With most of today set aside for chores and cleaning up after last night's storm, it left only a short break to find a few caches.
Since my local area has limited opportunities these days, a trip to the Ringwood area was made.
Everything smell fresh and new after so much rain.
Muggle traffic was very light at this time and so the search began. I soon felt the container in a spot that I had already checked, albeit not thoroughly enough.
Thanks for the cache, the series and the walk in the bush GJMMelb.

This morning's mission was to Guess Who before the series is archived.
Anne was the fifth suspect on my list.
A neat puzzle solved during the week.
Lots of dog walkers on the approach to GZ, but all quiet when I arrived there.
Helpful instructions on the cache page avoided unnecessary bush bashing, and the nicely camoed cache was soon in hand.

jimbo_80 we have had so much fun finding your caches and are very sad to hear that you are going to be archiving them for good. We were so sad to see what happened to your bird box construction and understand your frustration with finders not treating your hides with the respect they deserve by leaving chicken nuggets in your containers and stealing your plastic bags, however I hope you can see past these few silly people and recognise the serious joy you have brought so many cachers with your clever hides and even better puzzles, nearly 200 favourite points worth.
Well with only a week to go now, we are doing it!
On our way back from Ferntree Gully, these caches were perfectly placed. This is the last jimbo puzzle for us that isn’t a bonus. We have loved them all.
There’s a pretty nice ring in this one, too big for my fingers though!
Thanks jimbo_80, we will try to find the rest before they go. Only 2 more guess whos.

I think this was my first solve on the Guess Who? series probably in one of Melbourne's countless Covid-19 lockdowns to save my sanity!! Jimbo_80 had kindly informed me that he will be archiving these caches in the next month so I thought I'd better get out there and pick them up before they are gone forever. I had to stay focused and not deviate from the plan like I usually do when "there's another one just 250m down the path". So unfortunately there was no time to find the two other nearby trads in this park. A quick find was had at GZ and then on to the next solved mystery....
Container has been replaced and cache is back in place.
Unfortunately I'm archiving my caches after Easter, so please make sure you find them before then. If you need puzzle help, let me know

This is a great cache and my first complexish cache took me a couple tries to get the coordinates correct but it was so worth it. It is so good that so many of these caches are local to me! TFTC
After completing the 'Let's go Shopping' series we started on 'The Real Christmas Lights of Maroondah' labcache picking up another 2 'Guess Who' hides as well, making for a real jimbo_80 late afternoon adventure.
Unfortunately we found only the lid and logbook in zip lock bag exposed on the ground.
We have tucked them in under a rock.
Thanks jimbo_80 for the mystery of Anne.

I solved this puzzle a while ago but did not expect to claim the prize as I live on the other side of town. Being out and about with fellow cacher Echidna44, the opportunity arose to sniff this cache out, which I did. Excellent.
I was on my way to what I thought was GZ. However as I was trying to find the best path to GZ, I reread the description and noticed it had been moved 10M. I think check the hint and made the quick find. TFTC
Was in the area and was listening to a little of the history of the reserve. GT37 is actually doing the family history of one of H E PARKER's daughters. Great to see so much water here. Thanks for the cache.
Loved the walk to this one. Pleased to see so much water and some critters using it even though we were there. Thanks for the cache.
I did the puzzle ages ago and finally started to get this series because there were a few others in the area to get at the same time. TFTC
Having done so little caching, including anything involving solving puzzles, I had a look at nearby ones recently and set to work on this. I soon had something that looked okay and pleased that the checker agreed. I used to love playing this game as a kid. A quick walk along a surprisingly busy path ended with a quick find between traffic. TFTC jimbo_80
This one kept us busy during lockdown, nice to come and play the game now we can! TFTC
Solved this one ages ago but hadn't got around to finding it. Nice and easy find.
Was a fun solve and cache to find on our first day being able to travel 10km for exercise! TFTC
Found itwhat a lovely place! It took a little bit time for my daughter and me to solve the puzzle but it was fun
Mr Pooky completed the puzzle at home, a good lockdown pastime, which took him way longer than it should have. We then headed out for our daily exercise and picked up the cache in the process. It was Mr Pooky, who made the quick easy find with the help of the hint. TFTC TNLN.
I enjoyed solving this puzzle and what a great location for a cache. Never been here before, so we made the most of this opportunity and slowly made our way to GZ. Steve wandered off into la la land, while I checked the clue and found the cache straight away. Reading the cache page now makes sense, as we had the old coordinates saved and not the updated version. Still, I impressed Steve with my geo sense.
Taking a seat while signing the log, a few teenagers ventured into our vicinity. I quickly hid the cache behind my back and was waiting till they moved on, however their dog was enjoying his swim so much they looked like they might be staying awhile, so with cache in hand, we left the area and went for a walk. Returned later when the coast was clear and replaced the cache as found.
Thank you jimbo_80 for a great puzzle and bringing us to this picturesque area.

Another day in lockdown and this is the last mystery cache remaining in the 5k at this time. Enjoyed the walk to GZ and with another clue collected. My gut tells me this current lockdown will be extended for another week. A peaceful spot. Enjoyed the puzzle for this one. Also good to see some spherical muggles out for a jog. Probably one of the positives of a lockdown.
Day 4/7? Lockdown #4

Solved this one a while ago and finally made it here to log it. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, I look forward to finding more in this series.
After lunch and a visit to the NGV with some friends it was out East to add a few caches to the daily tally.
This cache was an ordeal and a half to find. Searching in the dark by torchlight we were searching everywhere in the bushes. The hint didn’t help and confused us even more. We looked for ages and then I noticed something in the logs. We re-entered our solution in the checker... . It’s been changed! Moving to the new GZ the hint now made sense and we soon had a find.
Thanks jimbo_80 for the cache.

I enjoyed playing Guess Who back in the day .. I solved this puzzle quite a while back and today was the day to collect the cache .. I found it nicely hidden and I guess should be safe from passing traffic. Thanks jimbo_80 for placing the cache
Having solved the puzzle ages ago , I thought it was high time to add a smiley to this cache . Ended up resorting to the hint as the gps was all over the place . Thanks jimbo_80
Having completed *sharkiefan's* **Multicache Month Challenge Cache** back in January, I have decided that April is my month for her **Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge**... How hard can it be? 30 Mystery caches in 30 days... time will tell. To give myself a fighting chance at succeeding, I have been solving puzzles over a quite a period of time in preparation for this... and now it is time to go hunting.
I arrived at GZ... or so I thought and started hunting around. Not having any success, I checked the Hint. Rock? What rock? Now I was beginning to doubt that I had the right coordinates... but I must have, I used the the *checker*. Then I spotted the note about the cache having been moved about 10 metres... oh no, was I going have to solve the puzzle again?
No, I took the easier way out... and walked in bigger circles until I found somewhere that matched the Hint... job done, there was the cache... log signed!
Thanks **jimbo_80** for the cache... that's four *Guess Who's* I have done... and seem to be making hard work out of some of them!

Gotcha! Have looked a few times at the cache page but never quite got around to solving the puzzle.
This morning took a little time and followed the instructions, and the checker gave thumbs up! So off to collect the smiley and clue this afternoon. Thanks for the cache and great series.

The Girls had dog training at Knox so this gave me a couple of hours to do some caches, this is one of the caches I found. A shorth stroll and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks jimbo_80 for the cache.
Thanks jimbo_80 for the cache.
So I went bush bashing then read the hint - gz was 15-20metres away from my phone but I got there in the end. tftc
Could this be the end of my Jinx? I really hope so...
As a special reward i picked up some unlove. Yay, go me.
So this hide is VERY close to my home. So close i rode here. Not satisfied with an e-bike i managed to bypass the speed limiter to basically go as fast as i like. Sounds good right? Well mostly yes. Stopping on gravel while turning up the desired path and startling a girl walking her greyhound? Not so much. No damage. Only my pride.
Glad to make the find in a now very familiar part of the world.
Im chipping away at the series as time allows. Not that many to go but im afraid my book keeping skills aren't that great so may need to revisit a few. Ha.
There is one that's a real head scratcher. All good things to those that wait.
Thanks for maintaining the series.
I'm too old to pop a mono but if i could i would. Cheers.

This time last year I did a maintenance run, and all my caches were in place. Then they were disabled for 8 months last year. But now nearly half have gone missing - thanks Rona!
So I'm working on it, but I'm a bit slow, sorry. Hopefully soon.

I think i'm Jinxing this series.
At new coordinates as per checker today.
Blackberry sent 2 of us packing but not after exploring every possibility.
One heavy tree down close to GZ. Poked in and around but cant get under it.
Will keep on a watch list.

After hunting around for a bit we’ve decided the tree in the hint has fallen over, possibly on the cache. We will log a DNF at this time. Maybe someone else will have more luck.
Out with Cooper from fisherfamfive this morning for some caches in the Bayswater area. This one took longer than either of us suspected. The GPS was not cooperating, but once Cooper put the coords into the checker again it was made known to us that it had been moved from its original location. Cooper went in and got it pretty quickly after that. TFTC
The third of a few caches with Jackson from CammFamThree in the Bayswater region. Jackson had messaged me the night before asking if I had solved this cache, and at first I didn't think so because it had been so long since I solved it (almost 2 years now), so we made a detour on our caching trip to grab this cache. As we rode over to the cache, the hint made us think that this would be a nice and simple cache. However, we were so terribly wrong. After going Bear Grylls style around GZ, we entered the co-ords back into the checker and it turned out that the cache had been moved about 10m from the first lot of co-ords. However with that information, the cache was located quickly. Tftc jimbo_80
Great puzzle and an easy find after dodging some council workers tidying up the area. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams

This has been sitting in the solved pile for months and this week I thought it was time to collect it.... but if only it was as easy as that!
My first attempt was Monday night after work as I was attempting to continue my streak that I started a few weeks ago with Streak week... I’m a terrible streaker so to be in my third week was good going for me... sadly the caching did not end well... after getting soaking wet in a downpour and the gps sending me on a wild goose chase in the dark... I begrudgingly went back to the car as I was out of time ... I had to accept my streak was ending as I had commitments I had to get too. Sadly my adventure didn’t end there... my car bounced off a rock and came off second best and yet my night was still young with some life changing moments in store for me... anyway two days later, here I am back at this ellusive cache, parking well away from that crazy rock... reflecting on how much my world has changed since I last parked and came in hunt of this cache. This time, no rain, only sunshine and a much happier gps... a good twenty metres from the wild goose chase of the other night. Anyway cache found and signed. All in good condition... Anne will certainly be an adventure I won’t forget. Thanks for the cache.

Solved without any difficulties then headed out to find Anne's house. GPS put me quite close then it was just a matter of finding a likely location....bingo!

This afternoon I headed out to see if I could find some of the Guess Who series. I parked nearby, where a cricket match was just starting up. Maybe I’m in Australian, but it’s a game I don’t really understand the appeal for! Safely out of sight from the game (thank god), I was able to search for the cache in peace. Thanks so much for placing this cache jimbo_80

Out and about with SteMicMitSar picking up a few caches and this was one that I had just solved this morning. I enjoyed doing this puzzle as it was a game I had often played as a child. A nice reward at GZ with a quick find and our names added to the log book.

At first I was thinking to this cache was a final part to the series until I looked at the cache page and realised it was part of the series but it was a stand along and one I needed to find to collect the clue.
As I was heading this way today with jascat I went about solving it so that we could find it.
This was a good puzzle for me as I was able to solve it not like a lot of them out there.
We headed to GZ and searched around for a minute or two before that familiar blue colour was spotted, the log was then signed and the clue recorder.

A quick cache today when I was out getting the tyres changed on the car.
I had solved this one a long time ago, not quite sure when but it was definitely ago.
Arrived at the GZ and it looked exactly like the clue said it should, a nice quickie

I had solved this some time ago but haven't been in the area to search. Had the opportunity today, and located it after a quick hunt
This puzzle was solved some time ago and I'll be honest and say I'm not sure if I did this myself or it was one we (lochb, GJMMelb and I) tackled on a puzzle solving afternoon together like some of the other Guess Who caches. In either case, as we were in the area this afternoon we detoured to pick this one up. G' had previously found it, but at GZ this wasn't much of an advantage as the location wasn't familiar to him. After a bit of a search - and belatedly checking the hint - we narrowed it down to one place and digging though the fallen leaf litter G' uncovered the cache that had become buried and invisible to my eyes. Hopefully this won't be nearly so difficult for the next finder!

This was the last cache for today. I'd solved this puzzle when it was released but somehow never got it to grab it even though it's not that far away. I parked on the other side of the creek and had a pleasant walk along the track. At a quiet gz I soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks jimbo_80 for the series and the cache.

After having spent the week stuck at home nursing a couple of broken ribs I was desperate to get out if even for a short walk. I convinced Mrs frilk to drive me under the guise of walking the dog.

Had lots of fun solving the puzzle - I love how you have made a "bio" for each of the characters, they make me smile - a lot! Made the quick find tonight under the cover of darkness, will have to try to finish this series...............TFTC!
The GPS wasn't helping much and I couldn't pinpoint a good location to start my search from, I went around in a circle trying to get to the GZ that the GPS was giving me, jumping over creeks and then jumping back. I searched around and bothered a few magpies that flew up to the trees to watch me. After not seeing anything stand out, I resorted to looking at the hint and was able to find the cache without too much trouble, my search area was a little off.
After placing the cache back, a magpie decided to investigate what I put back and watched a little bit as it ventured closer and closer to the cache. I hope Matty the Magpie signs the log and enjoys being a cacher. TFTC.

Interesting to see the 'daylighting' of Dandenong Creek nearby. I enjoyed walking though this remnant bushland and spot on coords led to a quick find. A really fun puzzle to solve too.
That was lots of fun. Beautiful area. Anne is good shape. Well camouflaged from muggles.

I couldn't decide whether to go for Multi March, Mystery May or vice versa. March, as it happened, was a bit of a bust, so I split the difference and am attempting both in April.
The multi part of the equation out of the way, I could concentrate on the question marks on the map...
I completed a couple of these for the Multi Challenge, so it seemed appropriate that I have one on the list for the Mystery one as well, in fact, I'd had it solved and hoped to get out there before the weekend, but just made it home for the school run that day as it was. So this was the furthest afield I ventured on the way home tonight; a close park and a pleasant walk around and into the scrub a bit. Anne was in fine shape when I visited.
Thanks, jimbo_80. I'll have to come and complete the series some time soon.

Solved this one last time I was in Melbourne so today was the day to pick up this and several others on the series TFTC and great series for your first.
I found this cache today at 6:00pm as number 3 of 3 on my Two Multis and a Puzzle Heathmont Hike. Worked this one out at my work tea break today and it was nice to solve. Parked near GZ and a short walk to the cache where it is also nice to see a cacher who gives a hint like they want their cache to be found. (As opposed to other caches in areas like this where the CO will use a hint like "tree"). That's two more of this series complete today. Thanks from D B-A.
Very late in logging but have now done it twice. Sat and pondered all those enjoyable years playing tennis nearby. Picked up the clue. Thanks jimbo_80 for the walk down memory lane
Today's weather was lovely warm. Headed out for a hunt "Guess Who" series with crank1 & Everlasting. Enjoyed the puzzle. Nice scroll in the park. A fav from me. Thanks jimbo_80 for bringing us here.
Head out to Croydon and Ringwood
to finish off with Guess who.
Found it and log it with Everlasting and Pwala
Thanks jimbo_80

Accompanied with pwala and crank1. We had good fun with guess who? Signed the log. Thanks for the cache and hunt
I really enjoyed the puzzle. GZ was familiar as I've been orienteering around there a couple of times. Tftc.
This puzzle just took some time and care to solve. I had a lovely walk to retrieve the cache this morning, and a beautiful winter's morning it was. I didn't know that that bushland was there!
After finding three of these caches today, I only need to pick up one more, probably in Canberra on Wednesday, before I pick up a special one for my number 1,100 as I drive back to Melbourne on Thursday...
Thanks for the cache, jimbo_80

Find #8689
I had not realised there were puzzles to be solved in this series so it slowed me down a little. I managed to work this one out without too much trouble and the cache once at GZ was in place and ready to be found.
Many thanks to jimbo_80 for the cache. TNLN.

Out on a Geocache hunt with Ozhockeychick, the main aim was to get a few mysteries to complete the mystery month challenge. This was the 3rd mystery for the night, Ozhockeychick had solved it earlier, and it was a quick find once we got to GZ. TFTC

Out with Pinkpiggy7 today to pick up the rest of this awesome series. I've had this one solved for ages now, so it was great to finally turn it into a smiley. Log signed, clue retrieved. Great work jimbo_80!

Out and about tonight with Trailstevo and looking to tackle the Guess Who series. Were going fairly well until a croud of people were sat next to one of the clues so we had to divert to the next cache and come back later. Then after a few more find we ground to a halt on one of the mystery cache. I thinks we found 5 in the end and a little more work to do next time. TFTC, TFTSeries.
You have to watch the quiet ones! The ones with hobbies of meticulous handbag sorting. My varied bags (general use rucksack; handbag for going out; the tote I take to work) are cluttered and filled with receipts, twigs, myriad pouches of 'just in case of emergency ' things and I am still lugging around the huge granny knickers that we wore to mark the 1000th cache. Anne, and I don't have much in common.
The find was made quickly despite the fact my phone still had me 5km away. MrsGJM managed to persuade mrs R into climbing a very slippery tree (Mrs R was beautifully presented in nice jeans and cute pumps, not tree climbing gear) and I ate some spider webs while I wandered around while I watched. We emerged to the path more often traveled, looking a little disheveled, and a distant walker, retreated- just a little- to keep her distance.

Gunks and Trailstevo hit the Guess who trail tonight. Couldn't quite clear them all tonight but 5 out of 7 made for a decent night's work. Tftc
I'll have you know that there's nothing wrong with emptying out your handbag and putting everything back methodically. You find all sorts of tasty morsels floating around in the bottom of a handbag.....there's ALWAYS a stray stick of Extra chewing gum down there. I've occasionally become very excited by the discovery of this unexpected sweet treat, but stray Extra acts like those moisture-sucking things and it ends up a bit damp, with the paper stuck to it. Still, in the past I've made the mistake of peeling off the paper, brushing off the flecks of handbag dirt, and eating it. But because it's been storing moisture it gets all claggy and disintegrates pretty quickly. Someone pass on the message to Anne before she makes the same mistake!
I liked the GZ area a lot, and even succumbed to peer pressure when J asked who was going to climb the tree. She snapped away as I awkwardly climbed, trying not to slip and smash my teeth. An Oral & Maxillofacial nurse would not look so good turning up to work with smashed teeth!! I hope J reviews the pics before posting any with her logs, as there was likely a mile of crack showing because I forgot to wear a belt today.

Gary and I enjoyed playing the game to solve this cache and so M, V & I headed straight to GZ for this one! Well my middle name must be Anne coz I also enjoy??? .... well peridocally empty out..... my hand bag too & replace the items one by one .... A woman's handbag is a bottomless pit you know so it's amazing what u can find in there! I have been known to win points at a Trivia night with the contents of my handbag!
Oh but ....... Hmmmm maybe my middle name is only Ann - without the E coz I cant lay claim to cooking croquembouches though!!!
The cache was a nice easy find and then yes I encouraged Melina to climb the tree!! Lol The photos are fine (but I did get permission lol)

Having been prompted to read about *Guess Who?* a bit I learned that Anne was typically perceived as the sole black character, but has become white in some recent editions, apparently either because (i) it prevents "is the person black?" resulting in a win in one move, or (ii) Milton Bradley and/or Hasbro are even more deplorably racist than initially assumed. Interesting.
I'm not sure I ever played the game properly as a child, though I know my cousins had it. This puzzle might the first time I approximated playing it, and I think I now understand the appeal. Though for some reason the numbers in the second part didn't come to me spectacularly easily. But decent coordinates came soon enough. Much as Square_Pegs said, the neighbourhood hosting GZ was not at all familiar to me, so I'm one step closer to being a well-informed taxi driver should that ever be something I aspire to. Quite an attractive locale, it has to be said. Thanks again jimbo_80!
Picked up trackable [Der Wolf ist zurück!]

This is an iconic game which I never owned when I was a child, but have played many times with my own children when they were younger. There is nothing quite as satisfying as that feeling when you flick the various tiles down, with perhaps the exception of making sounds to yourself as you sink a ship in Battleship. I liked the way the puzzle followed the original game play, and with all the clues I was left with the two individuals and the coordinates to GZ. This is a nice area, one that I have not been to before and I hadn't realised was here. There were two TBs in residence which I took, and left a shiny geocoin in their place. I look forward to completing more of the series.
Thanks to jimbo_80 for placing this cache. Find # 7852

Although I have already found the final when The Welder and I joined up our clues and got the FTF, I am leaving the rest of the series to grab on days to fill my calendar and today was one of those days.
I parked and went for a stroll, a few muggles around but soon headed off the main track and had the cache in hand.
I'm liking this series with a mixture of trads, multis and puzzles. Excellent stuff.
Thanks jimbo_80 for the cache, the puzzle, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Uuugggh after 1/2 hr of searching had given up and was nearly back at the car when I thought better check my notes and make sure I'd put corrected waypoint in right. D'oh had only corrected 1 set. Turned around walked back in and had cache in my hand with 2 mins. Dropped off a couple of bugs. Now on to the next clue. Tftc
I solved the guess who part of the puzzle quickly a while ago, but somehow stuffed up the maths part and couldn't get a green tick. Last night when planning my bike ride route, I saw this could be on it and went through the whole thing again and got the green lights first time ! Yay ! This morning along the path was busy but at gz it was quiet and after stumbling around I spotted a hidey hole. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, hope to get the rest of this series done in the next few weeks
