my memory, and a better solution began to appear. Resulting coordinates shortly satisfied the checker as well. Fantabulous. That was a little while ago now, but I no longer live in this neck of the woods. Today I was able to get there not long after dawn and the cache was quickly retrieved without incident while the neighbours were still sleepy. I was a bit drowsy myself, come to think of it, but I nearly always am. But enough about me. Thanks kangadrew72 for the nifty puzzle and placement!
This puzzle confused me at first, at second , at third... I tried a lot of things going around in circles. So I contacted the CO who kindly helped push my wheelbarrow on a straight line and I soon had a green tick. Looking back now it's not that difficult, but sometimes the brain gets stuck, this is my last time I'm using jet lag as an excuse.. but I am blaming the upside down sleep patterns that are slowly getting back to normal.
A quick find at gz whilst waiting out some nearby muggles, thanks for the puzzle and the hide.

Sometimes having a little knowledge can be DANGEROUS and at other times it can be GOOD(s).
I was very frustrated when this cache was published as I had to drive past the published GZ twice in the following 30 minutes and did not have time to completely solve the puzzle beforehand. When I returned home I quickly got some co-ords but the GZ I calculated was inacessible so I knew that I had done something wrong.
In the following 24 hours I tried unsuccessfully to find my error so then I put the problem aside. This morning, after reading EuDes's log, I viewed something differently and I had some new co-ords.
A short drive in the car and I was within 13m of GZ. Now I had to wait for the local postman to finish his morning tea and a neighbour to finish packing his camping trailer before I could grab this micro cache and add my name to the list of successful finders.
Thank you kangadrew72 for a very interesting puzzle which increased my general knowledge.

When I first saw this one, I figured that I had the answer rather quickly. As it was sort of on the way to work this morning, I decided to take a short diversion for a look. Once at, lets call it 'RH', things didn't look too good but I had a search anyway given that it was a 3½ star difficulty rated micro/nano. Alas, without a coordinate checker there was no real way of knowing if I had the correct coordinates but after a few minutes, I decided to call it quits as the 'work bell' was ringing by now. (While it's absolutely no business of mine why the CO hasn't put a coordinate checker on this one, I fear that the structure at RH might suffer significant damage from over zealous cachers should they also follow the same calculation logic that I did. After all, the name of this particular structure does not reflect its actual construction. )
Anyhoo, a change of logic soon had me with some different coordinates which inspired a lunchtime escape. Once at GZ, I had the tiny stash in hand straight away at 13:25 to confirm that my second theorem was a tad more accurate than my first.
Upon finally getting the logsheet out, I discovered that I was signing in second place as opposed to the third log on here. [?] Is this a new thing in the game where we only have to find the stash and not sign the log to claim a find? This could upset quite a few of the FTF hounds around the place if one can claim the coveted FTF by simply seeing the cache container. Oh well, *c'est la vie*.
All in all, an 'interesting' cache.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks kangadrew72.

I saw this pop up and casually mentioned the topic to my husband, who then told me he had a font of knowledge on this I was not aware of. So it was on.
He worked out some stuff which meant nothing to him, but told me a great deal.
Found the cache without too much drama (thanks geokidj) - but oh getting the log was another matter, like ausfox mentioned. I'm afraid I ripped it a bit even though I had the tools - sorry kangadrew. It may need fixing/replacing, but was going to need that even before I had at it. I will claim FTL as ausfox is FTF -well done. Thanks for the cache!

We looked and looked
And
Looked
And
The bananas have now determined it is not where we looked.

So I was supposed to be doing some corrections, but then a notification for a new cache popped up and that seemed more appealing. I thought I saw a pattern although it seemed too easy, but thought I'd better go and check anyway. Went, and no cache there, although I did meet a banana as I was leaving the spot the first try took me to. Went home and thought some more, then raced out again, this time with geoson and geodog in tow. We did find a cache although actually logging it seemed to be a whole other challenge. At the same time geoson managed to get bitten on the ankle (bullant we guess?) so we thought it was time to beat a strategic retreat. Have messaged CO to check that it is in fact the right cache but it certainly looked brand new. I believe we have indeed managed FTF but FTL is left for some other brave person.
